- So this is my workaround for the Fuji X-T3 recording limit to shoot live shows when the camera is set far away. Seems like a no brainer concept but i couldn't find any reference to it online, or maybe i'm just horrible at searching for things, anyhoo.
This the cheapest way i could work it out with the least amount of extra kit to carry/buy.
Intervalometer used is:
"JJC Timer Remote Control Shutter Release for Fuji Fujifilm X-T3"

Let me know if this is useful to anybody else than me, or that this is common knowledge and i'm just slow.
Dude this is genius. Every other idea for getting around the time limit involves buying like 5 things for hundreds of dollars and this achieves the same result.
Brilliant! I would have never thought to do this. Such a simple solution to a really annoying problem. Great work man!
Man you're a Genius! I wish i have seen your video before my next gig tomorrow! Will be useful for the next one . THANK YOU!
very grateful for this information :)
Good stuff. Was not really wanting to buy an Atomos!
Oh that's a great idea!
smart !! cheers !
thank you for the hint! I also record live shows and was wondering if I should ditch the xt-30 for another camera more suitable for the job. will try this approach to see if will do its job in the field.
Now that the x-h2s has the limit removed will be interested if that will flow down to all future models…

Hi. I m using xt 30.
Can you tell me , since external recorders like ninja are really costly.
So if i use elgato or avermedia capture card , then also can i record unlimited in my pc or it will not work and it will only help me going livestream .
Pl suggest
How costly is the average ninja?
hey there, sorry for late reply, i'm not familiar with either the elgato or avermedia capture cards unfortunately so i don't know. Cheers
