I'm thankful my ex wife let me spend the day with my kids without arguing And actually got to spend all Thanksgiving with them. And I'm thankful to be alive and to have so many awesome friends and family. Had to edit this I'm especially thankful for you and the other content creators. Dave reminds me of "Navy John" we had growing up at the LGS who'd always be carrying a binder full of power nine. That guy was an absolute legend who clearly knew this stuff was going to be worth thousands down the road. Wish I had some way to contact him now just to see how his retirement is going LOL.

I am thankful for my sobriety. I just hit 4 years sober October 21 after struggling for 10 years to get and stay clean and I know I wouldn’t be here today if I hadn’t. Every day is a gift and it’s days like today that I appreciate life the most.

That Starter Deck literally knocked the wind out of you, ha ha! I'm used to Joey Moss getting louder and louder as he gets more and more excited, but now I know that after a certain threshold, it's the complete opposite! The video became real silent, real quick! Those were awesome gifts. Dave is a cool guy. It would kill me to have to keep the Starter Deck sealed, even though the probability of finding a dual land or something cool like a Wheel of Fortune or a Copy Artifact is only slightly better than 10% times 3...

this was great, honestly when I first started watching you I didn't get you, thought you were obnoxious af. Now I get it, and appreciate your channel and watch it as much if not more than any other mtg channel. Putting yourself out there is mostly the reason why, keep on truckin brother. Great video man. There are no better words to describe having someone like Dave in your life than thankful. I've been in a couple really tough places in my life where I didn't know where to turn and my one friend since middle school was always there to help when I needed it. I've tried doing what I could to repay him and help him when he needed it but will never be enough in my eyes. It always feels better to give than to receive but cherish the people that are willing to go out of their way to help you, especially when you really need it
Love to see someone able to give so much when they don’t have to, love even more to see someone else paying forward from it. Can’t wait to do something like this for others, have quite a few ranks to get to that point first.

i'm so thankful for my dad! i introduced him to magic a couple years ago and he really latched onto it. it's something that's very dear to us, and we go through our collections and play tabletop together very often. the quality time with him is more than i could ever ask for.
I've been in the MTG community for about 5 months now and I absolutely love this game and collecting these cards. I have sucked at gift giving and this year I worked real hard to give my friends and family gifts they deserve and watching this video just made me remember and realize how much these gifts will mean to the people getting them. This was awesome and im so glad I watched the whole things. I cant believe it's not butter!

As someone that found my cards a week ago, I found this channel & watched an opening of a Box that I bought a booster of. I've been addicted to opiates since 14 (04', Methadone), got clean a couple times, but w/ so many spinal injures (& benzo prescription @ 16, & mentally ill, gambling addict single mom overprescribed everything) I hope you're well man. Had no idea this guy was struggling in the couple videos I watched, & I'm still in sub "therapy", (spiraling on benzos though), its almost like God is putting me in the right place a year after the post. Would love to hear back, & suggestions for coming back to the hobby, also regret giving away my collection from 95-01' as a kid to my best friends brother, ugh God knows what I had there. And had 90% of my pokemon card collection jacked, sigh. But I'm alive, still smarter than avg bear, no criminal record, got off the needle, & retained my moral compass somehow, I'm better off than most.
I'm thankful for everything in my life! I have worked so very hard for everything I have and I have my girlfriend and family to thank for it. Over this past year I've made more money than I ever have before and I finally got my drivers license and a car! I'm extremely thankful for the universe bringing so much success in my life. I'm so excited for the future ahead and the happy moments to come. I don't know the answer for the big box Dave question but I'm guessing a marine warrent officer. Have a happy Thanksgiving joey! I was navy 2nd class petty officer sonar technician when I was medically discharged after 8 years 3 months 2 days not that I was counting. I would be a patron but I only receive disability so money is really tight. Happy thanks giving and congrats to who ever wins!

Honestly? I'm thankful I've found this community. I played a bit of MTG back in the day, but couldn't really afford anything so I just.. forgot about it for a bit. Fast forward 15 years later and I've just started again. The local stores here in the Netherlands have been wonderful and I've even made some friends already. I'm thankful for the community as a whole for being welcoming and answering my dumb questions. Thankful for having a fun hobby again ❤

I'm Thankful that I didn't let jealously stop me from watching most parts of the video (i struggled no lie). When I See how much cool stuff you get to open and buy and gifts you get, it makes me bummed a bit, about how i can barely pay bills and not afford to even buy a McDonald's big mac meal or a second tank of gas in a 2 week period if i needed it lol. They printed terramorphic expanse for the same reason they printed Unflicnhing Courage instead of Armadillo Cloak reprint, so that their could be multiple cards that do the same thing for formats such as EDH.

I'm grateful for my friends and family and for the magic community in general. After experiencing MTG Las Vegas I'm so happy to see that the community is still going strong despite recent times. Makes me very exited to see us make the shift back to larger events and paper play as a whole.

We used to have Alpha and Beta starter deck tournaments. $5 per starter open em (no sleeves) shuffle up and play em raw on the table. While the memories are amazing....it makes me want to vomit. LOL!
I'm thankful for my mother. Her health is in a steady decline due to MS however I spent Thanksgiving with her, my beautiful wife and my amazing kids. Im blessed.
I'd have to guess Dave's rank would have retired from the air force as a first sergeant. I want to say first lieutenant, but it doesn't feel right for some reason.
And I'm thankful that I still have my grandmother with us this year. She just turned 98 and isn't doing too well but I'm very glad she's stuck around to see her great grandchildren.

I'm thankful that I'm alive. On Wednesday, I was in a head on collision with an oncoming truck. I hit him going nearly 65 mph because he turned left without an arrow. I remember hitting him, my face hitting the steering wheel, then I came to with an EMT loading me up into the ambulance. I got SO lucky, no big bruises, no serious cuts, nothing, just a LOT of pain. The other driver was very much okay, and not harmed at all. I have since been absolutely terrified of driving, but I'm grateful that both myself, and him walked away from it alive and well, and we got to see our families again. PLA Moss boss, thanks for being part of my life.
