Thanks for the kind words - our team is happy to help 🙏🏻
Some moron are just dumb
I believe this is one of the best videos you have ever made, mate! Absolutely fabulous structuring and concept!
Possibly the most clear yet densely packed video I've ever seen on rings training. This is pure gold from start to finish. I've been following fitness professionals for 15 years across various disciplines and this video is truly unique.
FR && i have his programs !
this is perfect. just got my gymnastic rings 2 days ago
As soon I bought rings my training became a game changer, the fact they always move gives you more accountability and good quality workouts as a consequence. If I could only advice just one thing I'd say to buy a couple of gymnastics rings!
Its literally entire upper body gym
How do you avoid elbow injury with rings brother?
@@stevelauda Typically when people encounter things like golfer's elbow from doing bar pull/chin ups they switch to rings as a way to avoid it. The free rotation of rings allows your arms to move in a more natural movement pattern. I'm not saying you can't injure yourself with rings mind you, but they're much more forgiving on the joints.
@@stevelaudatrain wrist extension
@@dak.5.123exactly me, golfers elbow. Haven't stopped on the rings, love it.
Used to push too hard into the fingers on pushups, switching to rings your always stacking joints.
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you so much.
Amazing bro, I love how collected are your videos!
Amazing content as always Daniel, learned so much from you!
Thank you
Thanks for another phenomenal video, Daniel!
Exactly what I need. Many thanks 🙏🏼
Perfect video! Thanks Daniel 🙂
Thanks for inspiration and always great advices!!!
Just bought BBR. Been on it for only 2 weeks now, but I'm loving it!! I'm not new to working out, but this program is kicking my butt! Really fun, amazing pump. Looking forward to what's next!
i love your rings videos so much thank you so much
Seeing you at your beginning is such a throwback. I was still living in Oz and trying to figure out a way to exercise that aligns with my work schedule and boom here you are with your consistency, curiosity and humour.
just what I needed!!
Thank you! 🙏 very informative and guide for beginners like me.
More power and support to your channel!
-🇨🇦👊✊🏼
Fantastic video. I was inspired to purchase my first set of rings, and have been practicing support holds for the last three days! I plan to use this video to build a comprehensive rings routine for myself. Perhaps a follow-up video with a workout plan/proposed sets and reps would be a useful compliment? All the best. Thanks Daniel!
Man! you are a true inspiration, Not talking just about Fitness/Skills, But the way you spread knowledge is truly amazing
Perfect timing. Gonna be busting these out in the park!
Rings are endgame! So good for the joints and strength. Slightly steeper integration time but so worth it.
Thanks Daniel! 🤞😎💯
needed this! thanks
This gave me so much confidence and knowledge. Clean instruction and rings are definitely my fav cali equipment. Thanks Daniel
Great video!! Very informative you always provide valuable knowledge, thank you sir 🙏
Thanks for uploading rings exercises
this felt really pertinent given i just bought my first set of rings last week lol. dips and push ups are so much more challenging with rings, so i will definitely give the progressions a try. thanks
Thanks!
very useful tutorial, daniel. thanks.
Great vid sir! 💪
Rings are a game changer. I haven’t touched weights in over a year and decided to lift last week. I was surprised how easy it was to bench my max after not touching weights for a long time.
Great Video, it was very informative and quality production!
thanks King
Thank you for this amazing tutorial. I love you, brother!
Well explained, congrats!
Great, great, great content! ❤
Thanks needed this vid
I have purchased the Body By Rings awhile ago and this video is exactly what I need to slowly getting back to it after my first failed attempt. I just wish that instead of just short clips of each excercise video which are great, I would also like to at least get a full video, one for push routine and one for pull routine for beginners.
My new rings just arrived today. This is the perfect video!! Thank you daniel 😁
I can't even imagine how many mental and physical barriers this man has to surpass to deliver such high quality professional content. I deeply respect you as a athlete, professional and man. Love and respect from Brazil.
Awsome! Thanks!
I've build more muscles with Rings then any other type of training. I LOVE RINGS.
