I bought the 2022 speed pro I must say I am loving this 18x20 string pattern. If your shots are flat or flat with some topspin you’ll love it. I changed up from the speed mp, I really had to overclock the topspin to keep it in. With the pro I can really hit through the ball. Also I have a single hand back hand and the extra weight helps for the plow. If your a two handed topspin backhand then possible 16x19 will do more for you. 10 UTR player
Nice info and exacly how I feel about the Speed Pro & MP. Great point about the one handed backhand works better with the heavier Pro version and also with the flatter shots.
Great video. Been on the Speed MP ASP model from a while back. And been on the market to replace them. Picked up the Boom Pro and really liked it. Easy to use. Nice review comparing Speed to Boom Pro models.
thanks for this review (and the great one about the MPs versions); I'm in the process of testing a new frame for me, after more than 10 years of stop, and now getting older at 55... it's getting more and more difficult to handle my 350 grams old frames. I'm checking exactly the BOOM and SPEED both MP and PRO... let's see how it goes ;)
@@CzechTennisGuy just demoed the Boom Pro... well, it's a nice frame with a kind of soft feeling muting the stiffer response, and I think it perfectly suites the spin oriented players looking for some control. For me, I'm definetly in love with the Gravity TOUR, which was a big surprise!
Many thanks for the video!! I would be really interested in the comparison of the Speed MP 2022 and the Extreme Tour. I am currently playing the prestige mp 360+ it's a great racquet but I want more spin and speed in my shoots. I am playing a one handed backhand and I am not sure if the 100 Headsize is not really perfekt for the one handed backhand?
Thank you. Maybe you should try the Boom Pro, which feels great with one handed backhand. Enough room to hit the ball and at the same time great feel and really good precision. Also what is great about the Boom series is that it works great with full swings and not muscles, let's say raw power. And if you have great smooth technique and you can swing really fast, freely, it works great. And a proper one handed backhand is all about the swing. It's actually a forhand but from the other side. Also maybe the Clash 100 Pro v2 will work for your one handed backhand as well because the 16x20 pattern is something that can bring you really close to the flat shots and also has enough room for spin shots.
For me personally, yes. I feel like this Auxetic version has little bit more free power and energy. Also it feels little bit easier to swing with. In my next video, I will do the quality control test and measure the SW of Pro and MP versions myself. It feels like it has just a tiny bit lower SW around 320-325. The previous Graphene 360+ was around 330. So if you want a racket with faster and easier swingweight, this will be worth the upgrade.
Thank you. I can't compare it because I didn't try the Pure Aero VS. Maybe I will do some comparison in the future based on the details about the racket.
Actually yes. For the Speed Pro I recommend Head Lynx Tour or Lynx Touch. For the Head Boom Pro I used my favourite Tecnifibre Black Code 1.28mm and it worked great.
The biggest difference here is the feel. Speed Pro feels stiffer, more powerful. Blade feels softer, more control oriented, precise and feel oriented. If you are not a good advanced level player, you will struggle with both rackets to really generate the pace just because of the 18x20 string pattern. The Speed Pro is just a tiny bit easier to play with in my opinion because of the bigger head. So for my taste, the Speed Pro is a winner for a wider audience. For experienced tournament play the Blade 98 18x20 is a racket to try.
@@CzechTennisGuy : You’re the best.. thank you for guiding me… I am demoing the Head Extreme Auxetic MP right now; I will demo the Blade V8 16x19 in a few weeks. Then Iveill decide…. My preliminary research seems to indicate that the 16x19 Blade is better for the one -hander. We will see. Ciao, John

Great video as usual 😎🙋♂️but honestly...the maneuverability is the highlight 😁😁👍👍👍👍

What a racquets view! After this video, i will get the boom pro! Thanks for the wonderful racquets review!
Hey dude, I've just discovered your channel and I'm totally thrilled, as always, a great test video! I look forward to many more, all the best 😀
Thank you. Keep coming back for more.

@@CzechTennisGuy I'll do, and if weight+swingweight are too much, I'll move to the MPs to see how they are 🤗

Very helpful review! Thanks
Do you think this is worth the upgrade from speed pro 2020? The TW is saying the 2020 has heavier SW than 2022.

@@CzechTennisGuy ty. 335 on gravity felt too heavy for me and i am afraid 330 is too much for me to handle in a long game. 325 is my favorite SW.
Great video. How would u compare pure aero vs with this?
Thank you. I can't compare it because I didn't try the Pure Aero VS. Maybe I will do some comparison in the future based on the details about the racket.
Speed pro is so stable for volleys. Very good
Hellow, Blade v6.5 (16x19) vs Head Boom Pro ???
Do you have different suggestions for which strings you would use for each racket
Actually yes. For the Speed Pro I recommend Head Lynx Tour or Lynx Touch. For the Head Boom Pro I used my favourite Tecnifibre Black Code 1.28mm and it worked great.
@@CzechTennisGuy what tension do you recomend or use on Boom Pro with those strings? thanks in advance
They have the same weight but the balance is so different. You feel the weight very diferent
The balance is the same 310 mm for both rackets, but the head size is smaller for the Boom Pro so it swings faster and feels lighter overall.

Reproduce the video at 1.5 speed. You are welcome
You can do that by yourself. Just click on the settings wheel in the right bottom corner of the video and choose your own speed. You're welcome.
@@CzechTennisGuy Yes I know. It was tip for the viewers. Good video BTW
@@geramos109Ok. Thank you.
Need to watch it in 1.5x😑
It's nice you watched it at the speed that works best for you. Slow talker here.
