How do you feel about Winston drafting the arena cube for a video? I've been doing it with a friend on Draftmancer and it's great to have everything accessible on Arena to play on there.
Hopping on the green comments, it's overall not-very-good nature ends up making it super easy to splash. People in my drafts have been leaving it fully open so getting some fixing early on is a pretty reasonable speculation
Editing note, maybe camera in the bottom right corner with Ultimate Guard logo in the top right? Planeswalker loyalty is hard to see. Love some of these clowny alchemy cards.
57:45 It's so easy to play fast and loose on Arena. It's one of the reasons the UI bothers me. It's a little "too good." I lose a lot of games to the goofy auto-tapper and misclicking the wrong card. I like the jank UI in mtgo where you have to focus on every single interaction :D.
Is there a reason you don't display and organize your draft picks in Columns when drafting in Arena? I was watching your draft with Paul Cheon the other day and he does do it. I think it helps keep up with what the deck is looking like much easier!
Yeah, been forcing these cutthrote, spike, vintagecube-esque, low cmc decks, but most of the sevens came from temur ramp and bombs. Honorable mention, one lurrus trophy, which is, of course, my favourite 😊
I’ve had good luck with UW agro. There are a lot of good cheap agressive creatures in white and backing it up with flyers and bounce/counters is pretty good.
I think the new Kaito should be in your cube, that card is extremely strong. Duskmourn is one of the more powerful sets im a while, lots of strong cards.
