- Our dog, Ruby, doesn’t miss much! She is what you could call a ‘velcro dog’ or a ‘shadow dog’. No matter where we are in the house, she is right there too! This video is a slideshow of some times we’ve caught this cutie keeping a close eye on us. 👀
Her nemesis is a closed door. She wants to know what everyone is doing at all times!

Although both have passed away, I had a mini-Schnauzer (JazzMan) and a German Shepherd (DeeDee). The mini-Schnauzer was exactly like Ruby. He wanted to know where I was at all times whether inside or outside. The Shepherd was similar but she did not follow me around. She did, however, know where I was at all times. She would sleep either outside my bedroom or at the top of the stairs. If I was in a room watching TV and got up, she would only follow me if I turned off the TV as long as I was not gone too long. JazzMan...oh no, he followed me everywhere and when I went to bed, he was either on the side of my bed or in the bed. I miss my 'running buddies' so very much.
Frank - JazzMan and DeeDee sound like truly wonderful dogs. Jazzman was right by your side, while DeeDee kept a watchful eye...such faithful friends! I read somewhere that in Germany (some time ago) it was usual for farmers to have both a Mini Schnauzer and a German Shepard. The Mini would be the 'watch-dog' and alert to anything suspicious, then the German Shepard would be the 'guard-dog' and take care of business, so to speak. It always makes me smile to think of the two breeds working together. :-)

My Charlie is always watching me. He is my little shadow. When I get my car keys and purse he turns his head towards the wall. He makes me feel so bad. He owns my heart.💋♥️
Schnauzer's are very observant. They want to know what is going on 24/7. My adorable Charlie does the same thing. It's their intelligence that makes them inquisitive. I ♥️ your Schnauzer's as well as my Charlie.♥️🐾
Yes! They never miss a thing and want to know where everyone is at all times. If Ruby ever 'loses' my husband or I, she will search the house until she finds us. When someone leaves we have to make sure she knows or else she will keep searching for them!
Just lost my 6th schnauzer at the end of January. She had one ear up and one ear down too. Schnauzers are the best and I am incomplete without her. Even with her dementia she would try to find me. Thank you for sharing yours.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. She sounds like she was very dedicated to you and loyal. No matter how long we have them, it’s always too soon when they pass on. ❤️
@@linzella sorry for your loss I've lost several over the last 10 years or so different breeds and it never goes away I think about them everyday almost Keep On Keepin On😘😘

So cute,, I just got a rescue schnauzer in December 8 years old oh, and he is the same he goes everywhere in the house doesn't let me out of his site so funny I laughed at your videos so cute

@@linzella I am enjoying him a lot since I live alone and during this pandemic even more so....my cats(I have 7)also like him most of the time, they like to rub all over him and for this he stands very still how cute!.😂🤣😘
