I'm really glad to see someone get super worked up over an accident, its nice to see someone stay calm and not let it ruin their day, great videos my man keep up the great work
I didn’t grow up with dad or anyone who fished, but I am a dad now with two young boys and your videos really help to teach me about fishing technics so I can teach my boys.
I was waiting for this ... Here in Belize we can barely come out due to COVID-19. Sunday is a dead day here and we(my son and I) were literally waiting for a Sunday video!!! Thanks man, made our day!!!
This is a Toadfish rod. Looks like a medium light to medium fast rod. It's like a 7.6 in length and holds up to 25lbs. Toadfish rods are simply amazing. Light, Strong and versatile ..
Awesome video. Your easy going response to the boat getting hit speaks highly of your character. Those were truly monsters. People give Jack Crevalle a low rating sometimes too, but I love catching them.
Just curious, why did you go with the heavier fluoro leader? I'm newer to fishing and I'm trying to figure it all out. I understand fluoro is less visible but is there a reason to go with a heavier fluoro?
You should definitely look into getting an kayak! It would be a great investment, you can use it for a lot of applications. Such as using it on the flats, backwater creeks, and you can fish in areas where boats can’t. Don’t be surprised if you end up using it more than your boat lol
In a yr boat stoen and now a boat hit. Bad luck but come to St Petersburg and turn your luck around. Skyway State park pier. Could go there then hit Ft Desoto. Clearwater is another good area just 20 mins away. You can catch grouper, snapper, Snook, Tarpon, trout, and Reds without a boat.
Go fish at the North and South Sunshine Skyway Fishing Pier in Tampa. You can catch some 10-12 inch Mangrove snapper, Spanish mackerel, Keeper Gag grouper, sometimes red grouper, and some big White Grunts. Make sure that you get some Greenbacks which are also known as Pilchards and some pin fish for bait. If you’re willing to target Spanish Mackerel, the best things to catch them on are any type of jig, Bucktail Jighead, Jerk Bait, Lure, Etc.
How about... a big 1 oz. inline spinner and see what happens in the salt water. I saw a huge 1 oz. pink rooster tail for sale a while ago and was really tempted to get one for fumbling around at the beach or something. Didn't get around to it though.
Stumbled across you when i was looking for local fishing from my neck of the woods. Im from Mobile but I've been working on aircraft carriers in Virginia for about 3 years now. Great commentary. Wish I was there in every video I've seen! Lol. Enjoy life brother.
Sorry to hear that about your boat. Could you fish the Orange Beach pass bridge while it’s being repaired? Or maybe even the Gulf Shores state park pier?
go to Archie Glover boat ramp, down the dirt road, doesnt matter which path you choose it all goes the same way, and fish off the sea wall, theres a bunch of Spanish, trout, and you'll see 30+ lb black drum tailing!
Come to Jacksonville and will take you out on the boat for some monsters. Been hitting St Augustine alot lately and catching absolute beasts. Anytime you can make trip your welcome and will take you out and you can film.
If you can get your hands on a kayak head down to cedar key or Bradenton. Phenomenal fishing there right now. Hung a 38” black drum out of my kayak last time out! Phenomenal vid!
Just moved to Niceville from Louisiana and would love to book a charter with you sometime in the future after all of this COVID stuff passes. Where would I go to book a charter with you ?
Man I can’t stand people who get a boat and don’t bother to learn how to operate it before hitting the water. I understand accidents happen, but that’s ridiculous
Hey my friend can you please give me the stats on the hardware you're using like rod, reel, line, etc. That pole looks small but obviously it can take a load. The more specific you can be the better. Great video!! Great action!!
Hey man i love your videos, I installed all the garage doors, wire shelving, fabric shield, and insulation at the devilliers apartments in down town in 2018. I would love to possibly take a trip with you one day. Im a pcola native and could possibly put you on some fish as you could do the same. Wear them shallow water monsters out in chicko babay!!
I have a 15' carolina skiff in savannah Georgia and I know there's a lot of good fishing out there but I haven't found my own spots but it would be nice if someone could show me where to look and the technique to catch fish that would be cool
Maybe borrow a kayak and try to paddle out and wade fish? I’m unsure if you have flats up in Pensacola but wade fishing down on the Indian River is a whole bunch of fun.
I do like that boat. Not very fancy !! And not too shabby ! Perfect !
If Your boat is still getting fixed now would be a good time to check out that microskiff You got!

There is definitely some monsters there for sure

Thanks for watching!

You should do a beach fishing catch and cook challenge. I haven’t ever seen you do beach fishing and I think it would be fun and interesting

While your boat is in the shop, I'd get yak motley to lend you his kayak! 😉👍
👍
You’re a godsend for us Pensacola natives that need fishing spots 🙏🏻
What's that remote in you hand? Is it for the GoPro?
came here to ask same question but at 4:20 it shows him clicking then the boat moves so im thinking its for his motor
WOW, Love fishing drum! This looks like so much fun!
Huge! Your taking the boat thing a lot better than I would have! Great video
Thank you Brent. Can you please talk about your Penn spinfisher and carnege II setup and model please.
Mondos the best new word you’ve unlocked
Just curious, why did you go with the heavier fluoro leader? I'm newer to fishing and I'm trying to figure it all out. I understand fluoro is less visible but is there a reason to go with a heavier fluoro?
Flouro dosent do anything special its just a marketing gimmick just use mono
@@brandont3675 I thought fluoro sinks, doesn't have line memory, doesn't get weather damaged, doesn't refract light?

