How to directly experience “God” through MEDITATION (5 steps to Divine Bliss)

You have direct access to God within the depths of your being. You don’t need a church, or a pastor, or a priest, or a guru, or worship music, or prayer, or confession, or a “holy” book, or anything external to experience God. There are absolutely no mediators necessary because the divine is inherently within you. And not just within you, but one with you.
The question is, if God is within us and has always been within us, how do we “go within” and discover and experience what we have always had? The answer is meditation. Meditation is the method (not the mediator) that enables us to transcend the analytical, thinking mind and enter into the sacred stillness of our heart space. The sacred stillness of our heart space is the doorway to the divine presence within where the ego (sense of being a separate self) is dissipated, and we taste the undiluted reality of being-Divine Union (as the Christian Mystics call it). While this experience is ultimately ineffable, it’s been given many different names such as “God-Consciousness,” “Cosmic Consciousness,” “Samadhi,” “Satori,” or simply “Onening” as Julian of Norwich called it. Julian also said, “Between God and the soul, there is no in-between.”
When I first learned about this reality of “God” being within, I was astonished and amazed. I became obsessed with the notion of going within to discover God and Divine Union. I even wrote an entire book about it. But eventually, it became another doctrine for me, another theology-something else to believe in. The only problem with this was that I was tired of believing in this. I had gotten enough of that from my years in fundamentalism. At this point in my journey, I wanted knowing, not belief. I wanted experiential knowledge, not intellectual knowledge. And this is when I became interested in meditation. Soon after, after letting go of many conditioned misconceptions about meditation, I learned how to meditate correctly. When I learned how to meditate correctly, “the divine within” went from being a theological concept to believe in to a direct mystical encounter that would lead to a experiential knowing and authentic spiritual transformation.
In this video, I share a little bit about my journey with meditation and how you can experience God directly within yourself through meditation. I explain five practical steps that will help you to begin meditating correctly and then ultimately transcend into deeper mediative states where oneness with God is realized and experienced. Enjoy the bliss!

    1. Sit upright
Say your intention "I'm doing this practice to experience my oneness with God"
    With eyes closed, gaze upwards.
    2. Become aware of your breath. Take 5 to 10 minutes. Analyze your body for tension. Breathe into it to release the tension.
    3. Watch your thoughts go by. You are the one aware of the thoughts.
Concentrate on one thing. An object, mantra or feeling. (Mercy). No set amount of time. The primary object will fade into peace.
    Peace transforms into love.
    Love transforms to bliss.
Bliss turns to oneness or unity consciousness.
You know you are one with God and everything.
You are transcending the thinking mind and noticing the oneness that has always been there.
    This is where miracles happen.
    Thank you so much!

This simple steps are brilliant for beginner meditators. They even have a name. The simple breath/body consciousness meditation is called Anapanasati and the thought awareness meditation is called Vipassana in Buddhism. They are so simple you don't need any prayer or mantra or chanting or any rituals of any kind to do it.

After finishing this video, I realize that I did this as a teenager. After the documentary The Secret told me I could have anything I wanted, I realized that everything that I want is really just because I want to be happy. Then I asked myself, can I be happy in an instant? I tried it and I was! But I really wanted to test it, so I waited for a day when I was sad or angry to see if I could shift instantly into happiness. The day came as I had to walk 3 miles home from school, and I realized I was angry. In that moment of realization, I dropped everything and chose happiness, then experienced my awakening.

Meditation is not just extreme pleasure. Meditation is the realization of immortality and the realization that everything is heaven. When you realize that, it's so good, it's infinitely good. It's not just good. It's good to the infinite degree. It's so much goodness that you can't contain it. your body can't hold it. Your entire body shakes and shudders in a cosmic orgasm of bliss. It's perfection. It's total peace. It's absolute love, that's truly meditation.

Very good video with sound advice for meditating. I would just like to add a couple of things:
It is extremely important to ask for protection prior to meditating or before doing any kind of spiritual work. This ensures that no negative etheric being can attach itself to you, overshadow you or influence your mind as your mental frequency rises.
At the end of every meditation, I also recommend that you give thanks to the Most High Great Spirit (God) and to anyone else you asked for protection, Celestials, Advanced Spirit Beings, Enlightened spiritual teachers you revere, spirit guides etc. Also send out thoughts of Love, Peace, Healing and Goodwill to the Earth and all expressions of life.
    This is the way!

One thing that helped for me was to stop praying externally because it reenforces this notion that God is external to you. Now my "prayer" is part of my mediation where i radiate feelings of gratitude and if i pray for someone, i envision them healthy, happy, or whatever i want for them.

God IS...therefore I AM!!! Been with several Unity Churches (metaphysical and non-denominational) since 1985, and then found Self Realization Fellowship (Paramahansa Yogananda--my Guru--Kriya Yoga) about 2 years ago, and both of these spiritual paths taught me exactly as you state throughout this magnificent video...Everything, and I mean everything you said was/is exactly how I feel and KNOW to be the Truth. It felt like you were speaking from MY Being and experience. Everything you said about meditation was SO SO SO true and I experienced my oneness with God exactly the way you described your experience. All the words you used were all familiar--I swear I felt like I was the mind/heart/Soul presenting the video, and I've never had that kind of experience before. So glad I "found" you on TH-cam and I will be up all night watching more of your videos. Thank you so much Logan...I definitely sense the connectedness of Spirit. Perhaps we knew each other in a previous incarnation? We are ALL expressions of God that's why God is Within each of us. Aum, Shanti, Amen. Have a blessed week everyone.

Thank you for the clear reminding of the meditation path to unity consciousness again. When I was younger I experienced it while I was in deep meditation but when I have a family, it got busy and I got away from it.
It’s good to know that it’s a universal experience and that anyone of us can get in this state if we have enough time and patience.

