Whether I'm in the minority or not, I thought that Paul was embarrassing vocally over the last decade of the band's existence. For the man who routinely gave Peter - and to a lesser degree Ace - endless criticism about their limited and waning abilities, neither of them had to resort to being such a caricature of themselves that they had to resort to lip-synching. To me, it's the ultimate betrayal of a fan going to see "live" music. But somehow Paul had to because his voice is no longer. The guy who was so 'above-it-all' was relegated to that. Karma is a bitch, and it came back to bite him. Most will probably disagree with me, but it's just my view.

This is a very fair take, not just for Paul but for the other artists you mention. For an artist it's just what you do when you get up in the morning. I can only imagine what it is like not to have that after 50 years, still less after 50 years of doing so successfully. At least he got to do so on his own terms. Imagine being kicked out like Steven Adler or Peter Criss, or even Ace really. All those guys - even Slash after his band just disintegrated - it would be interesting to hear some more on how they each adjusted.

If Paul and Gene want to tour more, I’ll support them. Their music has made me happy for my entire 40+ year life.
Gene's doing it , He can easily walk on stage and simply play and sing. Paul probably want's to but he has no voice and probably doesn't want to go through all the hassle of lip synching and all the technicalities that go with it.
Paul has made music, when it was less people still came, he been at it for 50 years, time to hang it up and be with his little ones, he deserves it.
The star child Paul is a music genies.

I agree 100 kiss sucks Paul just can’t stand to not be in the center of attention. He’s spending all his money on plastic surgery.

@@johnnovak9982 No I don't live him but I'm intelligent enough to have the insight like any other KISS fan who at least is civil enough to respect people from all walks of life,regardless if I know him personally or not. I can see he is a good parent just by the way he talks about his family wife and kids. You seem to have a lot of anger issues when you say KISS sucks. I'm sensing a lot of hate and jealousy from You towards them and that to me is a sign of huge arrogance coming from You.
