The L3 has been keeping me from starving to death for over a year. You can really beat the snot out of them too. I've been force-feeding 11.2 volts to six L3 boards with all the rear heatsinks added and am running them with the PLL set to 531 MHz. It's been like six weeks and my house has not burned down yet so
You’re great man, glad I stumbled across you. Liked. Subscribed. I’ll keep watching. Got into gpu mining myself this year, fun hobby. If I survive the transition to eth2 and find a profitable crypto to mine, I’ll double down in the mining. Cheers
Great content! I just recently discovered you too! I saw in one of your video's that you pre-ordered a L7, where did you do that? Also, you might consider mining helium for more passive income. The miners are relatively cheap and the return is probably 2-3 months. The two miners I know of are the bobcat miner and mndt miners. Keep up the great videos!
I actually have a Bobcat Helium miner on the way - but they have somethign like a 12 week wait, Im probably half way through that wait. I cancelled my L7 order, it was through Alibaba before the China ban. But Alibaba only has their trade assurance purchase protection for 30 days so I got scared that that company could just go out of business and keep my money.
This is the exact video I've been looking for. Thank goodness the algorithm finally worked for once. I just bought one on ebay at the beginning of the week. Stoked to try ASICs for the first time
You can have an electrician come and pull a new line out of your electric panel. You actually do have access to 240! There are basically two different 120 lines that come into your house/apartment, and when combined they make 240.
Very good info. I'd advise to be aware of buying these devices on Ebay. Many are sold intentionally without the power supply. They then offer to sell it to you separately
For the s19 j pro how about saving money on the pdu an have a dual c13 go straight to a 30 amp plug or 20 amp plug an have a 20 amp breaker since it will only draw 15-16 amps on 220 volt
Oh for sure, that’s a great power solution for these. But since I have 3 L3++’s also, I didn’t want to make EVEN MORE lines and plugs and each PDU is shared with one S19j and one L3++. But this need is rather specific, I should have pointed that out.
@SPACE DESIGN WAREHOUSE - Can you make a video - how to run these machines in United Kingdoms regular house? - Im scared to run those ones ASIC miners without proper knowledge about electricity - I don't want to burn my house down because of overloading home sockets. I believe that these ASICS are not just like regular GPU rigs that plug and run! There defintelly are needed some conversions in voltage or something else - IDN!
Definitely!! In fact, I’ve got a factory tour set up with the guys from engineeredfluids.com and I’ll be making that video on December 9th, getting my S19j pros immersion cooled!
can anybody please help me? how can you tell how many hours are spent on an AntMiner? Or how many has it left? Is there a tool utility or something like that? I`m asking because i`m planning on buying a used one.
I bought them from Alibaba before the ban.. I had no issues with any of them except that L3 virus, which I have a video on how to fix! Unfortunately we all need a new place to get these and I don’t have one settled just yet.
Well, that’s a complicated question. This miner is much less efficient than the L7 will be, but the chip shortage will make it EXTREMELY hard to get an L7 for the next year. Also they’re likely already online in “testing” since they’re supposed to be shipping already, and the difficulty hasn’t changed enough to make these unprofitable. So it’ll hurt, but it won’t kill the L3
I can't find a reputable place to buy an L3. The Sellers on Amazon and Egghead all have 1 or 0 sales so they look like scams. The ones that do have sales on Amazon or Egghead have ratings at the lowest ratings for sending the wrong item, sending an item that does not work. All shady risky stuff. Anyone know of a solid seller anywhere? ty
In fact I just made a video about that!! I drove across the country to meet and verify the identity and business credentials of MuskMiners Contact blake@muskminers.com and tell him I sent you, please! They can sort you out. Check out my second newest video if you want to see them
I’m fact I can!! I have personally driven up to visit these guys to confirm their validity. American company- email blake@muskminers.com and tell them you heard about them from space Design warehouse
For sure, they had an earnings call where Sumit pushed back the timeline a bit and that seems to have freaked out investors and there was a sell off. I suppose I could make a video about it. It would be pretty short though!
I think the chip shortage will help out a bit, making those extremely hard to buy.. And also I imagine they’ve been plugged in for “testing” as long as they’ve actually been done building them. I mean, why wouldn’t the company take some free profit before they ship them out- they really do need to be tested and if testing makes that much money, I’ll bet they’re already on the network. It will surely affect the difficulty, and I have no clue by how much. I hope I can get my hands on one!
Thanks for continuous great videos, I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in this space or probably just naïve, the sphere has seen far worse times than a few weeks ago, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dips and pumps even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I'd say that more emphasis should be put into trading since it is way profitable than hodling. Trading went smooth for me as I was able to earn over 2 BTC since I started implementing trades with signals and insights from Travis Neil. I would advise everyone to trade their asset rather than hodl for a future you aren't sure about.
I ended up with 4 S19j pros and 3 L3++’s. So far everything’s been running about a month problem free and they’re all going under full immersion cooling in a couple weeks!

