It makes me sick how he is ignored by MSM around the world. What he has achieved since he joined Kawasaki is without parallel in motorsport in any category. The BBC awarded Lewis Hamilton the sportsman of the year award which was obvious the moment the little plonker started on about BLM and how hard done by he has been since he started racing. Johnny Rea was not even nominated. The eventual value of this award was put into stark focus by Tyson Fury. In any case, a lot of people do recognise what this team and rider have achieved. I certainly do.

When I started racing 35 odd years ago I can remember walking the Aghadowey circuit in March, there was frost and moss on the track but we couldn't have cared less but there wasn't a crew of Kawasaki mentors behind me, just me and my chums talking shite about Yamaha TZ350s which was the choice of weapon at the time lolololol.
Johnny's achievements are simply superb and he is a fantastic ambassador for the sport and Northern Ireland.
