They have worked great, several times now. If you are motoring or very rough sailing, they are hard to hear, but when you stop, you now about it. Cheers.
They upgraded the shaft seals to “ proper” hydraulic seals, but somehow they turned/ rolled in the housing. When they ordered the upgraded seals, they thankfully ordered a set of original ones as well. The fixed it on the spot, but it took them a day before they could return. They were trying to do the right thing, but it went bad, and then it cost us another 4 days in the Marina due to the bad weather. It has been working well since the rebuild, so that’s great 👍

Did the hydraulic workshop admit their error / oversight and fix the seal while you were waiting?

It was less than Bundy, at about $1000 per month. Daily rate is higher.
