- KUMAR HAD HIS FIRST VEGETABLE HARVEST AT OUR PHILIPPINES BEACH HOME IN CATEEL...
I woke up and noticed the petchay was looking all good. Kumar decided to harvest it, and we started applying a new mixture to the raised soil beds. After a little bit of gardening, I headed over to hangout with Mama Rose. She has been rocking a lot of painting lately at her beach resort. We always share some fun and insightful life conversations. Positive vibes! From there, it is just another Province beach life day in Davao Mindanao. Although I did stumble upon a sea snake while jogging on the beach! Yikes! I hope it survived putting it back in the ocean.

Yes, fish buried in the holes before planting anything will give you a great yield. Proof: from 1621 in Massachusetts, Squanto, a native American , helped the Pilgrims plant squash, corn and beans. I love how Kumar and the gang are making that place such a lush area full of trees, plants and flowers.

I remember my first 'marriage seminar' here in the Philippines. It was somewhat embarrassing as I was 72 at the time, being sat amongst all these youngsters 😅 getting marriage guidance 🤣, but it was a good experience.

ahhhh,the philippines...You have everything there to grow abundance of food.I don't understand why it isn't done everywhere there.My wife in ILOILO is now growing more veggies,coz i showed her how...tropical climate,where you have access to coconut coir,any and all leaves for mulch,fish waste,and one of the best for growing stuff...seaweeds.banana peels,organic food wastes..and so on...volcanic based dirts,biochar..endless supply of matter...peace

You have to wait 10 days after you get your marriage certificate before the wedding. Day one starts the day after the certificate is issued. We messed up our wedding plans by one day because of that rule. Had to move the wedding by one day.

My wife Yana and I did family planning appointment in Caloocan and everyone was staring at the only "Welsh Man" (Me) in the room. To me it was a recap of what we learnt when I was in school and I realised they don't teach it in schools in the Philippines.

Hi Kulas I love how you guys preparing the vegetable garden. I really want to have a vegetable garden. The problem is my chickens and turkeys are free range. So the vegetables are in danger of being eaten by the birds
I didn't know about how the way cassava is grown influences how poisonous it before Kumar mentioned it.
That dead seasnake that you encountered on the beach is called the Banded Sea Krait is probably what comes to mind when someone mentions Sea Snake. True they are highly venomous, but from what I read and from what herpetologists/wildlife experts say on documentaries, they are very reluctant to bite and some have even handled them without the snake getting aggressive and stayed docile, although it is still advisable not to handle them though if one does not know what they're doing. Understable perhaps as to why they are reluctant to bite since they don't want to waste their venom on things that aren't prey, like how some venomous snakes and archnids will do a what's called a Dry Bite without injecting any venom when push comes to shove.
I see you have become the next Chicken Whisperer after Kumar haha but those are the most docile Bantams I have ever seen though. Those are generally kept as pets, but there are some breeds that are dual-purpose breeds like the Cornish that are kept as pets or as food.

Me and my wife had a civil wedding as the churches wouldn't marry us, as I am Church of England and not Catholic. You still have to do the seminars, however my wife's Matron of Honour was the lady who arranged the seminars, in Batangas Town Hall, and we got issued the certificates for the cost of a few wedding guest souvenirs. Naughty but had to be done.

Long-term, no, because the tire rubber will slowly biodegrade and release zinc, carcinogenic PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons) and other toxic compounds into your garden soil
