    Stressful hoping timing is right. Glad chains were marked better than components.

    I have a 2018 Passat 2.0. With vvt on both cams. Haven't found a video yet. This car has chronic and sensor problems. All 4 plus 1 new one have been replaced under warranty.

      Note I meant abs sensors. Hard to hit the correct letters on cell phone.

    I'm starting to think a timing belt is not such a bad thing as it is much easier to change and those chains are failing nearly at the service life of a belt.

      I agree. It used to be that chains would last the life of the engine but not so. I believe its due to oil contamination and extended oil change intervals.

      Not a 🇯🇵 car bud you need to care of it oil changes at 5k or 6 months full sintethic oils and oem filters (not Walmart garbage )premium gas and no issues at all thats the way for good German machine
