- IS THIS THE PHILIPPINES MOST BEAUTIFUL TOWN?
Well, Taal Batangas certainly is one of them! And in this video, we explore the church, market, and a little bit of the beautiful heritage that you can find in this part of Luzon. I first came here back in 2014, and am so happy to be back on my motor! Taal really is a historic part of Batangas and the Philippines... you can see it in the buildings. I love how they keep the place so clean and organized. Not to mention, the vibes of the locals is awesome!
If you visit this town, make sure you go to the market. It is full of so many delicious things! Oh, and the beef tapa is a must!!
In this BecomingFilipino motor vlog... we also check out Taal Lake. It is the first time I have driven around the lake since the volcano erupted.
The Philippines is full of beautiful towns...

Personally, I think this is one of the most beautiful towns in the Philippines. Just so beautiful, such wonderful vibes, and the market is AMAZING!

I have passed by Taal Batangas in one of my field audits and it is really an awesome town with its church, the biggest in Asia and the old Spanish houses not to mention its world famous barong.
Taal is a beautiful town! I remember reading once that Bulkang Taal is one of the lowest volcanoes in the world. Over the last two hundred years it has had a number of dangerous eruptions. Ingat ka Kulas sa iyong pagbalik sa Maynila!
Well, you did it for me!! I am all over the map with where to retire. My girlfriend lives in Cavite and I have considered Dumaguete and Iloilo and other places but now seeing Taal Batangas and because it would be close to where my girlfriend's family lives I think this is THE place for me. I have not looked into home rentals but that is next for me. I love your videos!! Thank you and I will keep you in my prayers and please keep me in yours. I am 72 and my life is starting over after two bad Filipina relationships. I must believe this might be my last try but I haven't given up. God bless and watch over you my friend.

My wife is from Masinloc, Zambales, Luzon and we went there for her family's reunion, held during 2016 Christmas holidays. On the way from Manilla, we took a quick detour to see Taal. We happened to visit there on the day that schools were letting out for Christmas, and smiling/laughing kids were everywhere. The church exterior stonework was very dirty and needed some repair but it was still amazingly beautiful as was, In your video, they've obviously gotten the stonework repaired and cleaned very nicely. There was a wedding on that day also. We too visited Galleria Taal and, being a photographer, I loved the photography museum upstairs, though I don't think the restaurant was there at the time. True! Very beautiful town!!

There are many more towns like this around the Philippines. I just hope that someday, these kind of places are shown internationally more, rather than the usual slums that we often see in the media or movies when it come to the Philippines.

Batangas is famous with kakanin or Filipino Pastries and Such a pretty Baroque Church! I love the Philippines every provinces has their own unique way of making Sausages or Longanisa.

I am very sorry Kulas you missed my Sister's Tamalis. You should come at around 4 or 5 am ;))) it will be difficult to buy after 8 onwards. It has been in the family for almost 50 years and the recipe was given to my father and he just made his trademark Pancit ni Mang Biko and tamales. Next time come a bit earlier. That little couryard looks like you are in Spain. I've been to Taal Volcano but this is the first I saw that historic town so beautiful. Wonderful to see the historic buildings especially the Church. I've been there once, when i was 18yrs old, I joined my father's company outing. Went to the church and swim to the beach. I'm already 44yrs old now and I wish can visit Taal Batangas again.

Lake Taal was lovely ... I have been a few times back in 2007 and 2010... I wish I knew about Taal Batangas back then... That would have been nice to see!... I only got to Tagaytay...but it was nice as well

Rich people live in Taal. Taal used to be the capital of Taal province, now the modern day Batangas. Usually the ones that are connected to the ocean were the first to flourish due to the trade. It is also connected to Taal Lake.

i climbed the belfry once so nice view. you missed climbing the mount macolot in cuenca its rockies is amazing. anyway on your climb to Tagaytay enjoy the view and breath of fresh air. Taal is also a most historical and well-preserved town, perhaps next to Vigan. The families from there have been a part of our political and social history. Read up a bit Kulas you may be a bit surprised. There is more than just sites and food.

Been there many a times. Hope you went up the mountain to the white church bro. 👍 Not that one but the one up the mountain it's not easy to get to but can be done on the bike. It's near the side of the lake so hopefully you went up there as it would be a shame and a waste of a trip if not.
