For the first time I watched the full 8 hrs streaming this year.. that last lap has been a knife in the heart for all your fans..at the end, the race direction took the right decision! thanks for the movie and greatings from Italy!

That was the first 8-Hour I was able to live-stream in California. Watched the whole incredible event, and just when it looked like a sure win, this off-the-hook batshite crazy change of plot! Yeah, he was lot better than Haslam, they think he is too fast and too risky. Team didnt say anything just behave like Toprak was not there. Toprak and Kenan got mad and accept Yamaha offer. Even Manuel Pucetti talk for desclade. Also in Krt Toprak will be second rider, now in PataYamaha lead rider.

Such a tidy rider and one of the least riders to crash. Class to see that you from only 2 hours up the road from me in Antrim, instead of all the Italian and Spanish riders hi. I was watching the last corner at the time of that crash. When Mr Haslam picked you up, everyone on the circuit was upset by an unheard of thing. It's a pity that we cannot celebrate you at the award ceremony. The race was postponed for 8 hours this year due to a virus. We look forward to seeing you again. Please be safe.

Absolutely unbelievable. I already knew the outcome, but knowing the back story always helps. Well deserved win with huge bit of luck, and I am sure team Yamaha wasn't mad either. Still strange how the front washed out, almost as if there was something thrown on the track...
Suzuka in 2019 was very dramatic. The final lap puzzled everything, but race direction was the right decision. All the teams made an effort. Kawasaki's victory impressed all the japanese race fans.
I am a fan of Jonny Rea, and I have to be honest that I did not follow Suzuka 8h last year, but they did not finish the race from this documentary, they should at least give more info here so that we are a bit wiser from the start instead of forcing us to look for info :P Anyway, Jonathan, when are you going to get to ride a new Ninja, even though yours still is pretty competitive it is pretty old.

This rule wasn't in the FIM EWC rulebook, so they brought the bike back much later and could still be considered eligible by one lap countback.
lol true. its still great to be invited. they wanted the win. toprak is definitely the marquez of production motorcycle. but his youthful ways could have spoiled it. but they should have given him a small stint ANYWAY imo. its a big money thing. you cant risk it with a young guy
Why invite him and not let him ride, they could have used another rider they know will do a great job and taken a lot of pressure and fatigue off the other riders.

Suzuki engine blown, dropped oil on the track, johnny crashed, red flag, that means count back to last full lap, kawasaki leading, kawasaki win, it wouldn't have mattered who was leading, at a red flagged race it would always go back to who was leading at the last full lap, hope this helps, Zed power 💚💚
Because the suzuki bike blew an engine and spilt oil all over the track. Took two riders to crash on spilt oil to bring out a red flag, then when they brought out the red flag they didnt display it where johnathon was at the time. Was a very delayed response to bring the flags out in the first place. The suzuki rider rid on the track nearly half a lap smoke and oil pissing out of the bike
The fault was from Masson, you can't go back to the track with a blown engine, very irresponsible and team kawasaki was doing everything right during all the race. Losing everything in the last lap due to the fault (negligent, not accidental) of other rider is very unfair don't you think? In my opinion Masson should have been sanctioned if they haven't already, same with any rider who does that. Cheers.
all of those hours racing hard and well is what won him the decision at the end. Everyone thought it was fair. even his competitors conceded the win to the krt.
This should be Netflix next documentary series. Even do one on MotoGP or WSBK. Congrats to Kawasaki!!!
