I was a bit miffed when they opened the pre-orders for Covert Ops Condor, the entire server went down and my scheduled work break was long over before he came back up and sold out (same with Warpath too). Thankfully, they put him back up and I was finally able to use my points. He came in a couple of days ago, but I think I will keep him minty-fresh in the box for now. Too bad it didn't have a window to display him. As a side note, I find it amusing that Hasbro sort of rides the coattails of Bobby's releases. Valaverse announced this Condor many months before Hasbro announced Chuckles. I find that it is no coincidence that Covert Ops Condor is Valaverse's Chuckles. :)
Thankfully dodgy servers aside there seems to be plenty of stock. It is funny how quickly Chuckles got rolled out after this hit the market. Thankfully for us collectors a bit of healthy competition is really driving both lines.
Yeah its a killer. Now I did know it would be that so I was willing to take it on the chin but it is starting to make me think how much longer I can keep importing them.
I feel your pain......importing these guys sucks.....it's nowhere near as bad for me here on the west coast of Canada....the mainline figures are easy to get there are a few shops up here that carry Valaverse.....none near me most are back east so I'm still paying outrageous shipping.....it cost more to ship within Canada than it does to have something sent from Japan and it takes longer the post system here sucks but exclusives like this guy are tough to get and end up costing a fortune.....I ordered mine a little over a month ago and I suspect I won't see him till the end of this month but I do love the line and can't wait to get this guy the mail away experience reminds me of sending off for the gi joe manta as a kid....thanks for the review keep 'em coming
Funnily enough we are the same. Can get stuff from Japan within a week or so and slips passed the customs guys too! These guys are killing me as when I buy a single figure I am basically paying double. I do love them though.
Have to say the body is cool and the sending away the points is an awesome idea , but something about the this fella maybe it's the eyes is very off putting lol, great review dude once again !!
Cool looking figure Conor, love the funky Hawaiian shirt too. Great review as always, hope you can get those costs reduced too man, that must be tough on the wallet 😮
Thanks for watching pal. Yup the costs are going to be a lot to think about going forward. I love the line but without any distributor in EU or UK importing may not be viable.
At least you could move it on so hopefully not out of pocket on it. I think its a cool concept so have been enjoying swapping him into different scenarios for pics.
I respect your commitment to the line, both in terms of the cost & the fact you're now on a customs watch list! It's a shame local retailers can't make the economics of supplying Valaverse work. It'll be interesting to see with Jazwares (CoD), Marauder & Fresh Monkey Fiction all moving into 6" military how many make it into the UK/Europe. Still, cool looking figure & brings something a bit out of the ordinary to the line.
Initial images of those CoD figs were not great. Not sure If I will take the plunge. As for Action Force I don't know how much longer I can justify the shipping costs.
I think I might be in the minority because I think the mail-away was a terrible idea (even before all the International supply pain for us over here). Ironically: this is one of the few Valaverse figs I would have gone for. In any case - I’ll stop the grousing - thanks for the vicarious look through your wallet pain LOL 😉
Yeah, it sucks being a collector outside of the US. I'm in South Africa, which means all the figures I buy immediately cost me twice what they would a US collector, then add in international shipping...
I'm in England and I collect action figs on a budget so these are pricey for me. But he looks great. Reuse done well. Like Fuller's Figures said I'm not sure how undercover he is with a gun strapped to his leg in full view. 😁

Great review Conor 😀👍
Thank you Gerard I really appreciate that very much amigo.
Nice! Mine still MIB till I can score a second.
Hope you do and thanks for watching

Dang. Bit expensive. The gimmick of the mail away is a nice touch.

A first-rate review of Covert Ops Condor and his cool accessories!
Thanks Aaron really appreciate that. He is cool and it was fun sending off the points and waiting.
@@FullersFigures You're doing awesome work! 👍

It could have been better tbh. Soon as I got mine in the mail I put it up for sale. I wasn’t impressed enough to keep it.

What method did you use to post the points and how long did it take for them to get there?
Just general post and I got an email saying it was being shipped about a week later.

Ha ha it was fun to do the mail away and he is a pretty fun figure to mess about with. Cheers for watching pal.

Honestly the shipping and import customs is killing this line for me.
First! Do I win a prize? Great review brother!
My heart.... will that do?
I'll take it! 😍
it's chuckles lmao VV is such a parody of GI Joe and not a REAL IP.
What’s a real IP?
@@FullersFiguresI'm guessing Intellectual Property. I guess because he's aping Chuckles.
