So happy to see the final production on this. I'm not surprised, based on previous games they've released, but it's such a relief to know I can get a reasonably-priced and improved Time Palatrix. Great video as always!

I’m still trying to enjoy trick taking games and this seemed very complicated from a first glance. Thank you for the well explained content I can’t wait to try this out! I would like to see a live play through though when these do get shipped, I know I’ll still be coming back with questions haha

Voodoo prince (Marshmellow test)
Trick-Taking in Black and White
Hearts (maybe, I've heard trying to avoid cards is tough to grasp as an intro trick-taking game)

How does that snowman player "get" to play blue there? Are you saying because that what's that player knows they'll win the past suit, with the red Trump card, then they know they can play the blue seven because they have no green, which the other two players had set up? But if they had never won the past truck, then that is 7 wouldn't have worked out, right?
Yep, I think you have it right! So, in the hypothetical, Snowman doesn't have any green, so they can play whatever. All the other cards have been played, so they know they'll win the first trick with the 10 red trump card. This mean what they play will actually be the lead card/suit for the trick. So, playing blue, they can make the other 2 players be off-suit.
You are also right, if they hadn't won the first trick with the red 10, the blue 7 move wouldn't work out because Candy Cane would have won the first trick, then led with green and the Snowman's blue 7 would have been off-suit.
I hope that helped clarify, but I think you are understanding correctly. This game can have some mind-bending moments like that!
