    These explosive pellets are really cruel. If you hit someone with them, they might not die, but you'll definitely need a major surgery because of all the dirt they put in the wound. Otherwise, you'll get a nasty infection and blood poisoning.

    I just received one that I got delivered to my door with 600 pellets and shipping and taxes for less than a $140. It did have the optima scope included. I've only put a few shots down range so far ......man o man ! The rifle was only $99 for a .25 caliber pellet rifle I have no doubt will take down small to medium game squirrel and rabbits are not going to be a problem and that's outstanding ! This rifle actually kicks and is louder than any pellet rifle I've ever shot ! Here's the kicker ......I ordered 31 grain H&N hollow points which are a little heavy for a springer and the box says 750 fps which I'm sure is achieved using alloy pellets .......my first shot came out at a little over 850 fps for an estimated 49-51 fpe ! Upon further inspection ......the gun came with what appeared to be a generous amount of lubrication (appeared to be a opaque Vaseline like substance ) on the hinge by the breach ......I may have "accidentally" smeared a tad up to the pellet and that would account for a little diesel action. I didn't apply anymore and I'm still gettiing close to 700 fps with a 31 grain pellet ! How is this posible ? If they all perform like this Im going to buy 1 every month until I have a dozen ! I own many air guns from .177 old red riders and crossman 1322 (I still have one of these that's over a decade old and still functions like new ! Never even had to replace the seals yet after thousands of shots it still pumps up and works great ! ) To Hatsan springers and nitro piston .22 and .25 calibers and I won't be mentioning anything else but the Hatsan .25 airtact for a $99 including a scope has to be one of the best deals going ! If anyone knows of a better rifle at a better price I'd love to find out what is and the it out ! I don't think such an item exists though !

    I used some silicone spray on the pellets and had a performance increase in fps of about 20-25% more than without the spray. It's quite possible that there is also a Teflon spray version. Do not use oil based liquids etc. they destroy your seals and the oil residues become very sticky and resinous.

    I made some custom pellets for the .22 with 1inch finishing nails. It's basically the same concept as the skenco hyper-velocity pellets. It has a plastic skirt that surrounds the nail(protects the nail from scraping the rifling). The plastic itself was 3d printed and the finished look of the pellet with the nail looks like a small missile. It's pretty accurate for something homemade even at 40 yards. As for penetration, it will put the crosman red flights to shame. I guarantee if you were to try them, they will go through the ballistic gel from one end to the other. From my testings, they did go through 5mm thick steel at close range. I did use the Gamo Magnum .22.

      Yes sir! I too have a Corso, she a lot of beef! My grans hildren love her. She lets them walk all over her with not a single hint or pfff, humfff, or nothing. Easily trained and follows commands like a champ. We love her. However, with as big as she is, she is OWNED by our chihuahua. Funny as hell, we have a extra large dog pillow for our Corso, but it’s hilarious to see the little chihuahua right smack in the middle sleeping and won’t let the Corso on it. Poor thing! Little chihuahua takes no crap from no one & is not afraid to stand up to this dinosaur of a dog partner she has when they play. Hilarious to watch the two interact and play. The Corso can swallow her if she wants but shows deep respect to the little one. Great animal dynamics to observe.

    By the way, which of the most effective pellets were most expensive and which were cheaper?
    In your opinion was the difference in price worth the extra wound channel size or penetration?
    Have you actually killed any small game with these pellets? If so, did the increase in wound channel or penetration make any difference in how quickly and humanely the animal died?
    Thanks again for the excellent video.

      A brain shot will work with any accurate pellet. If you're determined to go vitals than you want the pellet that will expand the most. I love the crossman hollow points, round nose, and destroyer, so just choose which one is most accurate in your gun. Those ones are cheap too.
      My go to hunting setup is the hatsan 95 spring and crossman hollow points or ultra magnum (those are the round nose). I have taken raccoon, squirrel, rabbit, and rat with that. Just make sure to go with a side brain shot for raccoon though, otherwise you will just hurt him.

I would like to you to experiment with the fast flights BUT add a small drop of diesel oil OR vic vapour rub to the back of the pellet. When the compression of the air meets the oil it will ignite and cause a mini explosion, accelerating the pellets by about 30% to 40%.

    Just recently bought a gamo .177 rifle. It says not to shoot any other pellet other than gamo otherwise it can mess up the gun and void the warranty. I just ordered some crossman fast flights. Do you think they will cause damage to my rifle ?

    Sadly you can't really compare the .177 and .22 unless the rifles shoot the same power.. here in the UK 🇬🇧 we can only have 12ftlb unlicensed. And .177 nearly always penetrates further than .22 .... I would imagine your .177 is shooting about 18to 20ftlb and your .22 about 25 to 30 ftlb .. great video and nice to see you back

      @lethalgunner4903  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Thanks and yea that sucks only 12 fpe in the UK is it hard to get a license over there? actually my .177 is rated at 19 fpe and my .22 is rated at 21fpe so only 2fpe difference

    • @RaysTwoPence
      @RaysTwoPence 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@lethalgunner4903 in regards to licensing difficulty its weird so you have to have no criminal record and no metal health issues then you get your local firearms officer (from police) to visit your home to check they would be secure if he was to grant permission .. oh yea you also have to have a valid reason you want the license.. so shooting game over long ranges ect . you also need permission .(to take game on someones land )but thats another issue . . then once you done all that you can have a FAC licence in the uk .

      @@RaysTwoPence Low population sure helps as well I'm sure, also you guys don't have 6-7% of your population accounting for 37% of the murders and gun violence because they can't stop killing eachother
      By the way, how many knife attacks do you guys have per year?

    I appreciate you posting videos, I get my Elote with the kids and while they eat I get to have some dad time and watch you test out some pellets lol 😂 😎🙏✊💪
    This way you save me and all your subscribers tons of money 💰 and time from buying bunch of pellets to see which is best for our application.
    I own only PCP air rifles but I definitely want to get the gamo Magnum in 22 with the multi loader magazine, this way if I can’t put air in my rifles if I’m in the mountains camping 🏕, at least I have a trusty break barrel Pellet Rifle that can easily kill some rabbits 🐇 for dinner 🍽 time 😎

    Those exploding ones must be great for iguana removal?? 😅
    Iguana man from Florida use .177 😎
    Dunno if he had tryed those out.. But sometimes they need two shots to the head.. Would be more “Humane” with one lethal instant kill shot🤷🏼‍♂️ If they fit his riffle at all??

    Try testing and comparing all the HN pellets or jsbs for a good video, also do the same with slugs. That's what pple shoot Everyone knows all those budget brands on your table are the worse for accuracy which is what 95% of airgunners want way before penetration. You want a mushroom impact keeping knockdown power, you don't want str8 penetration were you pellets just goes thru and thru without mushroom.
