    Awesome lesson there man, explained really well, but can I just point out, that on the chorus where Jim plays his little octave fill parts, the third one ( the 0:06) should actually be the octave on fret 3 and 5, rather than 10 and 12. He shows it on his fret 12 lesson, try it out ✌️ Everything else was SPOT on!

    How come you went from saying no pedals at 0:38 to I'm using a drop pedal at 1:28?

    • @LetsPlayAll
      @LetsPlayAll  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I meant no pedals for the tone, I could have just tuned my guitar way down but I used the Drop pedal for convenience as none of my guitars are set up specifically to play in very low tunings. Sorry for the confusion, but I was referring to no pedals used for the actual guitar tone :-)

    • @LetsPlayAll
      @LetsPlayAll  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Welcome aboard! The pinch harmonics are actually pretty tricky on this tune. Basically you need to pick but also ensure a bit of your thumb catches the string after you pick and then ensure your thumb isn't left on the string to deaden it! Cool explanation here - th-cam.com/video/y17THWYUpUw/w-d-xo.html

    With respect to the Jim Root parts, they can be heard in mix but just barely. I’m using a set of $16 Bluetooth earbuds so that might be why I can barely hear it.

    • @LetsPlayAll
      @LetsPlayAll  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I literally only hear the 3rd riff he plays in the chorus as that comes up in the mix, but the intro part and the 2 sections at the beginning of the chorus I can't discern at all but he must be playing them as he said he was haha

    • @ThatOtherRaccoon
