    If you want to see and hear his fantastic showmanship, you should definately listen to his
    Gethsemane (Jesus Christ Superstar). It's epic! Ty for another reaction to Dan. 😊

    You did a GREAT job of reacting to this song done by Dan. It's not an easy one TO react to, if you don't know anything about the STORY he's telling through the lyrics and the emotions he displays. Given the fact that you are still (now) learning to respond to individual singers, you really, honestly, did a very nice reaction!
    So...now we all will get the chance to ask for MORE DAN! Right?
    Why not stick with The Witcher songs for at least two more (well...three, actually). Dan has done two versions of the song called "Priscilla's Song. The first time he did it, he "metalized it." It's fantastic. However, my favorite is the second time he did it, in the style that the song was done in the series. Either time, you have to remember that it's a "female's" song, sung by a male. Dan does a TREMENDOUS job of taking those songs and making them HIS. The other song that I think you would really like, that goes with these, is "The Song of the White Wolf." It will take some close listening, because you will find Dan actually "becoming" the white wolf in question...I'll leave you to figure that out.
    I do hope you'll react to all three.
    I've subbed and will be back when I see more Dan reactions (and others, but Dan is my favorite).
    Thank you. 😀

      Dan needs to make the words more clear..instead of so much GROWLING .

    • @GrandmasGotGraceLW
      @GrandmasGotGraceLW 24 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@indiakant4796 If you listen INTO Dan's growls, you'll understand his words very well. His diction, in ALL of songs is beautifully done--especially when you realize that he is Brazilian and his native language is Brazilian-Portuguese. He uses the growls and/or screams, in his metal songs, to portray emotion, and he does it while still being TOTALLY melodic and on-pitch.
      I've always heard "harmonics," which doesn't equate across the board with "harmony," though it plays a part with it. In a lot of the older metal songs, there were a LOT of them that I couldn't listen to, because the people SINGING them were NOT spot-on in the phenomenon that happens when a note is distorted (which produces a dissonance that is either beautiful or terrible).
      If you take check out some of Avi Kaplan's music, you can get a pretty good understanding of all of that. There are even a couple of video on YT that explain what's happening when Avi sings, as well as the way he AUGMENTS his normal singing voice. His voice is just gorgeous. Dan's voice does the same thing, though not exactly in the same manner.
      When Dan growls or screams, I melt. When others have done the past, I wanted to throw breakable items at them, because I wasn't strong enough to just throw THEM! Seriously!
      Also, due to his accent (which is minimal, but gorgeous), try listening to some of the podcasts or gaming videos in which he participates. You can get a better grip on what he's saying in his music, after you hear him speak in some different settings.

    Thank you, awesome job! Audio all good this time, Dan is just fantastic just adore him singing anything. Why don't you listen to a song more familiar to you i.e My heart will go on, Music of the night from Phantom of the Opera, Journey songs, Disney classic from Mulan I'll make a man out of you!

    I’m happy that you gave Dan another try. It’s hard for me to relate to what you shared, because I do sing, I’ve had voice training, and I’m a voice junkie from way back. In my opinion Dan is in the very top tier of singers I have ever heard, and that’s including opera singers. I would make two further suggestions if you want to listen again: Gethsemane or The Music of the Night for theatrical scenes, fantastically sung and acted; or Bring Me to Life, an Evanescence cover, for an incredible assortment of vocal ranges, styles, and techniques in one song. Both are still just a man and a mic, though, so maybe not for you. No problem with that - it’s your channel! I hope you will have another go, but if not, take care. Thanks for reacting!

    I think reactions are personal feelings about whatever it is you're reacting to - whether it's music, art, people, whatever. You dont have to go into the nitty gritty of the music or singing, not many people know a lot about timbres, lower registers, ranges, etc. Just say what you feel - after all, it's your reaction! Dan Vasc is a chameleon and sings very many different music genres. Maybe you'll find a genre of his that you really like. Thanks for your review in any case, what you had to say about this particular song was what you felt and that you liked it - what more can we ask for!

    Dan don't just stand there and sings. He makes you feel the music with mannerisms like his charming smile or make you feel you part of audience. Dan has a catalog of over 250 songs, maybe you should look what he to offer and pick something that appeals your taste in music to react to. BTW the sound on the mic is better, no cutting out. One million subscribes can't be wrong.

    Why do you do Music reactions if you don't know how to react to people singing?????

    • @jackmeri
      @jackmeri  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good question. I think it has to do with reacting to a whole band you have more things to pay attention to. Chord progressions, vocal performances, drums, band member interactions for live performances and a bunch of other things.
      I am still figuring out what I can react to with this kind of performance.

    • @kaydee3210

      @jackmeri Dan Vasc performs on TH-cam, as do other artists, solo most of the time. With a lot of his songs, he does all the instrumentation, editing, and producing. Some of his videos has other musicians he works with performing with instruments. Times have changed, and with those changes, music is presented differently. Best of luck to you!!