Monstas on fairly light tackle !!! "We're gonna need a bigger 'net' !!! " 😂😂😂
Pensacola pier for kings and tarpon early in the morning , or if not bob sikes bridge tons of mangroves and mackerel 👌🏾

Mr. Brant witch toadfish rod do you have? I’m looking at buying one. I’m constantly on the water and have been Leary with their rods.
It's a good day when AnglerUp with Brant posts!!
What kind of setup (rod and reel ) are you fishing?
Do some “public” fishing. Bob sikes, piers, inlets, beach etc. stuff your common man can get to
One of my favorite vids yet!
How about... a big 1 oz. inline spinner and see what happens in the salt water. I saw a huge 1 oz. pink rooster tail for sale a while ago and was really tempted to get one for fumbling around at the beach or something. Didn't get around to it though.
I think you are a very underrated channel and you deserve a millions subs! 👊😎
Also sry to hear about ur boat
“Keep watching other TH-camrs. Keep hearing mondo. Does this count for mondo?” WHILE THE FISH IS A WHOLE WHALE 😂 love the vids brother
Good luck my man hope you get a mondo
9:06 that is a nice one. Mondo.... you must be watching Lake Fork Guy. lol
What a great day! Thanks for sharing
Easily the calmest I’ve ever seen someone to learn their boat has been damaged. If only everyone was as even keeled.
You should fish the rocks live bait where the waters clearer or close ocean or channel close to open water with cut bait later brant
Dude what setup are you using on the smaller reel? What is it?
Which model Toadfish rod were you using on this trip? - Thanks Jeff
Very nice drums and keep the videos coming. Take care and God bless.

You should try out okaloosa island. Fishing is pretty good there and What kind of line do you use?
I’ve got a kayak on weekly bayou you can use! Tarkiln has been producing some good specs and keeper reds.
Sorry to hear that about your boat. Could you fish the Orange Beach pass bridge while it’s being repaired? Or maybe even the Gulf Shores state park pier?
Come to Nassau county in Florida just outside Jacksonville and fish gorge McGrady fishing bridge
I absolutely love fishing on that bridge. I’ve lost some monsters on that bridge but I’m coming back there for more fights!

go to Archie Glover boat ramp, down the dirt road, doesnt matter which path you choose it all goes the same way, and fish off the sea wall, theres a bunch of Spanish, trout, and you'll see 30+ lb black drum tailing!
We come to Pensacola a good bit. My friend I stay with lives right on Chico Bayou. I would love to go fishing with you one time.
Down here in rotunda there are some great land freshwater tarpon and snook spots.
Hit fort pierce for some stud snook, reds, or off shore marlin/sails etc!
Yo someone else from fort pierce
Can you get another motor
Brant could you make a video on bank fishing in Pensacola? I don’t have a boat and live in the Pensacola and some bank fishing tips would be awesome.
I'd like to get that black drum brant hooked you make it look easy
You should visit Panama City beach and fish there. Russell fields pier and the bridge at Capt. Andersons.
Come to Jacksonville and will take you out on the boat for some monsters. Been hitting St Augustine alot lately and catching absolute beasts. Anytime you can make trip your welcome and will take you out and you can film.
You should drive down to daytona beach and fish the jetty at ponce inlet. Or the Tamoka area. I have extra kayaks lol
great vid, thanks for sharing sir !
Great video as usual. Do you still have the river boat? Possible summer river/creek challenge? Please keep the videos coming.
That's some nice flip casting, 2 casts right under those tree branches.
Trying to guess the weight, were those guys 20lbs or so?
Snook stacked up along the beaches down here in SWFL from marco island to captiva if want to take a trip for some land fishing
Where do you buy frozen blue crab? Thanks

It's possible they let someone else drive.

Sorry you had to wake up to that. Still managed to get a vid... Tight lines!!!

You should come down to Hilton head island South Carolina I could show you some spots to catch tarpon, redfish, flounder and more
You guys crack me up. We are crazy for black drum here where I live. You all catch them right off the dock! 😆 they are delicious to eat.
Nice rod and reel 😍👍
I think you should take the lil river boat back out and try some black water slams
do you make your vids the same day that you post them
My 1st video seeing of yours, have you considered a kayak?
I caught a monster drum at the cleaning station at day break Marina sight fishing from the dock
What is the remote clicker for?
what kind of rods u use
I have always wanted to see you do a road side video in Pensacola area, seems like the perfect time now.
Was thinking for something on foot, maybe try some light tackle beach snook fishing down in tampa or something
Great episode
I live here in sanibel, you should try blind pass captiva for snook
Awesome vid!
Maybe borrow a kayak and try to paddle out and wade fish? I’m unsure if you have flats up in Pensacola but wade fishing down on the Indian River is a whole bunch of fun.
Come up to the Shenandoah. I’m sure your boat is fixed by now but it will be worth it.
...No boat needed...
Do u know the wreck numbers in Pensacola bay
