- Recently there have been some pretty major storms hitting the coast of the Pacific Northwest. This is one of the best times of the year to go and hunt for some rocks!
I got extremely lucky and hit gold so to speak. Amazing day hunting. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
You don’t need a rock saw, just a Dremel and a few diamond coated cutting wheels.... oh! And some water (so u don’t destroy your cutting wheels on the first rock). I live in Washington as well and am always looking for new rock locations (mostly beach) , so thank you for the video. Always love seeing other rock hounders. Nice reminder that I’m not alone in the hunt for next awesome find. 😉
7:25 Carnelin agate. Beautiful 😊
Incredible rock hunting. i like the show.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Would love to learn more about the beach agates
the one at 5:00 looks like what some would call a jasp-agate or mix of jasper and agate. same mineral different opacity
You get as excited as I do when crystal hunting!! I like your video💙
I personally don't have a problem with the wind, considering that's what it sounds like when you are filming in the wind 😉, all's well with you video guys and gals, we get it. Reality TV 😜
Duddeee I wish you had more videos!
Looks like a great time thanks for the vid late. Amigo
gonna have to dig down about a foot into gravel pile ups tp get the big guys. nice finds.
What beach is this video from?
Nice
nice hunt! I'm from WA too and am guessing by the color of the agates that you're at DP? nevermind looks like DS based on the sunset!
nice videos lad keep it up shame about the wind noise apart from tht great vid
Wattsy rockhound uk I know right. I have other raw vids that I need to edit while quarantined. Better audio I promise
Any tips for the South Salish Sea area?
The wind
If you don't see banding then it's probably chalcedony
Including the so called moonstone probably chalcedony also
So stage
which beach was this?!
Hard to tell but maybe around Westport or Damon Point? Lots of good agates and pet wood the two times I’ve rockhounded there.
I found a massive Carnelian Agate near Westport a couple of years ago. It was gigantic! I called it a horcrux from Harry Potter. Lol
Not moonstones. Quartz. There aren't any moonstones on Pacific beaches. Moonstones are iridescent feldspars. These are quartz crystals that have been tumbled by the sea.
I’ve grown up in WA and your the first person I’ve ever heard say that there aren’t any moonstones on Pacific Coast Beaches?
