Thanks, Taylor! This looks like one I'll definitely need to try the next time I meet with you crazy importers and your massive obscure game collections. I really like all the potential for tactical gameplay regardless of the quality of the cards you are dealt.
Ah I was afraid of this! I've never seen a reviewer were such a complicated shirt, and this is bargain bin! I saw one that was $1000 because the pattern was so complicated!
Thanks for a nother awesomeness video, Taylor! Love this card game, just wish it was available in the states! So many good trick taking games out there, but hard to get a hold of, hahahaha.
@ClaudeAndTaylor , a friend of mine helped me locate a few copies of Schadenfreude through the BGG Store, so I ended up ordering copy. Price was a little more costly than I would like, but it's going to be awesome getting the game to the table.
I love the video, but something seems off about the greenscreen. The weird outline that looks vaguely person-shaped. It's almost like you're hiding someone behind.....oh my gosh. This isn't the real Card Pasal. He's hiding behind the greenscreen, isn't he!?
I got it a bit ago before all the price markup, but that's an insane price! I'd recommend trying to proxy it with a deck first or trying it on PlayingCards.io
What's funny is we had a similar situation and that new player won by making the other 2 players bust haha! But they did at least know general trick taking. So maybe it's a better 'somewhat beginner trick taker' rather than a very first timer
It was, since they charge based on how complicated the pattern is. Dan Flashes is the store and they have this one shirt that costs $1000 cause the pattern's so wild. I want that one sooo bad
I appreciate this month's theme but I miss the pins as players.
Thanks so much!! It is tough with No Pin Included, but they'll be right back in May!! 😁🤞
I'll at least pin this comment to get some pins in 🙌😉
Amazing, wish some of these games were more broadly available!!
Thanks, Alanais! I hope so too!! I think there's a nice trend of these games getting brought over to other markets more and more. So here's hoping!

Oh totally, Corey!! I think this is the perfect slot for tactical gameplay that would be a blast to play next time! Cheers!
Tom wishes he looked so dapper in that hat. Best component drop ever!
Hahaa cheers Jim!! It was a blast to replicate!
The component drop was hilarious! Although, I see an oppurtunity was missed to use the cookies as the four players.
Thanks so much!! Ahhh, you're sooo right 😫 And they were right there tooo haha!!
I couldn't really focus on the review, your shirt was just so complicated and exactly my style.

Thanks so much, hecatesson!!! And yes, i hope schadenfreude comes out soon!! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

This intro!! 🤣 I feel like I met Card Pasal and Tee Garcia at PAX this year!! 🤔
Hahahaaa yes!! They're just like this video in real life!
@@ClaudeAndTaylor They were awesome to hang out with! Tell them both I say hi!
I love the video, but something seems off about the greenscreen. The weird outline that looks vaguely person-shaped. It's almost like you're hiding someone behind.....oh my gosh. This isn't the real Card Pasal. He's hiding behind the greenscreen, isn't he!?
AHHH WILL! SHHH don't spoil my industry SECRETS!!
How much is this game?? One person's selling a Japanese version for $120 on BGG.
I got it a bit ago before all the price markup, but that's an insane price! I'd recommend trying to proxy it with a deck first or trying it on PlayingCards.io
HA! That component drop!
Thanks Joe!! I only lost one component, so overall successful! 🙏😎
Love the setting of the game on the shelf and of course the legendary trick tower comb :)
Hahahaa thanks so much, Blaž!! You can't have a classic Card Pasal review without the comb right?!
You say good for newcomers. I taught this to someone who had never heard the term "trick-taking" and she did not get a positive score in any hand
What's funny is we had a similar situation and that new player won by making the other 2 players bust haha! But they did at least know general trick taking. So maybe it's a better 'somewhat beginner trick taker' rather than a very first timer
BRUH THE HAT😆
😏😏😏
Look at all those patterns! That shirt must have cost a fortune.

Sometimes the Internet is the greatest place on earth... This is one of those times.
I miss component drop so much 🥺
Me too!! It was so fun to watch! Funny enough, I lost a component from it and it was a bit to clean up, so maybe I see why he stopped haha!
Omg I love that shirt lolol
And I was so hoping that when you were making the pile ...along with oreos..you might have put socks on the pile too lolololol
Hahahaaaa the full stack! And the shirt is from 'I think you should leave with Tim Robinson'!
Do you like Oreos?
So much! I buy so many that I call them Andeos!
uncanny
Why thank you very much, Shawn!! 😏😎
Rahdo will then start to wonder why Taylor is running through his channel. 🥷
Hahaa totally!!! Rahdo has stopped by the channel for Awimbawe. So nice of him!
@ClaudeAndTaylor He ran through your channel? That is cool. Your channel is now an official candidate for game of the year. 🥷
