Fir anyone still stuck in an auto repair loop, the following worked for me : "Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings. After that, the computer should restart and then will give you a list of options. Next, choose Disable early launch anti-malware protection. After that, restart your PC and check if the Windows Automatic Repair not working issue has been resolved."
This fixed my problem that was driving me absolutely insane! For some reason my computer was booting to windows 7 rather than 10. Thank you for the help, keep up the great videos!
At the command prompt option, I get a message saying " you need to sign in as an administrator to continue, but there aren't any administrator on this PC". Which isn't true, cause I properly logged and using this system for a while now as an administrator before this issue
sorry it did not work for You. This was the only video that helped Me. going into command Prompt and diskrec stuff worked, hope You try again using that part.

@ki.ngMohammed I had to install linux it's the only way it let me turn it on and use it, windows it's like completely broken, not even the repair or the bootable worked for me.
@@itszvy is the same i guess, you just make the OS you want to install (in this case linux) bootable in a flash drive or cd using one of the software for this and then proceed to install in the pc booting the PC through the usb.
This worked for me. Took ages and screen stayed black for 15+ minutes but eventually I got the blue screen and all went well from there. Thanks very much.
Note that if you dual-boot with Windows and Linux, these commands will kill Grub and you won't be able to get to Linux anymore. Apparently if that happens you can boot from a Linux live CD/USB and install and run boot-repair to restore Grub. In my case the problem was that Windows had suddenly forgotten which drive to boot from and was booting from drive F: when Windows was installed on drive D:. I could see this because I picked "advanced" in that recovery menu and opened the console as specified and ran bcdedit. This had "osdevice" and "device" set to "partition=F:". When I changed to D: and typed dir, I could see that it was the drive with Windows installed on it. I typed these and then rebooted: bcdedit /set {default} osdevice partition=D: bcdedit /set {default} device partition=D: And that fixed it. I have no idea why Windows suddenly decided that F: was a better drive to boot from.
I wanna describe my situation and how I fixed it in case it can help any other pc idiots out there like me who have no idea what they're doing. My Situation: So a couple of days ago I upgraded my HDD to an SSD but decided to keep the HDD for backup/less important shit, instead of doing a fresh install I just cloned my HDD using "Aomei backupper" and for about 2 days everything was working fine, I changed my boot drive to the SSD in bios and had no problems so I decided to wipe my HDD. well the next morning when I went to turn on my pc I got the recovery screen with the error code "0xc00000e". I spent about an hour on youtube following all these tutorials of what to do in the command prompt but nothing was working. My Solution: I kept getting errors like "path not found" when doing the "bootrec/rebuildbcd" command and when I looked this up online people just said "type diskpart, select disk 0, select the partition, type active, etc." but when I typed "active" I would get a message saying "selected disk is not a fixed mbr disk" and what I found out is that for whatever fucking reason I have no idea why but my C drive was the E drive all of the sudden so in the command prompt I typed "bcdboot E:\Windows" (It might not be E for you maybe it is C or a different letter but if you type "bootrec/rebuildbcd" and it pops up saying Windows installations:1 and has a drive under that then use whatever drive that is but for me it was E) and then I typed "exit" and then in the advanced settings where the option to go into the command prompt, bios, system restore, etc. is in the top left box said "continue with Windows 11" instead of "startup repair" like it did before so I clicked that and my pc started up normally.
I must have a serious problem because I tried this and unfortunately it didn’t work for me. My computer freezes on the boot screen and I can’t go any further. The mouse starts to light up and then it just shuts off while the computer tries to keep booting.
You are a genius man. After having my computer being caught in a loop and uploading with the windows background for more than three hours, the computer was restored in 15 minutes after trying this. Thanks a million!

At 3:11 it says "total identified windows installations: 0", how is this classified as a successful operation? rebuildbcd command doesn't work for me. It actually identifies 1 windows installation; I add it to the list, then it says "the system cannot find the path specified"

I am not getting the manufacturer loading screen at all. I have a dekstop mini with 8gb Ram Intel i5 4570 On switching on the pc, it just starts the fans and for some reason the disk light won't turn on. Please help me! PS: i have tried resetting the BIOS and even reseating the ram cards.
I have this exact problem. when I sign in, it will not accept my password which is the same for my Google email. I thought to be sure I would make a new password using my cell. It doesn't accept the new password. I was able to boot and check the drives and it says no issues.

I did that but the only thing that shows on my screen is the computer manufacurer's logo. It won't move past that screen and it doesn't go into automatic repair mode.
I looked at MANY other videos to help Me, and YOURS was the only one that restored My system. I tried for a day and a half. All I did was take out all sata SSD drives and cables and just had My New PC build working great until I remembered that for some reason, the Sata Port had to be the same one as when it was originally installed. FS1. Thank You so much for helping Me fix my very expensive Desktop heavy weight and letting it be My New PC I had used for only a few days.
This fails to work, so obviously the problem is not generic, there are various reasons why it will not boot, and this only covers one of those reasons.