Merci infiniment pour ces explications.
After a decade of calisthenics, at 34, im still learning a whole bunch of stuff from your awesome videos. Thanks dude!
Awesome, very good , thank uou for posting such a great video ..very full ,
Your Videos inspired me to start Training with rings! During the pandemic I was able to train nearly as usual (except swimming) and maintain a good physique. I hope you know how much your work means to people all over the world.
Thanks and greets from Germany
Just....Amazing ❤
I love your channel its motivating and informative at the same time!
And whats the most important you don't forget the beginners!
Thx for your hard work and awsome videos :)
Merci excellente vidéo 👍
I just bought rings last night lol. I've been using trx at my gym so thought I'd get some. They're no joke def want to master the movements.
Awesome video Daniel. I'm sure this video will help a ton of people realise they must get a set of rings.
Sensational video.
Thanks for doing a beginners video and comparisons. Something I need to see is how hard it is and what the body naturally does on points where it's weak. I'm going to start this in a fortnight when I have my rings
Awesome content from and the Oz background is a nice change from the other channels
At age 39 I'm sick of the weights and wanted a new challenge,I am in love with rings!
Saludos desde Uruguay he aprendido mucho desde que encontré tu canal gracias por tu aporte👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙏🙏🙏
Your video helped me getting my first ring muscle up! Finally thanks man
Great video
Tank l learn are lot
Saludos desde Colombia. Excelente video
Hi Daniel, Thanks to you , I've been using rings for about 18 mths and love them ! I'm 56 and can manage 12 good reps on ring push ups in one set...my first try I couldn't do one! Do all my workout on rings and love them!! Easy on the joints and so much harder.
Cheers Gregg
Similar here. Got myself rings for my birthday beginning of the year. Turned 53 and made a New Year’s resolution to get in shape.
I’ve been doing pull-ups, dips, rows and pushups every second day and running a few K every other. Wow, do I feel and look so much better, unbelievable.
I was away on holiday for a week now, my first break from exercise since I started. At one place I stayed there was a steel pipe construction perfect height for pull-ups, but quite thick. Couldn’t believe it when I did 19 and a half. 😁
Just started Body by Rings, always had a pair of rings but didn't train with them much.. mostly street workouts using the pull-up bar and the parallel bars.
It's time to build muscle and gain strength with the rings!
Yeah Brother seriously, this is the best tutorial content I've seen, and I've seen a lot. You are so good at demonstrating it, so clear, so authentic, wow.
And then this funny moment at 2:57 with your blowing mind 😂
Love to you, keep on rocking!
best video❤
i always shake like im having a seizure when im doing push on rings lol
LOL. Same !
Hey Daniel,
If you could do a Short sometime demonstrating how to setup the band for assists, that would be great. I've tried to setup the larger band for muscle-ups and it always feels a little awkward, similar when I'm trying to do any ring-assisted movements.
Thanks!
Best youtuber on fitness.
Class apart.
🤩
Such a good video
Gym rings coupled with some resistance bands is genius. It does not require much space, is cheap, and you can travel with it. And, you don't need to go to a gym and pay a monthly membership sub.
Can we train legs and lower back effectively with rings as well?
Great timing Daniel, thnx. After surgery on my back Im itching to get back to training after stitches removed, and I'm thinking back to basic rings is the best way to get back quickly to past form without risk to wound!!😀
JOLLY GUD SHOW!!!
excellant
Love your channel and I’m subscribed…looking forward to starting w/the rings and wish I had done so earlier!
Question…w/a hand size between medium and large, do I want the 1.1” or the 1.25” ring size? Sorry if that has already been asked, I haven’t seen much only that many gymnast have smallerish hands and use the Olympic size of 1.1”. That the smaller give some advantage for Pull and the larger better for push…but that’s all I’ve seen…it may not matter, but thought I’d ask.
thank you!
That is perfect, just got my rings...
Awesome video. Would you say that one should master push ups on the floor before starting with ring push ups (incline) or can even absolute beginners start with ring push ups?
