    Really nice workmanship like the way you did a set on the right horizontal piece instead of running it at an angle

    Pipework chases are so much fun as they always annoy Kitchen Fitters and Electricians!

    Great video just wanted to ask when you 1st fixs for standard rads whats the distance you leave on each side for valves to fit? For example if you had 1000mm length rad what distance wud you leave on each side for valves to fit?
    Thanks

      1080 I would allow for and if pipes coming out the floor drill a 20mm hole so you have play or even 25 if carpet above

    • @mmplumber
      @mmplumber  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      40mm either side

    • @mmplumber
      @mmplumber  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sometimes if your using loctite or liquid ptfe you need to go in as the they finished tighter so 75mm added

    I was told that in order to meet regs the water in needs to
    Be 15mm not 22mm. Can you use 22mm?

    questions: 1/ how high do you set your 1st fix above ffl? is it always the same? are rad pipes always the same distance apart or do different valves mean you have to measure each time, ie if you have a 500mm towel rad, you always set your pipework at 550mm centres for example?

    • @mmplumber
      @mmplumber  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So above here was plastic but it’s all clipped and in straight lines so no tension on anything . For rads you add 40mm on each end for valves. Here on the towel rails you come in 22.5 from each side for valves going back into the wall. So if it’s 500 wide your 455 pipe centres

    What's the point in putting points to improve on when you argue you were right in the first place?

    • @mmplumber
      @mmplumber  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Improve on the video making mate, I want to know your feed back and how I can make the videos better for you to watch. There’s always different ways to do plumbing. Aslong as we get the best result in the end that’s all that matters.

    Nice work - think the format is good - you could equally mix a bit of 'live' commentary and voiceover for variety but I enjoy your content - I typically watch pb, mjtiff, nathan and tom plumb but look out your videos when they appear too