I am so glad I found this video. You are amazing. This is the best advice on how to meditate even though I have experienced oneness. It is exactly as you explain but I stopped doing it about 30 years ago because of severe stress and illness. I am now trying to get back to where I was and I’m having trouble getting there. Always seem to end up sleeping even though sitting up. I just love your explanation. Exactly how it was with me.

I did all the steps after 6 hours of sleeping and had the weirdest dream. I was more aware like normal. Seeing that I was living in the wrong place and paranormal activities happened.
But in the end of my dream I saw an oval white light which made a sound. My body started to solve with everything around me. I panicked as it really felt like I was gone! In this state I woke up.

I was working on my boat and this exact experience happened where the only word was bless. I felt completely loved and I loved completely . I was even able to walk within that experience. It lasted about 10 to 15 minutes. I thank the Divine for letting me find you. Because it was hard to explain to people on what I felt.

I was a few years into my spiritual journey when I finally (& divinely) realized that meditation was what I “needed” to start to integrate/embody/experience all of the intellectual understandings I had acquired. Mediation allows us to remember who and what we truly are. It’s 100% a devotional practice that can connect us to our divine essence (Love). I deeply appreciate how you’ve laid this out as steps. So helpful and beautiful 🙏🏼

You explained it exactly how I do to my christian friends. Its crazy how much the church has controlled the narrative and pushed people away from the instructions in their own book. I havent experienced oneness via meditation but I have via self inquiry and its crazy asf and amazing at the same time. For me when it happened I just couldnt stop laughing..and the saying Cosmic joke made so much sense because there was no seperation. But it will also create more suffering as you try to get back to it. Excellent video.

    • @Darksagan
      @Darksagan 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@BunnyRabit-yo3lx Yeah sure. So once you have a perceptual shift the suffering is caused from wanting to get the experience back. Its like you got to taste a piece of cake for the first time and now youre going crazy from not being able to find a bakery. lol The constant chasing of the experience causes suffering. Its like dwelling on the past of future taking yourself out of the present moment also causes suffering.

I am in the place that you first described. I try to remove all thought. But that is effort and it seems that there should be no effort. I get disappointed because I am not able to achieve it - whatever “it” is. Then I get upset because I feel like a failure and I know that that should not happen. I will get there. I keep getting gentle nudges and I know that if I just relax I will get there. I am thankful for your video. Thank you.

    • @LoganBarone
      @LoganBarone  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Yes! Meditation is all about letting go. It’s not about achieving or attaining something. It’s about letting go of all the egoic programming and conditioning that prevents us from discovering who we really are and what we already have. That's where the true “transcendence” is. As far as thoughts go, meditation is not about trying to control our thoughts, nor is it about not thinking. Instead, it's about being aware of our thoughts-watching them come and go like clouds in the sky. The practice of observing our thoughts leads to the mind becoming still as our brain waves slow down. From here, inner peace begins to arise. Have you seen my most recent video on meditation? I posted it today. In that video, I discuss more about what I'm saying here. I also address some other misconceptions about meditation.
I hope this was helpful. Thanks for watching!

I just want to offer some advice if your thoughts are wandering when you are meditating. Say in your mind "I am here" or "you are here". Slow down your breathing. 1. Find a quiet, comfortable place...
    Inside or outside.
It's about getting in heart ❤️ space.
    2. Sit upright as comfortable as possible.
Have an intention to be said first.
Start noticing your breath about 5 minutes.
    3. Be aware of breath. See how relaxed you are, and release tension in other parts of your body that need to be relaxed.
Pick an object to focus on trying not to let thoughts go and don't let them concern you.
    It's not your thoughts.
15 mins in your focus, other things will start fading.
    4. Keep focused to enter into peace.
Focus breath, mantra, flame 🔥 your third eye.
Meditation on mercy is powerful, too.
If you stay focused, even your focus will slip. The peace will come do not get distracted stay focused into the peace. As primarily object.
Then love ❤️ comes all through out your body.
    You may cry or laugh.
Ego will come stay in love ❤️ and let go. Let the ego and mind go.
    5. Then bliss comes ✨️ then oneness comes with God and everything 🙏 🙌
    Always has been within you/us.
    6. You will notice you absorbed past, and future will go there's only now with God and all.
    Kingdom of God in you.
Presence of God always with you in you.

Logan, great video; best I've seen on meditation technique, as it is simple, direct and insightful. Here are some things that you won't (and shouldn't) believe without good reason, but you will find interesting: I'm a simple man that shares my soul with Moses, Elijah, John the Baptist, and now I come as the 'two witnesses" of Revelation Chapter 11 (along with my discarnate soul-twin, my late wife Rose). I've been given a very deep intellectual understanding - which is quite simple (and can only be understood in extremely simple terms in any case, as the irrational mind is so limited). And amazing experiences have paralleled my "book learning" such that I am able to have extreme confidence in my education. And yet, I have been entirely unsuccessful at meditation attempts, which have been very few over the years, as I haven't felt drawn that direction. This video inspires some future attempts, though I don't feel especially motivated to do so yet. "My yoke is easy and my burden is light," because "the script is written," and I'm just watching something that the Mind that is ALL has done. Our only role as individuals is to formulate our desires and beliefs, and everything flows from that. I call it Dynamic Determinism. And an unprejudiced desire for Truth is the final result, and "Salvation" Itself. For, "in your desire lies its fulfillment." To further prepare me for my role (see Revelation 11) I know that some amazing experiences are in the offing. Involving meditation? I don't know. All of my gifts to date have come unexpected, in both timing and form. And if you want to know more - in these "end times," when the Old Cycle of Time is dying that the New Cycle may be born - seek and you will find.