Since February 14 I've had intermittent issues with booting. Sometimes it boots fine the first time but the next day it takes two tries or maybe a week later it fails two times and I go into the recovery options and restart from there and it magically boots normally. My PC is less than two years old (HP, AMD processor) and I'm stumped and frustrated by the intermittent issue. Prior to February 14 I NEVER had this issue. Sometimes after I had issues booting, when I run sfc /scannow it finds corruptions and fixes them but other times it finds no issues. Same with the dism commands. Over the months I've tried many virus malware scans, changing power options, battery tests, deleting unneeded programs, updating windows and drivers, and this issue still occurs and no problems are detected by built-in tools. I can't figure out the problem but I suspect a Windows update started it. With my situation is it safe to run the commands in this video?
I face the same issue.... It magically opens sometimes.... In the blue screen, I tried advanced options, to no help... But the blue screen restart option always ended up in a normal restart.... But now, preparing automatic repair doesn't end up in the diagnosing phase... And it's an endless loop... It's been days since I could use the laptop
@@harry5ing After more than 4 months I finally fixed my issue by uninstalling Dropbox. Up until February 14 when the booting problems first started I never had startup issues even with Dropbox installed for over a year, but an update must have messed something up. What's strange is I even had the program disabled in automatic startup. It's been a month so far and everything is back to normal.
Thank You, However, what do you do if win will not go past the boot-loop, will not allow modifications to bootrec , is on GPT, & there are no restore points? Yet for some in-fathomable reason, ms expects you to have a working win 10 - in order to repair / re-install win 10 without trashing yours system, apps, settings, data etc (which took months to create). Used to be that an ‘in-place-up-grade’ was possible on prior versions & that could be scripted as a non-destructive refresh & even run remotely Is there any way to do something similar? Thanks.
not anymore. Windows gets crappier with every new release. You have to be able to successfully start it in order to do that. And if it starts, you could probably troubleshoot it and not need to. Stupid MicroSlop.
I have an update. I have found that the problem, in my case, was that the drive was full. Not a single bit of space available. Even the trash bin was empty. So, no matter what procedure, it was impossible to fix it. I ran a Linux Live, and when observed the zero available space I have deleted a couple of hundreds of MB. Tried then the same procedures, and this time it worked.
For me, regardless of what I try to boot windows from it just restarts over and over, I have windows 7 installed on my HDD and windows 10 on my SSD and it just goes round and round in a loop

Mine is on endless restart loop, tried the on/off trick a hundred times but no repair options. It even cancels the CMD prompt when it force restarts

You need to remove 100% working solution clickbait - of course this did not work for me and just put me right back in the same loop.

What if a person doesn't remember the login password when trying to bring up command prompt or other advanced recovery options?

I try it but, won't work , I noticed when I click on command prompt it won't ask me to select a user and either a password, so could it be the real problem??? Because it don't ask me for a password??
Since February 14 I've had intermittent issues with booting. Sometimes it boots fine the first time but the next day it takes two tries or maybe a week later it fails two times and I go into the recovery options and restart from there and it magically boots normally. My PC is less than two years old (HP, AMD processor) and I'm stumped and frustrated by the intermittent issue. Prior to February 14 I NEVER had this issue. Sometimes after I had issues booting, when I run sfc /scannow it finds corruptions and fixes them but other times it finds no issues. Same with the dism commands. Over the months I've tried many virus malware scans, changing power options, battery tests, deleting unneeded programs, updating windows and drivers, and this issue still occurs and no problems are detected by built-in tools. I can't figure out the problem but I suspect a Windows update started it.
With my situation is it safe to run the commands in this video?
I face the same issue.... It magically opens sometimes.... In the blue screen, I tried advanced options, to no help... But the blue screen restart option always ended up in a normal restart.... But now, preparing automatic repair doesn't end up in the diagnosing phase... And it's an endless loop... It's been days since I could use the laptop
@@harry5ing After more than 4 months I finally fixed my issue by uninstalling Dropbox. Up until February 14 when the booting problems first started I never had startup issues even with Dropbox installed for over a year, but an update must have messed something up. What's strange is I even had the program disabled in automatic startup. It's been a month so far and everything is back to normal.

However, what do you do if win will not go past the boot-loop, will not allow modifications to bootrec , is on GPT, & there are no restore points?
Yet for some in-fathomable reason, ms expects you to have a working win 10 - in order to repair / re-install win 10 without trashing yours system, apps, settings, data etc (which took months to create).
Used to be that an ‘in-place-up-grade’ was possible on prior versions & that could be scripted as a non-destructive refresh & even run remotely

not anymore. Windows gets crappier with every new release. You have to be able to successfully start it in order to do that. And if it starts, you could probably troubleshoot it and not need to. Stupid MicroSlop.

I have an update.
I have found that the problem, in my case, was that the drive was full.
Not a single bit of space available.
Even the trash bin was empty.
So, no matter what procedure, it was impossible to fix it.
I ran a Linux Live, and when observed the zero available space I have deleted a couple of hundreds of MB.
Tried then the same procedures, and this time it worked.

For me, regardless of what I try to boot windows from it just restarts over and over, I have windows 7 installed on my HDD and windows 10 on my SSD and it just goes round and round in a loop
