In my headcannon, Nat is indeed currently dating Steve, but from time to time she's confused with her feelings about her old flame Bucky, since Black Widow and Winter Soldier did have relationship during Nat's Red Room days. Yep, a love triangle situation among Captain America, Black Widow, and Winter Soldier.
It could be a whole savages (film) situation, where the woman is in a romantic relationship with two men, they each know each other and are okay with it. It’s not so much a cuck or cheating thing, the woman loves both guys and can’t decide between the two so she chooses both men.
This gives one more reason to make it in canon. Honestly even now I don't give a damn of how I'll take, just want Natasha to come back in the mcu and engage with bucky. I'm OBSESSED with this couple.
I feel like Cap 2 was setting up for them to be together (Bucky and Natasha's comic book relationship much like the last cutscene suggested, don't really acknowledge their past history right away) Agent Carter season 1 aired after Cap 2, and it ended with the formation of the Red Room (Winter Soldier and Black Widow program uniting, which was confirmed by Melina in the Black Widow movie). Age of Ultron was the problem. We had Bucky, Clint Barton and Matt Murdock in the MCU, Natasha's 3 main love interests, and they went for Bruce Banner. They should have brought back Betty in AoU, it would have been a great way to remind movie goers about General Ross prior to Civil War. I honestly blame Joss Whedon, it felt very much like a miscommunication issue between him and the Russo's. And the thing is Thunderbolts will probably give Bucky and Natasha's shared history to Yelena, because if we are being honest almost all of Bucky's source material centers around Steve and Natasha who are both dead in the MCU and all of Yelena's source material centers around Natasha, so the MCU either has to write something original or give them the background of other comic book characters (giving Bucky the White Wolf moniker preventing the use of the character in future projects, giving Tom Holland's spiderman a lot of traits of Miles Morales instead of Peter Parker, which imo will make it difficult or awkward to introduce Miles into the MCU without the multiverse).

Anyway, it'd be pretty impossible to give 'em a shared history cuz Yelena was like 6 in 1993 & even later on, she was under the influence of chemical subjugation. The only thing I'm worried about is that they're gonna spark something new between them cuz well she's Black Widow & we know MCU's intellect regarding romance 😒 Anyway, Betty Ross was done dirty, it's like she doesn't even exist now 😶

After fertilizing the egg, james could've been gestated in a surrogate or an artificial womb. The only time that it’s used in ‘most’ games is during cinematic/story cutscenes. It’s rare to see mocap outside of that, like during gameplay. The only time this game uses it is during cinematic cutscenes, the character’s idle animations where they’re just standing around is made by hand. And any person can see that with ease if they’re a gamer. God of War Ragnorok definitely uses Mocap even during gameplay, you can tell that they’re movements are authentic and not computer generated. But many games don’t use that technique during gameplay, and it’s so easy to tell whether something is made by hand. They wouldn’t look so awkward if they were actually motion captured, they’re movements would match up with the dialogue. The last time it was used was during cutscenes, not gameplay.
