Hi Ashley, I am in the midst of trying to find a new racquet and wanted your thoughts. My coach was telling me I should try for a thinner beam racquet. I use a volkl vcell 2 at the moment. I am currently trying out a Wilson blade 98 v8, Yonex Ezone 100, and recently tried out a Head Boom MP. I am looking for arm and wrist friendly racquet. But I am getting into competitive tennis and looking to improve further. I lean more towards control than just raw power, I enjoy going to the net and trying variety of shots. Do you have any racquets to recommend or of the 3 I mentioned which would you say is the best?
Hi Ashley. I’m struggling with tennis elbow and shoulder issues. I use a Babolat aero pro 300 grams I think and I use RPM babolat string. Someone told me that is the worse combination. I’m happy to change racket, strings or do whatever but being able to keep playing tennis. Do you have any recommendations for us the club players? How to look after tennis elbow, shoulder. What racket do you recommend? I saw a review of the Tecnifibre TF-X1 300g and seems ok. Thanks in advance

Tennis Mentor: I have been playing with the Shift 300, strung with a hybrid VS gut mains 52, rpm blast crosses 49. Players have been reporting that the Shift is string sensitive, so I’m wondering what string and tension do you use for this frame??
How does the Wilson Shift stack up against the Head Extreme Tour? I love the Wilson Shift but I'm finding it too stiff. I know the Extreme is more flexible, how do you they compare? Thanks

Shift 309 is 16 x 20. I’m using it. Just used it once but I think I will like it. Can hit nice angles and topspin.
