I am involving a research project in which I should simulate a three-point bending test for ceramics for example Al2O3. As you know, ceramics don’t have a plasticity stage and after pass through the elastic region, they ruptured. I was wondering if you’d mind letting me know which parameters as a coefficient are important in my simulation to define them...tensile strength, elasticity modulus, compressive strength
My work is also on flextural test simulation of composites. Will anyone tell me Applying load on reference point is correct option? While in experimental model load is applied on whole top cylinder
My experimental result of my work gives Max force of 30 newton but simulation results give 300 newton. Where will be the problem can anyone help please

Thanks a lot! Exactly what I was looking for!
Don't forget subscribe and like in this channel...Thanks
wow ! you're amazing .. it helped me a lot .. tx you all .
Nice tutorial, thank you. Instead of plotting the point load you should plot the y-directional reaction force in the RP. This way it won't be 0.
sir how to provide slip property between concrete and reinforcement
does this video have audio?
hi ,
dimensions in mm or inches ?
Hello. I have a problem in Abaqus model. May you help me? What is your major? mechanic or civil?
hye, my name is epul.. how to contact you because my final year project about abaqus flexural test.. hope u can share knowledge with me
Where did you come from property? Thanks
I get the elastic property from tensile test...
this plastic property of fiberglass composites

Sorry, I mean the source, please
exactly

If the top cylinder is modelled as a rigid body, it does not matter where you apply the load.
Paweł Stabla thank you very much

is this a joke ?
