I have all three of them and the 25cal is 550 ft per second with H&N 24.38 gn silver points . 450 fps with a 27.5 gn. I would use the lightest pellet that you can get within reason. Shim the rear scope ring under the scope with two layers of a soda bottle cut into shims . If you don't you will never be able to zero your scope properly and you would probably think it's messed up or something. I would definitely not use the rings that come with it. Blue loctite on all the screws including the screws that hold the stock to the action. I would recommend getting some scope rings that have two bands for each ring , you can get the Weaver quad locks at Walmart for 15 bucks they work good. And those cheap 3 by 9 barska scopes work just dandy for $40
I own the HATSAN STRIKER EDGE VORTEX .25 Cal . Hatsan probably does .25 caliber better than anyone else . I also own the Carnivore in .30 cal. They both love the Predator Polymag pellets.
I bought .22 refurbished directly from Hatsan for $49, minus scope. Wanted to use open sights anyway, and I like these Truglow, red front, green rear. I shoot JSB Diablo. Really like this air rifle.
My 25 caliber airtac shoots the hades fantastic the whole gun is AWSOME, I’ve got a optima red dot on mine and it’s damn accurate and it’s lite, now my 130 QE is like carrying a hand cannon around thank god the thing has a sling
The scope is meh, I do make some serious tight groupings with it out to 50 yards. I had to really torque it down and add a few drops of locktite. It’s kept it’s zero for months now though.
@@LowkeyAirgunner stay away from Umarex garbage. Also the hatsan gas rams always fail so get a coil spring version. My airtact is loud and powerful but accurate. If you want a smooth shooter try a crosman shockwave or benjamin prowler or an f4
@@dustinh4175 I prefer crosman springers! I got 4 of them break barrels and for the price crosman is great honestly Im still curious about other brands but last time I wanted to try (Gamo) I had nothing but problems (2/2 rifles broke and got replaced)
I own a .22 Hatsan break barrel and I loved it so much I bought this as soon as it was released in .25 . It's pretty badass for the money ! If your on the fence ......get it .....I'm ordering another one for my step son so he'll stop borrowing mine !

I got the .22 because its easier to find ammo and its cheaper. $99 on sale at big 5. Love it.

Ask your local Big5 to ship 25 cal pellets. They do sell them there.Some store only ship them in.

Yea the best mine fps mine got was 688 but my 130 QE 30 caliber hatsan it’s best fps was 620 but it really packs a punch