I am considering it. I’m going to need to upgrade the line coming into the warehouse, though. I’ve used almost all of the available power from my panel!

Dude I love your content, but more importantly I can hear you crystal clear. Newer You Tubers don’t spend enough on their mics. Keep it up.
Thanks!! And yeah, I’m with you, sound is a big part of a presentation.. That an newer TH-camrs wasting a bunch of time between sentences.
One of the most practical mining video I have ever seen on TH-cam, very informative as well, thanks, I learned a lot
I'm glad it runs on 120v, my electrical system was installed in the 90s

You can use 15 amp receptacles on a 20 amp circuit as long as it’s not a single dedicated circuit or single receptacle
I got an L3+ and now I'm getting an L7.
Wild.
We have it available in stock where do you want it to be delivered
can you power up L3+ with server psu with breakout board ? :/
Interesting video. Please make sure to remember that you should never run more than 80% of a rated circuit for continuous duty. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! I am about to acquire one just to start mining.
Thanks for saving me from a argument over noise 👍

My L7 is coming from Muskminers in the US.
I checked and they seem legit.
Dyor.
@@rjward1775 I agree! I have two s19j pros on order from Musk Miners!
@@rjward1775 I’m actually driving up north to meet those folks in a couple weeks. I’ll have a video up about it

Excellent and easy to comprehend video. Wish you were doing this when I got into the game. Applause!!
Hey I’m Florida to what’s the best pool for l3+ right now

At what price?
I changed my fans to very quiet AAVID PSAD1A238BH 4600 RPM server fans. I use a 110v HP 1200w Server Power supply w/ breakout board.
Thank you for all the videos you've posted. I would like to buy an s19 but my power is 120v, can i use a stepup converter ?

Im new to your channel. Your content is well written and to the point. Nice job! Very informative! Thank you!
thanks for actually being informative :)
I just bought 200 of them to the US. The unit price is $370.☺

Yes, I now use muskminers.com. Tell them I sentcha
2 of my l3+ was bloow up couse i didnt filter the air that was coming in so guess what a big fly will do when the unit sucks it in :)

It's a bummer, the L3+ 504 Mh/S profits are way lower now than they used to be 😟 Maybe it will pick up in the future.
Awesome information. Thanks!
Keep the videos coming! Great Job!
Where did you buy your ASICS from? Any issues with shipping or quality

@@SPACEDESIGNWAREHOUSE I’ve seen them on alibaba as well but pricing and quality seem off and makes me uneasy.
How much of an impact do you think the L7s will have on the profitability of this miner?

I’m still a little bit confused about whether or not I can connect a L3+ to a regular 120v outlet and it will work? Can some one help me out?
Yes, you can, and yes, it will!
U need to be rich to buy asiic miners... the things take about a year to pay off sure I have 5k to 20k just laying around
Great video!
I don’t own any ASICS yet but I know they are loud and very power-hungry

So a $1500 800w miner makes around the same as one $2000 3080 230w gpu. Hmm
That’s about right, but LiteCoin mining is never going away!
not the best move to buy several really expensive miners. these things do break... a lot... ur better off going all L3 instead of 1 L7
