If the lake is really that trashed...you should host a meetup there that is a cleanup as well. Think it would be cool, and it would reduce the litter.
Agreed, i hate it when i go to fishing spots and they are trashed. I cant help but clean up at least some of it.

Here are some ideas for a Googan Squad meet-up / tournament at that lake for clean up purposes. To weigh-in any fish you have to bring a black garbage bag of trash back to the ramp with you. Maybe have some raffles with gear contributed by your sponsors, and for each bag of trash that someone brings back they get one entry in to the raffles. For something like that I'd ride around in my boat and pick up trash all day.

Trashy lakes usually mean lots of places to fish from bank. And anyone remember the Jon v AP challenge where loser had to walk up to random girl at mall and ask her out? Love the old Jon and Peric videos. The “legit ten pounder”video may have been my favorite. All Jon’s fault that Peric lost that fish btw. And bandito bug is killing it!

Hi Jon. I’m back as a subscriber after dropping ya back in your much younger days. I had no idea you are a wonderfully young 23 with a clear life plan and solid business based on recreation happening. Out of all the Googans, I am only able to watch your channel as the other guys just act, talk, or do things I find poor or plain annoying.
Since you didn’t mention it in the vid, you’ve been a Texas resident since all the massive flooding happened and all that garbage which should never get into the water in the first place has dumped itself into those trees and weeds because the water receded. I agree with another post that suggested you get a lake thing going on to collectively come together and clean up all that garbage and not get bitten by an alligator sunning itself.
LFG bugs me the most followed by Flair. I simply ignore the others, but respect the brand you guys have built. Does that make sense I hope? I’m simply expressing my opinion and why I enjoy your channel. My ‘thing’ was in music performances, recording studios, etc. except retail. I built my own small empire in that part of the world back in NJ, then started over again in Central Florida until my health failed. Whatever you do... NEVER LET YOUR HEALTH GRT OUT OF YOUR CONTROL IF POSSIBLE. I’d hate to see others forced to end their careers very early as I did because of what incompetent doctors did to me back in 1990 at age 30. I am curious how such young men as you and your friend are in this video can have enough money or credit to buy such top notch boats with most of the key add-ons? If you wouldn’t mind posting a general cost of the boat you have all the accessories, I’d be grateful to know if I ever get to fish from a great bass boat down here in Florida sometime before I die. Right now and for the past 16 months I’ve been fishing the brackish water canal behind my house and have caught the most insane variety of freshwater and saltwater fish, Blue Claw crabs, as well as keeping an eye out for the 6’ gator swimming in here. For your challenge from me as a beginner to a pro like yourself. Here is the challenge I face every day. I MUST fish from MY bank in my yard which is about 50 feet across. Of course I can cast much further, but sticking to my challenge question. I can’t move, I can’t use a boat of any floating object in the water, the water bottom is sand covered by moss and loaded with fallen trees, big tree roots sticking up, and even some concrete slabs or blocks partially exposed where I can feel my jig heads scrape across. Biggest PROVEN Largemouth Bass I know is in here is a near 6lb female in about one foot of water right along the bank ledge where it meets the water. I caught her at about 4am in pitch blackness with just my headlamp on my head. I used a lipless crank bait in see through shad color with a bunch of beads that make a heck of a racket in the water. The only other one even worth mentioning here was a 2.8lb I caught on a Jerkbait in a perch color pattern during the mid afternoon. My challenge if you wish to show up and fish, I’ll offer free room and board here in my second bedroom, OR just write back with how you would try to fish this massiv snag bottom and so far not a single bite on anything topwater. Not even your great Bandido Bug on any size EWG hook has gotten nibble yet your videos prove those baits work very well. So Jon, are ya up for such a unique challenge?? Any Googan up for this challenge?? I’m open to any reasonable suggestions I can try using mainly spinning gear as I try to learn how to baitcast without having each toss go 90 degrees across my body. Thanks for your time and fun videos. Apologies for such a lengthy post. I never stop fishing except when I’m eating or answering the call of nature. LOL
I think the bandito bug is so good becuz it replicates zoo-plankton. You could make other species. I know a few that look great for lures...

hey, I doubt Jon will read this but I was halfway through watching this video and I left to fish, I made three casts with a bandito bug and caught a bass that was almost five pounds, love googan baits, I would drink rigged beer but I am not old enough :)
