- Everything before 8:40 is some equipment checks and farming pre-battle TP for the Ares fight. After that, he finally goes down after a war of attrition.
Lao ejects from the defeated Ares. Elma prepares to shoot him down though he notes the possibility of her destroying the data. Lin (and I) stand in front of Lao, saying she shares his pain of losing a family. Moved by her words, Lao gives Lin the data and wishes to remain in exile for his betrayal. Elma and Lin say they have to return to NLA to get the data decoded, and tell the fatigued Lao they're sending medical support to escort him. The team returns to NLA and gives Vandham the data. Vandham objects to helping Lao the traitor, but reluctantly accepts after Elma sympathizes with Lao noting the situation overall has caused many in BLADE to become desperate and self-destructive. The data has to be decoded which will probably be followed up on in the next few uploads probably.
