Click 30x videos are for another problem,this is when u have the controller for a long time and are just worn out,while the others are for sprint cancelling that has happened to me on all 3 of my controllers and the 30x fixes the problem.

Ok so i ordered this guys stickers and placed them exactly where he said to put them, also sprayed the analogs with compressed air , and it definitely helps however does not get rid of the issue. The problem is deeper than placing stickers on those pads so I would avoid being tempted ordering them

And if your controller doesn't have a huge gap I still insist that you slide one under it and it might work out for you. But I mean once your controller starts acting weird some sort of problem will always arise like for instance my square button isn't properly working now 😭🤣 and I'm constantly in this loop of fixing my controller every other day.
The L-R3 buttons not working or acting glitchy does not necessarly mean those plastics are worn out. Before you start adding bits to your controller just try airdusting around there and then spraying a little contact spray over the stick and click mechanism. Cleared it right up for me and many others. Might just be the contact patches getting a little dirty and clogged up. Would strongly recommend trying to just clear and clean up those moving parts and contacts before you start adding things. I'm sure what is shown here is great advise for that problem but your RL3's not working might very well just be some dust and dirt particals building up over time.
L3 only doesn't click well when stick is forward. Will this be an issue? I assume raising the button may make it too high for when the joystick is in resting or non-forward position.

Guys i fix it... If u can't buy this product i have a solution. It works for me, take a 1cm stripe of scotch heavy duty packaging tape and stacked one by one this stripes of heavy duty scotch tape (is what i used .. it works for me). Cut 5-8 stripes and stacked it. 8/9 is the maximum thickness, above that it would not fit. Then cut this stripe in a square or circle that fits in the R3/L3 buttom. Good luck, thanks me later if it work if does not, lets find another solution.

If you are really scared to open your controller and do stuff inside the motherboard, then just get some joystick caps that are little bit longer, i recommend Kontrolfreeks PS4-Galaxy. They cost something around 14.99$ and there is a long length and a middle length stick in there, they are recommended by many youtubers, it won't really fix it, but it'll feel like it is easier to press the L3 or R3 buttons.
No.. that paper will start going to bits in no time and you'll have that floating around in your controller till it finds a good place to ruin your game.
I purchased these and waited over 2 weeks for them to arrive. At first I thought they fixed my issue, but the adhesive on these are terrible. They would fall off of the button and I'd lose them. I ended up using all of them and eventually they lost their stickiness. I could just be an idiot, but, in my opinion, they aren't sticky enough (Yes the sticky side was facing down). Kinda disappointed.

Does this help the stick feeling like it's cutting in and out pressing forward?. Not clicking just pressing forward. I have 3 dual shock 4s and they all started with l3 being intermittent and now pressing forward without engaging l3 stutters...

Heads-up, the thumbstick mechanism is the same for the DualSense controllers for PS5, and I resolved this similar issue moments ago with two square bits of electrical tape. This is not a difficult issue to fix at all.

Where do you find only the potentiometer metal ring for repair? I find only a complete analog to weld. I've as many others a problem with my left analog (V2 controller + battlefield 4,1and V): if I move on left is OK but on the right there is a dead zone before it move (is hard hard to shot someone). I bought a new one (V2 camo) and is ok, no game bug. Do you think is same problem as you or I've to weld ? Maybe a clening could solve? I had bad contact on swipe buttons a/c of my old car and a cleaning solved my problems when happend. There was a formation of black dirty grease on surface that stop conduction.
Hello xq gaming I've done this method and the spring method located around the analog stick now I have no response from any of my buttons such as x,o,triange, and sqaure. Do you have any recommendation to fix this problem. This is also a new controller and the Sprint already stopped working. If you could take time out of your day to help that would be appreciated and keep up the great work
Then I think the metal popup part inside the tact button is dead and doesnt pop back up. You will need to replace the tact button which requires you to remove the whole module unfortunately..
Worked for me thanks. Layered clear packing tape 6 times then cut small square and used that to stick to the small black button and so far its working correcrly

Exactly. I would try using cheaper material like paper or foam first. There can be a number of problems that a sticker won't fix.
I’m having a problem with my L3. When I click it in too hard, it makes my R3 work. Really frustrating when I’m trying to sprint and my guy crouches

About the drift thing can it be dust and stuff or have to get new sensor wheels or both can get to this problem?
You have to clean the analog sensors and you should be good to go.
