- As a professional motorcyclist and pleasure rider I spend hours in the saddle. I cover around 40,000 miles (65,000km) a year in all weathers so it's time to review some of the products I use.
This is my honest review of my new Cool Covers cover for the seat on my work FJR1300.

I’ve got one on my 701, no problems with boots dragging across it - seems pretty tough so far 👍🏽
@OSR that’s good to know, there could be one getting fitted soon 👍🏼.
Good honest review - good content 👌
Thanks mate…. I genuinely impressed with the cover. I now have one on my KTM . Half a dozen of my friends have invested in a cover since I made this.
Nice goldwing rear backrest
Sure is…. We’ve been fitting the pads to our bespoke racks for years.
What is it like for grip? As in does it stop you sliding around on the seat - looks like it does?
@jack becckett plenty of grip no slippage 😁
My seat is hard as rock after an hour, I have looked at these but can't see how it would ease the pressure points as it seems as though its not particularly padded. Maybe worth a go, certainly cheaper than getting a seat made up. Thanks for the review.
@@highestsprings I use one on my KTM now too.. the springy construction really does help.
If Kath hadn't banned me from riding, I'd buy one. OK. fair play, I have written off 3 bikes over the years, guess she what's me to stick around for a while. Onya Demon. JR
Only three Jon?! You’ve not been trying hard enough. I’ve lost count of the ones I have 😂…
I can't find the link to buy this item . the link you offer is for a go pro camera mount??
Hi thanks for letting me know. That’s strange, I’ll change that.
Here’s the link to their website www.coolcovers.co.uk
Excellent cheers ordered one can't wait
Your bum won’t be disappointed 🤣. I’ve now got one on my KTM.
How does it work with a heated seat?
Well the cover will work the same but you certainly won’t feel the heat from the seat.
