I have the same problem with my briggs outboard. Where did i get the fuel line with bulb and ends. Is there one fron another m as manufacturer i can use.
How do you adjust the lower unit shift linkage mine won’t shift out of foward unless I unbolt the motor it’s like the shaft is too long for neutral and reverse??? Some one help !!
@@lawrencewalraven5137 yes turns out it needed gear oil amongst other things. who ever owned it before didn’t take very good care of it. I fixed it up enough to sell and bought a new 6 hp hangki
Mine starts then I kick it into forward then give it a little gas then It shuts off my choke is also fully stuck. The wire is disconnected from the choke itself as well🤣 top cover is cracked to. People put a beating on it befor I got it
Shit mine didn’t start I have spark and fuel n compression wouldn’t start at all, I unplugged the rev limiter plug and it fired right up first pull, you can leave it unplugged don’t go max throttle if u don’t thinks it’s fast enough for ya little boat then u need a different engine

Why does the carburetor have those two small vent hoses and can I replace the carburetor with a non vented eBay carb?
some one should make a universal leg for lawnmower engines
my dad has one of these practically new. he hasn't used it yet. can he bypass the rev limiter? or is it not safe for the engine?
Not recommended on this engine because it could overrev during use and get damaged
I current have one does it not need a fuel filter my is having gas issues new hose but my marina but a filter on it .
Did you get it figured out? I just bought one that has inline fuel filter.

It is a common Briggs fuel pump. They use this same pump on many Briggs riding lawnmower engines

Gotcha! 👍🏼. Cause adjusting the linkage rod takes literally 1 minute
