I bought the hatsan air tact break barrel in .25cal. Right out of the box with the iron sights I was on paper at 15 yards and within 5 shots had 2 bulls at 25 yards. Cover a group of 3 with a dime at 25 yards and then I sighted in the scope. I hit squirrels 1 shot 1 kill in the head at 25 yards every time. Have 1 opossum at 30 yards 1 shot 1 kill and an adult raccoon at about 23 yards (was slightly in front of my setup target at 25yards) on my homemade range using a Bushnell rangefinder off my deck. It does great by me. Best $110 I ever spent for an air rifle. This does the trick for me with 1 shot 1 kills every time. It is in the shot placement that matters most. Mine is accurate to my level of experienced Vietnam vet. Handled many firearms and own many more. Military and civilian. Have owned several air rifles and handguns. Gamo swarm magnum .22 choreographed at 1183fps, Gamo wildcat whisper .177 -1208fps chronographed, and hatsan airtact .25 choreographed at 778fps (faster than advertised speed of 750fps). These are a few break barrel air guns that I own. The hatsan is the hands down hardest hitter I have at 25 yards. I still like to plink using the gamo whisper .177 . I use the .22 gamo swarm magnum for squirrels and chipmunks. I use my hatsan airtact .25 for opossum, coons, bobcat, midsized small game. I am impressed at how accurate my hatsan came right out of the box. Have shot only about 100 pellets out of it so far with no misses since I sighted it in.
I was wondering if the .25 was as good as the .22. Thanks for comment. I would like more smack I have the .22 version. Got it for $50, as a refurb. I’m hitting bottle caps off bottle caps at about 15 yard with open sights. Thanks
This review is done so well it should be the example for most other videos of the genre. Thank you for showing the actual topic matter in close-up detail with lots of excellent information. It is refreshing to not have to sit through 90% totally irrelevant info and entire videos that never once even zoom in on the item in the title. Thank you for a really great review of a rifle I am considering.
I just did a unboxing and shooting video yesterday after picking up the ED EQ .25 caliber. So powerful that it blew through a frozen 3” thick can of ice.
I got a refurb from Hatsan in .22 for $50. Best deal yet. Really enjoy and at 35 feet- little over 10 yards, I’m almost 100% bullseye with open sights. Like to make quieter. Any easy to do mod ideas?
yeah mine came with a scope, I dialed it in to hit bullseyes from 30 yards. Then a week later I pick it up to shoot a squirrel, that was near my veggie garden, from about 20 yds and I miss. I then tried the target again and the scope was way off. Dial it in again, to where I am consistently shooting bullseyes. Now being very careful not to touch the scope. A few days later try it again and the scope is way off! Frustrating… guess I will just use the iron sites and toss the scope. Has anyone been successful in putting on a different scope?
Good review but it would’ve been better if you actually showed us how to use it. I just got one of these guns and I have zero idea on how to use it. The manual isn’t too detailed and I’m trying to watch TH-cam videos with the same exact gun on how to use it.
@@jasdipsagu3952 that guy is trippin. The airtact guns are a cheap no thrill airgun but it is powerful and reliable. I have shot roughly 1500 rounds and it's had no issues. My gamo swarm maxxim is far better but it was 150$ more so its not a fair comparison. I would recommend this gun if your just looking to shoot for a bit of fun.

Still holding up? I'm worried about the synthetic breach block in particular
I just shot a mouse with one that my cat got to put it out of its misery the .22 went clear though and took plenty innards with it

@Bayou Flats where did you get it for that price?
How did you kill a bobcat with air tact? Please let me know?

I've got one. The iron sight on the back is almost all the way to the right .But it shoots dead on. Solo cup bottom at 25 yards all day long.
Front sight may need to be adjusted to give more range of the rear one.
Excellent air rifle I have had for 3 years flawless and excellent.

If you have a 3d printer you may be able to print a replacement baffle
Your volume is low, thank you for your time and video.
Would Kris Kyle use this?
Good review, thank you
Could you tell me is the trigger on that Airtact metal or polymer?
What the difference between this Pd and the ED
What fps?
Can you review the PP750, there’s tons who like it. Even a FB group with close to 1k members who customise them like crazy.
Sure would be nice in all wood stock!
Hatsan 95
How do you remove the stock on this model
What's stock ?
does it come with vortex piston system or simple spring?
Spring
simple spring
The rifle is water 💧 resistant?
I bought one and the scope keeps falling off did you replace yours?
Always I just keep tightening it make sure the scope clamps are spaced well enough mine wasn’t and it moved my scope every shot

Do u need air tank?
No. It is a break barrel.
What's the length of the rifle
How much does it weigh? Saw on my local dealer they listed it at 2.5 pounds but I'm sure that's a typo.
5.7 pounds i’m pretty sure
Thanks.
Maybe 2.5 kilograms?
Is this the pd or qe
The best is break barrel -1983 man iron sight user

The trick to a springer is a loose grip. A tight grip will throw your shots off. Google the "artillery hold", should help...
I got that rife for Christmas
MUY BUEN RIFLE CALIDAD PRECIO.
I like it, for the price you can be rough with it 🤕
I'm thinking of getting the .177 (here in the states it's rated for 20ftlbs~27 joules) as a plinker and the .25 to hunt with
@@cc23001 Sweet, i have basically the same internals in my rifle and that's around 24foot pound 🙏🇬🇧
@@ianmangham4570 how is that? they are 12 lbs per Foot inyhr UK
@@antduke2361 They're only 12lbs if you don't have a F.A.C 🇬🇧
@@ianmangham4570 is it exactly the same gun though ? Like just reduced by less coils in the spring ?
More volume, can't hear you
1300 fps !!!!!
Realistically 950
Never go by the box. A lot of the time those numbers are pumped up and will only be seen when in the perfect conditions
850
Weihrauch any day of the week, it’s worth saving up and waiting that little bit longer for quality, rather than tat.
These are less than half the price and you don't mind throwing it around, HW you gotta look after it. 😊 Horses for courses
Weirauch quality isn't what it once was though.
@@scottdonaldson1973 I keep reading that, apparently they're no longer nicely finished
im sure it doesn’t come with quattro trigger, its probally trash
probably
@@umbuibui1its not a bad trigger the trigger itself is a little more curved than i prefer but the pull is predictable.
i had 2 [4.5 and 6.35] reeeel crap.
So is your spelling.
Just for anyone interested in buying this gun could you elaborate as to why it is "reeeel"! crap? Maybe a more useful input if you explain why.
I have a .22 airtact and I enjoy it alot. I use a gamo scope and it's pretty consistent grouping.
Why crap?
