    You can not continue to live like this in Ghana where rent prices are $1100-1500. It is this same standard of living that goes on in the west that makes people stressed and work all their lives chasing money and are never free. Please buy your own land outside of Accra, build your own house and grow your own food. You can always drive to the East Legon area for fun and enjoy the restaurants out there and come back. Life is so simple. We have allowed the media and the idea of living in certain places to blind us in living in stress and debt. Stay away from these if you can and build your own paradise.

      Are you sure it is that easy to build in the rural areas? There are issues with any strategy.

    • @addosolar537
      @addosolar537 ปีที่แล้ว

      It actually is a great deal because it is furnished. From what I can see from the location it is near everything.

      It all depends on individual choices, if one can afford it why not. There are Ghanaians in the diaspora who can afford luxury living depending on their income, there those who wants to live in the village and farm it’s a choice.

    $1,100 is insane ! Folks y’all must start building ya own houses in the rural areas where you get the chance to grow what you can eat, get a truck & drive to Accra to have ur fun anytime you want.

      Remember that in such a place the owner is taking care of back up water, back up electricity and security. In the West these are things that are taken for granted.

      It may not be in a safe area due to the security bars/gate on the windows, I’m NOT sure if u noticed that or not. 🤷🏽‍♀️

    • @addosolar537
      @addosolar537 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@makeblackcommunitiesgreata6496 That is a safe area. The catch is that lights out and water shortage is probably common and you have to figure out your own back up. That is why it is cheap.

    I wouldn't advise people to buy used electrical items here in Ghana... its dangerous. My friend brought a used AC and it caught fire 🔥, burning down her whole apartment. The government put out a warning a few years ago to stop buying used electrical items.

    They crack me up when they say they want it in US dollars! They think we’re coming over with a bag to spend!!! With the current economy here in Ghana, being in shambles, the average Ghanaian will struggle with these prices, big-time!!!!!

    • @Katarina23
      @Katarina23 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think this is for the diaspora. I doubt it is meant for the average earning ppl.

    • @brofutv1853
      @brofutv1853 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Furnished apartments are not the normal for the so-called "average Ghanaian", who rents for much less than this. Between $100.00 and $200.00 (1300-2600cedis) suffices for a two-bed room apartment for the working class Ghanaian.

  • @emmanuelsackor2751
    @emmanuelsackor2751 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    I don’t know how these people come up with their pricing. $95k and $185k. I don’t think it is for the average Ghanaian. Rent in Ghana higher than some places in the US.

    • @ghsheabutterblacksoap2846
      @ghsheabutterblacksoap2846 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think they want the average Ghanaian to stay back in the rural areas (the village, as we call it), so the big pocket people can live in Accra. The Accra rent in USD is ridiculous...
