I love how you got permission from the living decendants of the house / your friend... but still asked permission from the actual owners of the home that passed away. That is so respectful, and it shows how good of a person you are!
Actually that's asian custom.. Besides its respectful, it's because usually people ask permission so the spirit of the deceased ones would not going to disturb the guests
nomad san there are gloves you can put over your bike handle bars that are heated to keep your hands warm when driving you should get some or if you have PObox, I will send you some and also i will buy you a nice winter jacket is there a way i can do this.
Robin-san, I've watched your channel from when you were only 800 subs. It's been fantastic seeing your channel grow and the best thing is you haven't changed, you're still a beautiful soul, humble and kind. Thanks to you I'm getting to see a country that's been on my bucket list for ages, so I'm living vicariously through you, so thanks. Keep on smiling. Love from the UK
A good trick if you don't have a winter jacket when riding, stuff some newspaper or a plastic trash bag under your shirt, it blocks the wind and seals the heat in. It will make some good survival content! 🙂
nomad san just a tip. please not to go in nights prefectures to prefectures especially when you broke down its hard to find shops to rescue you along the way even if you can it cost you a lot. so its better to go in daytimes when you leave.
My heart breaks for the old man who died, and also keep having heart Robin-san, we are allways waching your videos and supporting your journey, never give up. Guys keep liking the video so the algorythm recommends Robin's channel to other people, never forget-san!
What a beautiful home, What I would give to visit there and stay the night. I love the view, the furniture and the old Japanese Grill. Very cool! You can tell that was a home, with love and history. RIP to those parents.
- We're really feeling the homeless struggle in this video! - People have been asking for a moped tank fill up scene for ages and you finally delivered 🙏 - I hope your friend is doing OK. Losing your parents is very hard.
Please, but a decent parted thermal fleece hat & some bike mitts to reduce cold fatigue & up your comfort levels. What socks are you wearing? decent wool bike socks breathe well so likely will be good for 4 days+ even with trainers, you need to address the cold season with a clothing adjustment to your travel kit
Not something that is mindboggling, but I still find it fascinating if Robin-san has a Saipan accent that locals can immediately tell that he is not really from Japan.
I stayed for a few days once in a friend's parents' empty house with no power in the winter. The really wild part was trying to take a shower in the cold, because the water WAS on; I probably shouldn't have done that part but I was young and resilient! The key is having another person to share warmth with 😂😂
Great video Robin-San. Great content. You were so respectful (as always) and being able to stay at your friend's deceased father's home, what a gift for you, especially with a cold. Keep warm my friend! We look forward to seeing more! Keep Pushing!
Another great video from Nomad-San! Love seeing you add more stickers from everywhere you’ve been. I also really enjoyed seeing that abandoned home. I’ve been doing some research into purchasing one in hopes to move there some day.
Watching your adventures is always fun and you're such an inspiration. Wish I could tune in more often. I was today years old, when I learned you're from "Saipan". I always thought you're from Tokyo. 😅
Hello Nomad San!! Thank you for the great videos! So much respect for that cold ride, I felt that. Please take good care of yourself and travel safely 🙏 cheering for you from Austria/Europe.
Nomad Push is one of my favorite TH-camrs now. I just know we would be great friends if we ever met. Robin San is a great guy and I am thankful he takes us on adventures with him. Bird San please buy his merch! I like every video and I’m subscribed to help the algorithm. 200K is the goal so we can buy more Coke San even though it isn’t good for us! 🤲 🥤
Corn soup, the underrated cheap hero! Here's hoping next winter is van life so you have the cabin heater! Even the all-enclosed shelter from the outside will help a lot. Also it's okay if you order a prefecture sticker online! As long as you have video evidence you've been there it still counts haha. So if you find you can't find a prefecture sticker one day, please don't stress about it! We're all watching your journey and supporting you Robin, whatever goals you have set for yourself. You know what they say about plans, they never survive contact with the enemy. Life might not be our enemy, but it always throws surprises and challenges.
Robin san, for biking in winter time (from one moped driver to another lol), invest in a rechargeable heated jacket and gloves! It will help soooo much!
Lol I was just asking about the whole winter situation in the last video 😂 I can't imagine how bad it must be driving a moped in the cold, I really hope you find something thick and comfy to wear so you don't catch a cold :)
The best jacket to wear when it is cold and you are on a motorcycle is a brand of jacket called Carhartt. They aren't cheap but I think they are the best around. They are around $170.00.
