2005 Honda Rincon 650.Abandoned because of carburetor issues.Will it run?

I have a rincon 650 that feels like it's lacking alotnof horsepower, it tops out at 40mph going downhill... and it's slow getting to that speed

i hVE one also and guy that helps me work on stuff said that these are nortorous for taking the lobes off the cam, so if its lacking power bad i bet it took the cam lobe off look it up on youtube youll see a few ppl talk about it
