It's only sad to me. The adventure is over, Midna leaves, Link still puts the Master Sword away, Link and Zelda STILL DON'T FREAKING KISS, and once again, Koji Kondo plays our hearts like a violin And trumpets... And a piano
Ever since I've finished the game, I cry everytime I hear this music. Brings back such good memories. The ending broke my heart. Twilight Princess is my all time favorite game.
Its been 10 years, I'm just curious.. Do you play the new Zelda's? Tears of the Kingdom, Breath of the Wild? Is Twilight Princess still your favorite game?
cant help but smile when i hear this. So many emotions, feelings, time, and dedication put into one game.....its truly amazing. Some of the best times of my life is spent playing twilight princess
4:19 That is the part where, if I didn’t know better, I would say that the music is thanking us for being such long time fans. So I say in return, thank you for imbuing in me such incredible memories that I will cherish forever.
I LOVE the piano at the start. It really captures the mood, and even though it sounds quite sad, its also happy in a way. The perfect end to the perfect adventure :')
So many memories and feels. I'm crying right now. I remember that this is my first Zelda game and I have so many adventure feeling on this game. When I finish the game, I feel glad and happy because I save Hyrule but at the same time, I feel sad and empty because the journey has ended. It is sad to see Link have to say goodbye to Midna. What an ending, it really touches my feeling. Best Zelda game to me, always.
I know.. I nearly cried when the game ended as-well, hearing the audio of the end credits, all of the music from hyrule slightly mixed together with a touch of the main theme, and amazing and beautiful orchestra, instant memories flood your mind.. it's an absolute beautiful game. I would absolutely replay the game.
+Alija Lavihusna Adhari I feel the same way, man. Link has to say goodbye to his companions most of the time, and it's great we saved Hyrule again, but that feeling when the journey is over... We need a freakin' sequel. One day, I just wanna see Link and all of his previous friends and current ones sitting down at a table and having lunch or something. I don't want Link to feel lonely
I love this ❤️ It gives you a mix of happy and sad emotions, you know, that feeling you get after completing a Zelda game. You feel happy because you feel like you've accomplished something very big, but at the same time your sad because it's over, you know? This song makes me cry everytime
This game, by far, is the most epic Zelda game in history. With so many surprises, this game is truly what defined the Zelda of today, rather than the Zelda of the past. The music adds to that feeling. A sad and emotional game at times, and also upholding its adventurous and action-packed story at others, this game will never be forgotten. My favorite Zelda game of all time. Along with Windwaker.
this just kills me because the band i'm in couldn't handle stuff like this without butchering it. this is just so beautiful. Zelda songs are like the things that make me want to play in band. this is just so beautiful and tear-jerking. i love you, Nintendo. ;-;
I cannot understand how some fans hate this game. Personally it's the second best. The best looking. Most bad ass story. I just beat this again like. 4 hours ago. And every time I beat it, it makes me want to cry. a journey complete. Over with. No words. Please Nintendo. Enough with the childish styling zelda games. Make them more like TLP.

Well now Breath of the Wild is the best looking, no doubt. But for a realistic Zelda game, the graphics were done well. And this used to be literally my favorite game. Now that award goes to, again, Breath of the Wild. But Twilight gets a shiny silver medal. Every other Zelda game gets a VERY shiny bronze medal
When I was in high school, I used to come home from school every day, fight Ganondorf real quick, then slap on my headphones to listen to this song. It still brings me peace, years later.
I just remembered City in the sky with the damn dragon and my hysteric screams "Oh, shit! It's a #$%&ing dragon!" "I'm going to die! I don't t want to die!" "Oh, god! Have mercy of me!" (Sorry for the vocabulary?)
From when Midna leaves to the ending, that has to be one of my favorites parts of the sone. It’s one of my favorites songs in video game music composition. The ending is the best in my opinion for any Zelda game. Absolutely… beautiful.
In the 'trailer' of Zelda u 2015 there is a sail cloth so it's highly likely it's a skyward sword sequel and NOT a Twilight Princess one... Shame too..
Absolutely love this piece, makes me want to cry every time. Some of the reasons are good, some probably aren't, but that doesn't matter. I love you Nintendo even though you've made some mistakes along the way, you're still awesome!!!
