  • Learn more about how to get rid of cellulite on my website here: draxe.com/how-to-get-rid-of-c...
    Cellulite is the appearance of lumpy or dimpled skin. It predominantly develops on the legs, butt, stomach and back of the arms. When you have globules of fat under the skin pushing up against the connective tissue, it creates this uneven skin appearance. Some factors that contribute to cellulite are lack of exercise, dehydration, poor circulation, hormone changes and unhealthy diet.
    As a skin condition, cellulite is not serious or harmful. Many choose to leave their cellulite alone. Others are very bothered by the appearance of cellulite. In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, I share how to get rid of cellulite naturally, including the best foods, essential oils, supplements and more.

    Thank you Dr. Axe! I have tried to use coconut oil for a body moisturizer before and felt it was greasy but I just tried the coconut oil with grapefruit EO and loved it!! The grapefruit oil actually helps the coconut oil absorb better into you skin and it leaves it smooth and silky without the greasy feeling. I will use this every night now for cellulite and just a moisturizer. Thanks again!

    As far as the Dr Axe cellulite cream of coconut oil & grapefruit oil do you massage it in & wash it off or leave it on the skin. I massaged it in for 5 minutes then jumped in the shower & washed as normal. If I rub it in & leave it on it’s very greasy even is using just a very small amount. Then it’s hard to wear anything f it sit anywhere due to the oils. After a 5 minute massage if showered did it still do the job. Thanks!

    Great content about a difficult and contentious topic! Can essential oils of grapefruit, pepper, cypress and ginger be taken internally (as long as they are food grade) AND applied topically? Love the cellulite cream....

    • @Terri_2.0
      @Terri_2.0 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The reason it's so contentious is because some people have been ripped off when ordering some of these 'essential oils' through webinars and elsewhere. Also, those pushing these oils and other dubious supplements fail to mention things like how toxic certain 'natural' substances can be in the human body. If you like you can read this article and the comments hubpages.com/health/A-Review-of-Dr-Axes-Essential-Oil-Webinar:

    I enjoyed your last book and many of your videos, but it's my understanding (and experience)that one simply cannot get rid of cellulite once it has taken hold. I've gotten my weight down to where it was concerning to relatives because they thought I looked too thin (though according to insurance/physician guidelines, I was just fine) and my cellulite didn't budge. I eat a very low carb diet, zero added sugars, no processed foods or dairy and my cellulite is exactly the same as it was in my teens and 20's.

    Dr. Oz, what if we have Mast Cell Disease/Histamine Intolerance.....With histamine intolerance we often have reactions to nuts, Avocado, citrus fruits....do you think a topical citrus like grapefruit would still cause a reaction (my mast cell flares affect my skin, it gets extremely red & hot/swollen when eating so I'm worried that a topical application could still cause issues?) I really love that you mentioned something that helps with circulation, I often get "flushes" in my hands, cheeks, face and chest. I also really like the dry brush/roller idea, but do you think that would cause a reaction? Sometimes when my body is overreacting I get eczema easily and I've read that scratching skin can cause mast cells to produce a protein that causes eczema, so I'm a little concerned about this treatment as well 😣 I love your videos and how much information you give - Thank you! If you have information on a mast cell version or Histamine Intolerant version I would love to have more information please & thank you!

    I have so much respect for you Dr. Josh Axe
    You have helped me so much in my health journey
    But I’m now realizing
    That I’m beginning to sleep way to much
    And I just wanted to see a video or anything I can do for it.
    I realize that I can sleep 12 hours no problem
    Please help !
