It is quite touching to see these rather large athletes be completely humbled and overwhelmed by this honor. I like they do it this way so the family can take part as well.
Just think about it, LESS THAN 400 men out of 25,000 are in the Pro Football HOF. Pro athletes are already among the elite but these, are the best of the best! What an accomplishment! Nothing but respect for all of them, no matter who your team is or who you root for, you have to give it up for them!
Chiefs fan here. Moments like these are part of the reason we love football and other sports. It's more than just a game. 7× Pro Bowler, 5× All-Pro and 3× Super Bowl Champ. I'm happy for Seymour. Not sure whose idea it was to have Ty Law do the knock but that was brilliant.
Real Talk... Congratulations to Richard Seymour !!! He quietly went about taking care of business and being a professional. Great video. Nice crib and a wonderful family...
I was so happy when we drafted Seymour. Great person and great player. And talk about value 3 superbowls multiple pro bowl and then we trade him for a first round pick. Well earned well deserved. Bravo!!!
Wow the memories Seeing you with TY The DYNAMIC Duo Together again Making PATRIOT NATION PROUD,, I am thrilled for you ,,, Congrats,,,,, Now we need to talk about that greenbay flag on your lawn , TY Did the right thing ,,,,, JUST GET A Pats ONE out there MAKE SURE ITS BIGGER,, much love So proud of you , 🥰
Darren Woodson should be inshrined in Canton!!!... Rod Smith Should also be inshrined!!!... These guys are what the HOF is all about, Hard work, Production and Class... These men are respected by their peers and are loved by the communities that they serve... If the HOF is just about numbers, well then, we can look at those for both players... The numbers add up in my opinion...
I'm a Giants fan and Ware was a monster when he played. The year when no team in the NFC East went under .500 he had 20 sacks and should've won DPOY. 138 career sacks, he should've been in first ballot. His last year with the Broncos was the only time where he felt semi-human.
@@terrenceharris-hughes4436 5 years and ask the pros, they know some guys don’t get the stats because they are doing things that are just as valuable, but impossible to put a metric around. This guy is one of those guys.

Stop making up stuff, sir. She looks more like she's in shock taking it all in. Everyone is not a smiley nor highly emotional person. You're crossing the line to say she's ungrateful when hasn't uttered a word.
She wasn't mad. Like someone said most everyone was stunned by what happened usually the only person they tell is the wife and they usually tell her don't tell anybody else in the family
HoF is a joke. 57.5 career sacks and he gets in before old legends with better stats like Jim Marshall, L.C. Greenwood, Clyde simmons, Robert Mathis, Dwight freeney, Jared Allen and Demarcus ware just to name a few. He's 238 on the alltime sack list for Pete's sake!!!
he was part of the greatest nfl dynasty of all time and without him some those rings may not of happened. Hall of fame is about s did u make your team better when you did. Seymour def did.
MrBiscuit, you don't know the game. What Seymour did in the trenches has him here. Seymour Will Mc, Ty Law, Rodney Harris, and many more could do what they did. He made it impossible for the offense to run up the middle. Learn football, bro.
You clearly never watched a Pats game in the early-mid 2000’s. The guy drew double-teams every game in a 3-4 defense that allowed his teammates to make plays. Ty Law was right, the dynasty defense wouldn’t have been possible without him.
The pride on the man's face speaks volumes.
LOOOOOVE the look on his face as he puts it all together. Those are the greatest images worth filming.
The rock of a dynasty. Never forgotten
It is quite touching to see these rather large athletes be completely humbled and overwhelmed by this honor. I like they do it this way so the family can take part as well.
It’s easy to be a fan of this man and his humility.
He was a monster in his time!!
Definitely

Just think Colin Kaepernick called the NFL a slave trade.
Well said
Absolutely! ❤
Hall Of Famer Richard Seymour 🔥
This man was a force to be reckoned with

one of the original patriots who made me hype for GameDay every week, big Seymour, congrats 👏
Yes Yes is about time you deserve it my brother you are a amazing father and a amazing friend my god bless you and your family love you all harry 🏈🏆🏈

Great video! I agree with Ty Law, Richard Seymour deserves HOF and much more
My Nickname for him was Big Scare because he was a ferocious player who frightened O-Lineman. One of my Favorite D players of all time.
Definitely impact the game in so many ways
I have watched the HOF Knocks for years now and this is my new favorite.
Wow the memories
Seeing you with TY

So proud of you , 🥰
Wasn't it a Georgia Bulldog flag? Either way though..
That moment right after Ty law asks Seymour do you know why I’m here? So dope
I’m crying. This is so good.
He seems like a good and humble person. He worked hard over the years to get where he is at.
After all this time, I thought he was a defensive line, but he’s played interior line. Well deserved Seymour!!! UGA
He was tho?
This is awesome
I know he didn't do much but once a raider always a raider congratulations Richard
As a Chargers fan, this man was a thorn in our side so many times. Well deserved.
He was stunned!
Awesome!! Well deserved!
I hope you guys do right by Torry Holt
Seymour and Wilfork. Go Pats.
8:14 that was pretty cool. Some legends are out of that school.
You know why I'm here is the GOATED
Go Dawgs!!
King of OG
I loved when he played on the Raiders he was the enforcer
He has the same demeanor and humbleness as Trent Williams ...

His kids do not look enthused at all. 7:30
Your kids never see you as anything other than “Mom” or “Dad” you could be the most accomplished in your field and they could care less lol
He got in before ware?
Yeah and about 100 other players that had better careers and way better stats.
@@MrBiscuit75 names of these linemen ?

When did Ware retire though? Don't you have to be out for at least 6 years to be eligible

Yep another dawg
That boy look like Bigweld from robot city
...#DSGB4Life #RaiderNation4Life
Just think how great he would have been if Bill just let him go he was a freakish talent.
His daughter doesn’t seem very interested….

If this fella is in, why is there an argument Edelman isn’t a Hall of Fame shoe in?
Edelman is an avg receiver bud. He’s like stokely Welker Dallas Clark etc. played for great qb and had great stats

I meeaaann....57.5 sacks tho? Seems like the bar is getting lower. He was a good player but the story of the NFL can definitely be told without him.
He was the best player on a dynasty. You cannot tell it without him
@@sportsnerd100 Ever heard a Tom Brady? Yeah he was the best player on those Super Bowl teams
@@Redpill_to_MGTOW he was not the best player on the first 3 teams. Those were defense led teams
Where the hell do you think Richard Seymour played. On defense!
And sacks are NOT everything.
The knocks suck without David Baker
Fake and stage surprise his family already had the camera's ready

I don't see what the problem is. I mean, Seymour is a 7× Pro Bowler, 5× All-Pro and 3× Super Bowl Champion.
Lmao, the HOF is a joke