Nintendo has the power to change lives, with games like Twilight Princess, Super Mario Galaxy, and even some of the older ones for the N64, like DK64 or SM64. Cut the crap Nintendo, dont give us games like Super Mario 3D World, give us masterpieces like the ones that built our childhoods. Build the generation of todays lives with games that will make them cry when looking back, because you Nintendo, have the power to do so.
Games don't change lives. You do. People give artforms way too much credit. Yes there's beauty, even in terms of narrative. But beauty is not enough to change lives. That's what I learned over the years. If anything, the beauty of art tends to make you appreciate reality less.
I just beat the game for maybe the 3rd time. I started a world in 2020 or 2021, beat the first temple then didn't touch it until 2022, when I had the urge to beat it. I absolutely flew through the temples like I never did before, getting every heart piece along the way. I was caught at the very end where I had to finish getting the rest of the poe souls where I had 3 left, and I knew it was either give up and finish the game or I'll just do neither and drop the game for a while. So I let the man stay as gold and finished the game. As I sat on the couch, watching the credits, I didn't even cry. I love this game so very much it just brings me joy.
Wow I can't believe I've heard this theme several times but never noticed that 10:40 - 10:57 has similar notes/composition to Midna's Parting theme/the soundtrack that plays when Midna proceeds to destroy the Mirror of Twilight.
There is only one series of games which gives me shivers when listening to the music, and that is The Legend of Zelda. The best games of all time comes from The Legend of Zelda. I think all the Zelda games I've ever played are all in my top 10. And then I'm about console games.
Every time shit goes the way it should, with good and light on top, which is rare in the world btw, I'd play this song... Yup. Got an A on a test? This song. Parents had a good anniversary? this song. Anything outside of family and school, like elections, war, etc, rare. just rare. But that's why the song doesn't lose the "magic" right? I mean, look how long it takes to finish this game by playing 2 hours a day... ^_^
I just wish...that for this one time...they could've let one of Link's companions stay with him after he does his destined duty. I mean in close to all the games he loses them all like Navi, Fi, and most importantly, Midna
This music always makes me think of when I beat this game for my first time back in 2007...I have so many memories of playing this with my aunt and cousins and just by myself. I now beat it like 6 times total. But thinking back to even that long ago, I was half as old as I am now...it was a long time ago..almost 7 years... ;~;
It was driving me insane trying to figure out where I recognized the background strings and drums from. It's very similar to the theme that plays when Goku is climbing Korin Tower for the first time in Dragon Ball!
I watched my cousins play zelda when we were kids I got to try it because they had a nintendo 64. He would always play ocarina of time and I remembered the times he'd play it. Zelda is one of the main reasons I'm in band a lot of gamers are also band geeks like myself. I got OOT 3d for christmas of 2011 and it and a lot of other games such as TP and SS have inspired my love for band and music. Go nintendo! You did something right for once (Still pissed bout new leaf delays)
I do. I even shed a few tears :') This is a truly amazing game. The only people who are freaks of nature are people who don't like The Legend of Zelda games :P
COD, Halo they all can get a good spanking inspiration from this game. The problem solving, the actual usage of brain cells regardless of amount in this game, the freaking character development and ability to make choices, the second best part for me is how the story makes you feel that your planning alongside Midna to achieve a goal and the plan itself can have an effect on if the story continues or not, yeah you just nod your head and the plan is made before your eyes, but that idea of planning would make games a lot more fun cause brain cells would actually have shit to do. A game where planning isn't made in front of you so much like here but even better, you have to make the plan yourself or with AI of the game. Here, that would be Link actually having a more decisive presence in Midna's plan making and not just in execution. COD, Halo and other games would be a lot better with this constructive criticism. discovering places with treasures, an open world made of a compilation of maps or environments, and a adventurous story to boot that your not merely along for the ride like some video games I will leave nameless and movies and books. Romance alongside the action and adventure just makes it better ^_^ Star Wars the Old republic is on the right track but needs a lot of work. Halo Wars is on the right track but also needs a lot of work. Nothing to be ashamed of, unless the work isn't done story telling and interaction in games won't step up. Skyrim is also on the right track. I wonder how awesome would it be if a hybrid of SWTOR, Skyrim, Halo Wars and this game was made...... Wow.... THAT would be a best seller for not just the year but for many years to come.... Wow....