I am an absolute beginner when it comes to the rings. I got about half way through the most basic progressions before my body said enough. I am looking forward to giving myself a day or two to recover before coming back and trying the next half. Lol.
It is an amazing, well broken down video you have. I am looking forward to see where I can go from here.
@TheAnonymousIsAnonymous1234 There's no need to do that when I have a pair of gymnastic rings and a park. It's a waste of money.
Hello daniel. What do you think about overcoming isometrics for one arm pullups? I mean where you stand on a chair in the mid way point for example and pull as hard as you can for 6-8 seconds for 6-8 sets. They could be valuable to prepare your body for the real deal.
I am a beginner on gymnastic rings and i feel good , palms are getting injured but i buyed
gloves now it is perfect
nah bro throw those gloves away and start on a hand strength and wrist strength and flexibility routine
I changed my gym routine to rings and maaaan, you can really feel it. Hahahaha. Life-changing. I appreciate you shared this, man.
Thank you very much.
Thank you Daniel, this is EXACTLY what I needed. Do you have a guide/ video that can provide guidance on the form for the pull-ups ?
I have your BBW program
Thanks for the vid, jsut got some rings as will be travelling for work and want to work out. Whats the best way to pack/wrap your rings up for travel where its quick and easy to unravel and get setup and equally pack them away nealty for trvel purposes on a daily basis. Could you do a quick video or tutorial on a few of the common ways other than just rolling the band up. I've seen a few images of something band wrapped around the ring and then lcoked off soemhow but cant figure it out. TIA
i learned a lot from you. Much respect from Kosovo ,Albania.
Hello Sir, Great video. I purchased a set of rings but how do you secure the exercise bands to the rings. Thank you Al
Thank you for your videos. That is a strange name for the exercise "skin the cat" 🐈.
But you gave me some bases that I could use to improve my pull up eventually when I got my golfers elbow healed. With rings it is less demanding on the elbow, I think, but it feels that way.
I like your really upright posture during the rows.
damn u uploaded it the day i was teaching my girlfriend basics of rings, nice timing
You deserve every view you get.
Could you make a vedio about knock knee. I am facing this problem.
How do you connect rubber bands to the rings? And which type of bands are suitable? Many thanks!
Bought rings few days back to built neutral grip strength for track sprint cycling. I can easily do dips on bar and I was totally flabbergasted I couldn't even do one dip on rings. Later on got to know why this is the case. Did L sits instead and my core burnt next day unlike anything else from sissy ab workout. Makes me realize abs are best targeted with compound movement. This channel is exactly what I needed for beginner ring workout. Glad you tube recommended as my own search led to some other channels. How long till I can perform my first dip?
What ring exercises you recomend for people having problems with bulging disc L4-L5?
I love you brother ❤
Yet another awesome video from the legend himself! Why do you rotate your wrists at the end of a rep of push-ups or dips? Is there something I'm missing if I lock out my elbows but fail to rotate my wrists outwards?
It actives chest more
It also forces you to have full range of motion. No chance you can rotate the rings if your arms aren't locked out at the top.
it comes from gymnastics straight arm strength, when the elbow is locked then naturally the comfortable position is with supination of the hand.
supine grip for all straight arm push type movements on rings is the usual.
Thanks for the advice folks! Very helpful.
This technique makes sure the elbows lockout. Having full range of motion sets consistent form standards.
I'm 68, I'm doing some weights to build strength. muscle and , so I'm told , help maintain ageing muscle.
I just got some rings the other day after watching this video.
Is there anything I should not be trying as an absolute Ring Rookie. I can manage 3 X 10 dead hang pretty early in using rings, so we have a start . Static holds...wow that's a hard one
Cheers
Neil
Hi, can all these exercises also be done with TRX band?
As someone who's been training calisthenics a long time, I wish this video had existed a decade ago.
How do you loop bands on both hoops like that pm the assisted pull-up
Rings were the best $25 I ever spent on ebay. Totally worth it.
Was a bit surprised to see the cat one since I do that at my gym for a bit of fun, and I didn't know it was a beginner move
