The best 80/s version of Gary moore by any one .Any where ,, you nailed it too a tee bro ...Use that tone and style ..And come up with ..Victims of the future , Part 2 , you can do it bro ..wow ..smoking hot !!
You have done it again!!! 🙃You have chosen an incredible song. I like very much how you have finish the song, playing alone. Besides, this final solo was one of my all history favorites in the "we want Moore" version. I really enjoy your channel. Amazing work, congratulations!!!
By the way, I think it´s very interesting the note in your comment down the video, because you talk about the artist, the song, musicians, history and your motivation for doing this piece. All of us love this music, each one from his own point of view but it´s wonderful to share it... This channel is killlling me!! Well done!!! @@ClassicSoloSpotlight
Oerhört pedagogiskt klippt! Minns när jag överhörde från grannens gramafonspelare när jag precis börjat spela för många år sedan. Rockade till låten, golvades av solot! Från den dagen haft Moore som stor inspiration, tack för denna videon!
Finally someone play a great song from Gary's, more than still got the blues, empty rooms or something like that. Peter the guitar it's tuned in Eb, how you did for the recording and for the final cut the voice doesn't affect the sound? Because your guitar it's tuned in standar tuning.... Congratulations Peter you really rock, well played and executed, well done, do you have patreon or something for more support?? Big hug
Thank you very much for the kind words. For the tuning I transposed the original track a semitone to match my guitar tuning. You can support this channel on my Patreon: patreon.com/classicsolospotlight
Couldn't agree more. Gary playing a les paul sent me to sleep, I will always remember him using the 61 fiesta red strat. I saw him in 83 playing this song live........life changing !!
Thank you. Last year when I did this video it was Fender original bullets 9-42. These days I'm on GHS boomers 9-42. Picks are Fender extra heavy. White ones only, they have a superior surface grip.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight Oh nice! I have never bought Fender strings. I might have to try some. GHS Boomers; I do have some around here. Along with D Addario and Ernie Ball. Strings are kind of tough to get good ones these days. Ones that last anyway.
@@motrock2 Yes, the D'addarios felt great but they always kept breaking on me for some reason. The Fender bullets on the other hand are just incredible, they seem to last forever.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight Wow; thats cool. I just so happen to have 3 sets of 9s and 1 set of 10s. Going to throw the 10s on the Les Paul and try them out. Everyone is always all over D Addario and Ernie Ball. Then you have StringJoy and Curt Mangan; etc. Its almost like snake oil salesmen at this point! LOL
@@illegallystalked3119 I see, no it's actually free floating, it can go up about a third. I prefer the feel and tension of a floating bridge. It also seems to stay in tune better than decked.

More Gary Moore! Gone but not forgotten! Rock on🤘

@@ClassicSoloSpotlight can you play hiroshima?
Grymt !!!!!!!
I played 20 years ago too but I forgot.I suppose you play and get this kind of songs and solos by ear like me
That's exactly right.
You have a new subscriber :D
Another great cover. Gary Moore's hard rock albums of the early 80s were awesome! BTW; what kind of strings do you use? Picks?

What Dimarzio pickups are you using? Amazing tone and playing - love this tune!
Thank you. The Bridge is a Dimarzio Pro Track, neck is either a Virtual Solo or a stock Fender.
You are from another world ! Can you do a C Major chord ? :-)
That's too advanced for me. Sorry.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight ahahahaha sure it is !
Nice. Sounds like you got the bridge decked?
If you mean a stacked humbucker/rail, yes it is.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight i meant the trem.. do you have it down only?

How you pull off those double stop bends without resting your hand on the bridge with a floating trem?

hello, what distortion pedal do you use? or do you use an overdrive? Cheers!
Hi, it's all in the video description box. Bogner Red.
Whats is The tuning for this song?
Standard.
