Very excited to see the clip from the upcoming episode “Karl jumps the EBike over the campfire” hidden amongst the cuts this week.

welcome to our neck of the woods. A little history for you guys. Firstly the Monto range used to be a very dangerous piece of road and still is to some extent and even not so many years back a log truck driver plummeted over the side about three turns down to his peril. Secondly, the Awoonga dam that Boynedale is situated at the top of is probably at its driest in a decade with the water usually right up along the river bank there and in the 2011/2013 floods actually went to around the floor level of the central toilet blocks, and finally when it comes to tourist attractions and the roads to them you can always rely on our regions councils to place the road closed signs as far away from the sensible notifying point as they can possibly manage. lol True story. I hope you enjoyed your stay and came into Gladstone for a look at the harbour and beaches while here. Safe and happy travels guys.

👍videos are getting more professional, driving over camera view and the drop off drive down the tracks turn around drive back shots, Katty gets the extra walking and dust😁, Karl how many times have you waited for Katty to walk back to the truck and drive off and stop and drive off again 🤣

Very typical of qld national parks, close a track or road or some sort of attraction for some menial reason and then just forget to reopen them, sometimes i think they think if they keep them closed long enough people will eventually forget about them and then they can eventually close them permanently, national parks just don't want people going into "our"national parks.
