@@SchaafGreetings from the USA. I honestly didn’t know that GoPro footage in 2020 could be so stable. You’re not only an excellent rider but you really mastered the GoPro as well. I’m looking to do something similar on my Honda Gold Wing (it won’t be as exciting as yours) because it has excellent exhaust notes. There was absolutely NO WIND noise. I hope that ppl realize that you made the perfect video & did so at a time when it was much harder than even 4 years later. Did you mount a microphone near the exhaust? Thank you & congrats on a beautiful video.
I love this guy, he's like a calmer Wristy; it's just all about the scenic routes, the wind blowing at your face, and the pure, rich sound of the engine as it revs.
I had the pleasure of test riding one of these once, they're so good! I immediately felt comfortable enough to do fast paced corners while still being comfy as hell. Dreambike.
5:00 I respect both driver and rider. Driver didn’t show turning signal for a while due to unclear risk at curve, but just after clearing the driver showed signal. Rider also made shift-up quickly to reduce exhaust sound near the car. Both know a smart way.
Also ich weiß jetzt nicht, wievielmal ich mir dieses Video angesehen habe. Du fährst im 2. Gang mit 110 durch die Landschaft und im 6. Gang mit 40 durch die Stadt. Das Motorrad ist der Hammer. Danke!

You don't have to worry about people judging bad on your riding lines anymore. This video answers to all those who just "talk" about line riding etc. Brilliant work !
Just wanted to comment about this bike’s engine: for an inline 4, it’s really torquey at low revs. That honestly makes a great street riding feature because it means less downshifting to get into the torque. You can be cruising at 50MPH in 5th gear and have useable power, or 75MPH in 6th, roll on the throttle and be at 115 in about 2 seconds. Makes for an awesome highway machine! Ergonomics are honestly the perfect compromise between upright and tuck (for me, at 5’8”), it’s a comfortable sporty position, and you get a full fairing. Before I bought mine, I thought this bike was going to look kind of huge (comparing it to a superbike), but it really doesn’t. Just a little bit taller in the front, and heavier, but still looks and feels like a sportbike in person. The quickshifter seems amazing in this video; my ‘19 didn’t come with one. To me, it’s pretty much my dream machine, and it blows my mind that this bike isn’t a little more widely recognized and appreciated, but I’m okay with riding something a little less common. Anyway, that’s my take on it, I hope you enjoyed the novel💨 Edit: I should also say this is a great video, thanks to the creator.
I had the 2018 Z1000SX for one year and four months, made 34000 km with it and traveled in 8 countries. Excellent video. I have a new one of these coming in a day or so and been watching a few videos in anticipation. This one gave me the best sense of what I've got to look forward to. What a fabulous road it was, nice mix of bends, mostly good surface and with very little traffic. Really appreciated the way you rode that section. You were very fast but within a good safety margin. Smooth, controlled lines that didn't come over as if you thought you were on a track, but still on it enough to get the blood pumping. Nice job.

Oh I enjoyed this. Loved the sights and the sound, particularly when the throttle was opened wide and the revs rose high the first time. It was like I was back on my Suzuki GS750 on some certain roads that shall remain nameless, in New South Wales, Australia, back in the early 1980s. Sigh. I had to sell the bike and stop riding altogether when I developed a repetitive strain injury in my right elbow, making controlling the throttle while riding a real pain, even though I still loved it. The riding that is, not the pain. This Ninja 1000sx is a real temptress - particularly as its cruise control would possibly help me to avoid a recurrence of the dreaded RSI, but not so much on roads like this. Thank you!

I rode this bike recently. I agree on the sterility of those engines (compared to my R-Nine-T), inline 4's are smooth, but a bit too 'clean' for me. On the other hand, the Kawa is a quality bike, well-built, good fuelling, and rock-solid. Felt really good, except for the fact that I'm used to pre-tensioning the gearbox, which made the quickshifter surprise me several times by banging in the next gear. And that metallic green paint in the sun!
Great Video Schaaf! Can't wait to bring my Ninja 1000 back on the road after being in lockdown. Inspiration to get back! Oh and... that pannier hiding... hilarious ^^
I have a lot of respect for these...a proper sports-tourer. This or an R1250RS? If anyone finds any bike or camera gear in the bushes next to an awesome bit of road...wait ten minutes and Schaaf will be there 👍

Thanks
Hey Schaaf, you truly ride different after your crash. This is really comparable to mine, more “spare” and still fast! Enjoyed this vid mate. Cheers and ride safe. Btw this bike rocks doesn’t it?
thanks man. It does!
Top quality content as always !!! Loved it.
Thanks
where is this beauty scenery road ❤
Love that hello brother at 2:38
Great vid as always, thanks. It sounds pretty good for the standard can.
thanks
Stock sound is always the better sound!
thanks
Dank dir :)
This is so satisfying to watch
thanks
Looks like a great Bike. I was thinking about this before buying my MTS1200S, Z1000SX is definitely one of my favourite bikes in the market right now.
yea!
@@Schaaf 4 years later here i am, thinking about replacing my Ducati with this BEAUTY
Well said!
That certainly sounds like a Kawasaki! Screeeeaaaam!
Yesss
Great Video Schaaf! Can't wait to bring my Ninja 1000 back on the road after being in lockdown.
Inspiration to get back! Oh and... that pannier hiding... hilarious ^^
Thanks man! Enjoy your SX!
Hey there... awsmmmmmmm video ... how’s the quick shifter specially the downshifts?..thanks🙌
It's good
Another great video from Schaaf!
Thanks
I have a lot of respect for these...a proper sports-tourer. This or an R1250RS?
If anyone finds any bike or camera gear in the bushes next to an awesome bit of road...wait ten minutes and Schaaf will be there 👍
Hahaha
I have a 2015 Ninja 1000 and the 2020 BMW 1250RS both are awesome bikes.
Krass, wusste gar nicht, dass die Kawas jetzt auch schon nen Blipper haben. Nice!
Jawohl!
I like your style! lol
One of my favourite bike on line.
cool!
