Ralle Halonen especially the Stingray has an awful interior in my opinion. Mainly the passenger side is a dealbreaker for me. Otherwise I love the design.
@@dexterhochstetler3727 I disagree, I do renders for my father's business on the regular and people ask for interior designs all the time. It's a reasonable thing to ask and I personally would like to see him take on this challenge. I understand his strengths are in exterior design but honestly you gotta challenge your comfort zone . If he doesn't want it on this channel he could try it in his secondary one
If I ever have the money this is what I want to do with it. I've always loved the c2 corvette styling. But want a more modern car too. Sketchmonkey if you ever read this I would like to see your ideas on a modern take of the back and inside of this car. Dont even need a video on it.
Been following this channel for about 3 years so I have no idea how I had missed this video about one of the coolest cars ever. What an awesome redesign. Absolutely one of my favorites in this channel.
When he said that i remembered Clarkson's opinion about the (then) new M4. It looks nice, but having 23000 of something nice doesn't really emd up being 23000x nicer
Ferrari sometimes make some cars with amazing simple, beautiful lines, look at the front of a GTC4Lusso, and the P80/C has an amazing design (I wish that car was mass produced without the wing, I would sell my organs to buy it) I can't like de SF90 stradale and the 812 Superfast tho, they seem so wrong for me...
By far my favorite redesign to date. I was worried how you were going to pull off the headlights but you nailed it. Thank you for making these videos, they have been a great inspiration to me.
Would you maybe consider doing a late 80s early 90s pick up truck? I absolutely love them and I would love to see one modernized with the classic box shape
I am a huge corvette fan of all years from 53-75. The 67 is my second favorite. I am a purist and never thought I would like a modern redesign of a classic like this. You hit it out of the ball park. Grand slam. Thank you.
BRO!!!! I just found this video and I stood in front of the TV to watch it. Absolutely nuts! I love what you did to really bring a classic car into the new era. I have a 1975 Corvette which by most accounts is one of the most pedestrian Corvettes ever. I just built an LS2 engine for it and did a number of other updates including the transmission, suspension, interior, and a rear bumper conversion to the early C3 style. HOWEVER, the car still looks like it's straight out of 1975. I would LOVE to see what you could do to modernize the look of the car. I'm a Corvette dude, but I'm not a "stock" guy at all. Please inspire me with a sketch of a modernized 1975 Corvette. Thank you sir!
Your effort has truly paid off. It's beautiful! The only possible improvement would be to make that rear pillar less thick to provide better visibility.
You should sell you works that you do. These re-designs of cars are so great and detailed. By putting your own twist on the design, it makes it one of a kind.
I noticed that a few videos ago there was a lot of negative feedback on the latest uploads and it looks like you listened to the criticism. After dropping the ball, you picked it right back up. That is something I really, really admire, the fact that you noticeably improved in such a short period of time. This is one of the best redesigns you've done. Keep it up!! :)
By far the best work I've seen from your channel. I love the headlights. Very modern and a great addition to this classic car. Like how you kept the original shape too. Great stuff my dude 👍🏻
Whenever I see a great channel like this but still isnt famous reminds me of mine . You sir have my full support . Love the drawings , keep up the good work
*Try to modernize the Apollo intensa emizone.* *Its perfect as is but i wanna see what you can create if it wasnt a hypercar but just a modern supercar.*
that turned out awesome gm should bring it back like that.. awesome job sketchmonkey.. i would like to see 1967-71 chevy c10 redone by you. enjoy your videos
i was contemplating subscribing at first then you said modern cars have no soul and I've never agreed more, you've earned yourself a new subscriber friend
Thank you so much for your wonderful design work. Watching your videos after a rough day can really put a smile back on my face 😃 I know you like unusual car designs... so, how about updating the Fiat Coupe?! I'd love to see what you would do to it, and how you would update that interesting and quirky shape 😎👍👋🤞
That really was a fantastic redesign of a 1967 Corvette Stingray is one of favorite one ☝️ I love watching your redesign video are fantastic! I would love to see a redesign Jensen Interceptor or 1984 Dodge Daytona redesign would be interesting!
Hot Wheels just released a Fast and Furious collection of JDM cars with the liveries of the modern models from the movies and they used exactly the same "former self" idea, but in reverse, since the reflections are the actual modern cars. One of the best redesigns on your channel. Congrats.
Holy shit!! At first when you made the frontbump lights, I thought; dude, you're gonna ruin it, but that front!! OMG! Totally awesome! They should actually build this!
*Redesign the Lancia Delta HF Evo 2 please !* Might be a good idea To see it with a 2019 modern touch ! (Leds, sweeping Lines) while keeping its Rally heritage features
Wow...this is one of my favorite redesigns...it looks great! May I suggest that you remove the vent windows from older models since they no longer exist on cars? Keep em coming.
A++++++! This redo is absolutely beautiful! But, it's what you said about old vs. new car designs that really drive the point of this redesign home. I wish car company executives would watch and listen to videos from you and those like you much much more! Maybe then SUVs and Crossovers wouldn't be dominating the market the way they do nowadays. Soul. That's what missing from new car designs. 🚗! 🐰
Car companies need to hire you for redesign. Your designs make so much more sense. I think like you said the car companies want to be safe but man does this look good. My only disagreement is with that side exhaust. I think they are a big part of the look and could have also been done in black with a more modern design but hey you gotta do what you think looks best. I still think you did an awesome job as usual.
Nice! Would still love to see a modern redesign of the FJ Cruiser. Like a design as if they had gone in to make a second generation of FJ that was still just as off-road capable as the first gen., yet still paids homage to the classic FJ40 Land Cruiser.
Yeah you did a great job on that one SM , l woukd've still liked to have seen the rear windscreen though, l think that's what makes the C2 Stingray so iconic, the way it wraps around at the back , but l love the front treatment you've done 👍
I'd like to see you update a 72' plymouth GTX. I really love the front grille on those and the fender flares, so im curious what it would look like today.
The 64 to 67 Corvette is one of the best looking American cars ever made. The Problem? As soon as it hit 100 m.p.h., it literally flew off the road! I still want one...
Arekkusu this is Photoshop not Photochop... don’t worry there are plenty of those C2 that have been hacked, but not into anything as well done as this.
I really liked the transformation. The only item I wouldn't want incorporated into the design was eliminating the rear window wrapping over the side of the sail panel. I've driven Camaros of the 1970 to 1981 generation and that wrapping over the sides makes a huge difference when you have to back the car. Obviously, we have backup cameras now, but even they come with a disclaimer to not put full faith in what the camera sees. Still, this is awesome work!
Here’s a challenge from Sweden
Redesign the interior of any car.

Wow it’s so cool, I want this car in real life! It’s perfect
What you mentioned about cars having too much lines is so true, that’s why I like Porsche’s because they have simple lines.

You should re design the 1974 Datsun 240z or more formally known as the “Fairlady”
1974 was the 260z, 240z's were 1969-1973. 260z 1974. 280z 1975-1978.
