When I got Monty as a 7-week-old Dalmatian puppy, I decided I wanted to document his puppyhood. I started the 1 Second Everyday project (1SE) while I watched Monty grow from a tiny puppy into a 50 pound Dalmatian dog. It's really fun to see his spots develop and grow.

Our Dal ended up being deaf. It’s a bit of a challenge training her but she is too flipping cute 🥰 !

Omggg I'm so glad this came up on my feed! Reminded me of my dalmatian that I has for 15 years as a kid, his name was lucky and he was the bestest friend. I wish I could hug him one more time.

As a very kid i got a mascot dalmatian. I loved it so much i slept with it to age like of 13. I always took it with me during longer than a one day trips. I cared for him so much. And few years later, the fate somehow gave me one of these. I didnt want a dog at first as its a big responsibility. My uncle rescued one from his trip on Cuba. There were 10 puppies, not for sale, and one of them couldnt find a new home (they all went to my uncles friends - trusted people with homes with gardens living outside the city so he can see them sometimes). So one time my uncle appeared with her, and my whole familly fell in love with her. Now 12 years passes, there were ups and almost no downs. I remember first walks and stuff, she hate water - swimming, rain, shower.
What are the odds, that a kid with a dalmatian toy get one real while not even trying?

@@domeqdomeq9687 That is such a cool story! They are really a special breed. I’m showing my age a little bit, but when I was a kid I watched 101 Dalmatians so many times the VHS wore out so my parents had to replace it… twice. 😆

Once you have a Dalmatian, you always will have a Dalmatian! I am on my second one and this sure brings back memories from their puppy days. My Dalmatians watched TV (particularly Animal Planet or Nat Geo Wild)too. One of the most intelligent dogs on this planet with incredible amount of energy and their own set of schedule.

i swear dalmatians are more like humans. mine a beautiful little girl and behaves like monty here. she's just turned 10 months, i got her when she was a month old. i got her from a pet shop, and honestly i know there will be a lot of people saying how wrong it is. i know its better to adopt, but where i live shelters are very very scarce and often the dogs are not very healthy. i can say this much also that i rescued my little girl, because the way she was kept and how underweight she was at the time was as good as her being emaciated. at the age of 27 days she was separated from her mother and had been sitting in a small pet shop cage waiting to be taken home, and finally when we came just to ask the owner what breed would be good for our situation, this little girl looked into our souls and asked to be saved, and thats what we did. we brought her home at 12 in the night on a cold winter night. i love her to death.
Don't let anyone judge you for buying your pup! Store pups deserve love too! It's not their fault they were put in a shop window!

But sadly she's epileptic and the fact that your comment came in the moment she was having a seizure has warmed my heart. She's been having them for a few months now even with medication and I've seen worse many times but it still gets to me.

i also have a puppy dalmatian but idk how to make him pee and poop outside the house, do you have any tips?
We put up a bell by the door and our Fin learned to hit it when she needs to go. Sometimes she’ll just hit it to go outside but either way she won’t potty inside