I remember playing this game ALL the time, and watching an old DVD 📀 of the movies "Antz", and "The Incredibles" (as well as a bootleg of Michael Bay's Transformers.. lol..) on repeat over 100 times when I was a child in middle school. We had no cable in my Grandmother's house, and my mother had given away ALL of my toys to Charity (that gave me incentive to work hard, behave like a gentleman, and do my best in school for), and left my PlayStation 1 (With a copy of "Spider-Man", the Crash Bandicoot trilogy, and Megaman X4 , 5, and 6) by my Stepfather's house (A man that didn't give a damn about me enough to ensure I was fed after I came home from school, to which I sat patiently waiting for my mother to come home EVERY day like a starving hound, and became EXTREMELY malnourished as consequence...). People are often BAMBOOZLED today as to why I'm so strong mentally, and why I am able to take so much crap and abuse on the chin from people, and not give a damn in the slightest (Even going as far to essentially kidnap me from my house in broad daylight SEVERAL times to which none of my neighbors batted an eye... And study me like a damned Lab Rat...), and the reason being is that I KNOW Pain, Exile, Betrayal, Belittlement, Harassment, Sexism, and PREJUDICE just as much if not GREATER than the majority of self entitled Pricks, H*es, and Harlot's that what walk this Earth, let ALONE This country's roads, and City streets, much like Link does in the Legend of Zelda series... I relate SO much to Link, the main difference being that, I was "mute" by choice. I found freedom and peace within my own thoughts , and ONLY chose to HUMBLY express them through drawings, as well as Writing (that I did not Excell at at first BTW...), which helped my creativity blossom, and got me to face resentment, and maliciousness from my peers.. I never envied Link as a Character (Despite him being Ludicrously attractive to Females lol...🤦🏿♂️😅) as I knew the moral responsibilities of being chosen by prophecy to defend your home away from home, let alone the only friend's and family you've known, despite them treating you like a "black sheep/ goat in the heard" your entire life, and ONLY acknowledging you when they see you thriving or enjoying your brief pockets of happiness, which taints them with Envy, HATRED, and resentment for someone they do not TRULY know or have ever CARED to get to know personally... I know he is a fictional character, but Link is my Hero, "The Hero Of Time", and he got me through one of the many difficult phases of my life, as none of the friends I had in middle school knew that I didn't have cable, and were NEVER curious as to why I didn't know what they saw on TV the previous night when they discussed it at school.. I've shouldered SO much HATRED for the human race as a WHOLE because of the HELL they have put me through, whenever I try to roam free like a horse in a field, instead of one broken in a stable trapped in bondage, but Heroes like Link, (and his Heroic Anthem) whether they be Real or Fictional have always given me Hope, the STRENGTH, and the WILL to keep fighting the good fight.💪🏿 #TheLegendOfZelda🔺 #TheHeroOfTime 🔺🔺 #SwordOfEvilsBane✨🗡️✨ #HylianShield✨🛡️✨ #BuffaloSoldier🦬⚡🪖 #HeroicMasculinity💪🏿🦸🏿♂️ #TalkNoJutsu🍥 #Dattebayo🌀 #YouHaveTheAbilityToOvercomeAGreatFear ☄️🟢💍 #BewareMyPower✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽✊🏼✊🏻🟢💍✳️ #ThePowerIsYours🌐 #42🧢⚾ #24🧠🖤🐍 #43🙅🏿♂️ #32✨#23⛹🏿♂️💨🤾🏿♂️ #6🦁👑 #10⚽🥅🏟️ #12🦬⚡🪖 #BeGreaterBeYourself🕷️✌🏿 #YesMySpiderLord 👋🏿🥴😚😊☺️♀️..........😳😅🤷🏿♂️ #Ad✝️

I've shouldered SO much HATRED for the human race as a WHOLE because of the HELL they have put me through, whenever I try to roam free like a horse in a field, instead of one broken in a stable trapped in bondage, but Heroes like Link, (and his Heroic Anthem) whether they be Real or Fictional have always given me Hope, the STRENGTH, and the WILL to keep fighting the good fight.💪🏿