Hi Robin-san! Thank you for your video, it really soothed my horrible day. I am still concerned over the winter coming, Tent-san will not be able to keep you warm during cold winter nights!!! Please let us know how you plan on keeping warm so that we might help you in our way. I am also very pleased to see the chanel growing, i pray everyday for your well being and hope that you will reach 200k by the end of the year. Miyazaki is such a nice cityyyyy i wish to visit this town when i travel in Japan. Your friend's house is also so nice! you can FEEL history in there. Is Patreon available in Japan? Keep it up Robin-san! Ganbatte!!
This guy has pretty good cardio for an overweight 39 year old dude. There's no way that I could ride a skateboard for 7 miles without having some kind of heart problem. I still don't quite see the point of all of this nomadic stuff at his age but you got to give him props. I have lived the way he's living before but it's only because I had no choice. Even now I'm on a very minimum budget but I have my own place to stay in. I don't have my own house but I live in a duplex with a roommate. That's about all I can afford especially since my city has become very popular with hipsters and so all of the rents have gone up a lot.🎉
hey nomad san just wanted to say again I really enjoy your videos man after a super long day at work its always so great to get home and watch your videos.
It's been a tough season to ride a bike. Buy a raincoat at a convenience store, wear it inside your jacket, and roll up a newspaper inside it. It's a convenient and fast-acting way to protect yourself from the cold. Don't catch a cold!😉
I just came across your channel today. I was looking up Japan videos and one of your videos popped up and I clicked and now I’m hooked 🙏🏼😂🤙🏼✊🏼 I am from Hawaii and love Japanese culture and cuisine. Always did. So much pride and respect. Discipline and dedication. The world has alot to learn from the Japanese people and it’s cultural significance. I will make it there someday and do a country tour just like yourself. A dream come true…..🤙🏼🙏🏼👍🏼✊🏼❤️ Much Love and Aloha and all the best wishes, good health and safety on your journey.
😊You came up with the best travel idea for your channel ! Love to see the additional Prefectures stickers added to your bike ! I will be here watching all the way through your year long explore. 😊
With the cold Season aproaching it might be time to Travel during the day and stay warm during nighttime, don't take unnecessary risks, watch your health and have proper sleep. Im sorry for your friends loss 🙏🏻 was nice of him to let you stay at the place, so nice to see how respectful the dead are treated, asking them for permission to stay, i lived in a couple very old houses, they can be pretty noisy, sad that without electricity you probably dont have warm water and stuff like that but its still better than sleeping outside. Still funny, imagine the neighbours seeing someone sneaking around 🥷🏻entering from like the terrace 🤣 the Furniture looked so cool and old fashioned they are provblably worth a lot if restore.
Good video. I do not understand the asking for permission to stay there with the candle thing but it looks very nice. I wish i knew more about that. Editing is getting better still. Everyone seems to look out for their neighbours which is nice. I sorry to hear about your friends parents. That is sad :(
Awesome video. So many mini-adventures. You work very hard. I think you are going to get many subscribers soon. May your friend’s parents rest in peace.
Show more detail on how culture there is different & life is different. Process to get gas, do gyms there offer alternatives to shower, are people relationships & eating out in restaurants how does it work, are people on street open to strangers?
wow nice scooter and equipment you got there, i has mine too, it's yamaha Nvx haha kinda big scooter and i like your adventure NOMAD-SAN i'm willing to do too, driving, explores places now i can't but may very soon haha have a nice day and hello from vietnam 🇻🇳
Thank you for your videos as always. I work with the elderly. I've had a previous job helping them maintain their mobility. The room you were in was likely a final home for a fine old fellow in his last days. Everything around him, I assume, he became dependent on as his world shrank. Your friend is very kind for letting you stay there. I can only imagine the extensive memories that are tied to that place. You're buoyed and encouraged by generations.
Make sure you get enough rest in between, and stay warm 🙏 Maybe you can plan your route, call ahead and see where to sleep ahead of time. All the best 🌟
Maybe you should invest in some better cold weather gear considering you are riding a moped in it? Perhaps something for your face/head to keep the heat in better! I hope the journey goes better Robin! I love watching your videos!
