I’ve become a fan of the Yo-Zuri stuff... got good colors, seem to be made with decent hardware and cost half the price of the megabass so if I snag some cuz I will, I’m not too bummed.
the 1/4oz floating yozuri 3d crystal minnow is a killer bro. I love throwing those trolling shallow water on the shoreline casting at rocks and laydowns.
How about old school. Rap S11 does it for me here in south-central Michigan. True floater, shake and dimple the surface with it and they have to kill it. Price is right too.
Have found that in colder waters during late fall & winter the plastic lip on the 110s get very brittle and will snap off easily if the lure makes contact with rocks and pylons.
That's not a cold water exclusive thing, the lips on the 110 are very thin to give it the famous 110 action. The downside of course is they do not like contact with hard objects. Try the Jackall RV minnow or the GanCraft Rest around rocks and hard structure - I think you'd like them!
This is the reason I won’t buy them any longer. Way to expensive to break. I have broken the lips off many 20$ mega bass. I hav had lucky craft pointers that have held up to giant pike for almost 15 years and they still work amazing. A much more durable product IMO

I’ll have to try the RV-Minnow 110, since I love the rerange so much. Any quick comparisons between the Rerange and the RV-minnow 110?

Best jerkbait is the one you use the most. Probably catches the most. If its rapala megabass or lucky craft. Most manufactors are trying to catch the fishermen.

Never used Megabass before. But if you have to use Megbass ITO 110 for striped bass in saltwater for 20lbs+ fish, what hook/split should you replace so that it still has same action?

I felt Matte colors would be better on calm blue skies day because it’s not as bold and shiny. Would you feel the same why or why not.

Of course it depends on the water clarity too. Would matte be better in dingy water with 2-3 ft off clarity or go with something with a shine.
