Variation, adaptation, mutation Are useful categories Variation is the mixing of existing information, only half of our father’s DNA and half of mothers DNA. The variety of dogs is already present in original wolves/dingos. Adaption is the built in ability to change, our skin thickens when we walk barefoot, tan when we get lots of sun, build muscles when we exercise. Mutations is the copy errors in our DNA, evolution requires this process to create new, specific, precise, design information. Most mutations are either harmful or benign. To create a new effective protein needs thousands of coordinated DNA ‘letters’.
@@captaingaza2389 variation in finch beaks used to be a classic of evolution but is now known to not need any new information and that there is a certain amount of adaption and mostly population genetics on variation. @ConservativeMirror evolution has never been true. For evolution to be true it needs one thing, new novel information from nowhere. From simple to complex, it needs to start somewhere in the past with no "widget" and then develop the first bit of widgetry that contains that new novel information. Evolution is a lie, it borrows from well known processes like adaptation, natural selection, and reproduction as "proof" of itself while ignoring that problem that has never been observed.
5:01 OK.. I'm 5 minutes in. The title here promised that I could "watch evolution be destroyed in 5 minutes". But here at 5:01, evolution is still not "destroyed". 23 more minutes of video remain, and I'm confident that no "destruction of evolution" will happen there either.. I expect one of the two common MISREPRESENTATIONS of evolution theory - either the one where "a cow gives birth to a whale" or the one where "a cow decides to become a whale and transforms into a whale". But, I won't find out.. the title asked for 5 minutes, I gave it 5 minutes, the video failed in 5 minutes. So, is your title "lying for Jesus"?
There is about a 5 minute segment around the 10 minute mark that destroyed evolution. Not only is there not enough time for consecutive beneficial mutations to accumulate, there is also not enough time for them to get fixed in the population. Haldane simply pointed out the obvious. Modern explanations have not overcome the problem.
@@steve66oh Let me make it easy for you. Two men’s reputations as intelligent rational beings were destroyed, that is all. You’re welcome. Also, a few extra brain cells in the head of anyone already biased to suck this nonsense up.
False premise. The assumption all base pairs are singular is wrong. Those base pairs are interrelated. A beneficial mutation can span many base pairs. On average there are a trillion of mutations every day in the human body, cancer is one of the worst. There are beneficial mutations that do get passed along. Viruses also infect humans in both negative and positive ways in DNA. HPV is one. Those DNA mutations are, generally, not passed between generations. This video is a way oversimplified evolution.
Its more absurdly inadequate than that. Mutations do not typically gradually build on the original mutation down through generations such as a webbed piece of skin between 2 toes . An offspring will not automatically manifest a second piece of webbed skin between a second set of toes. Such a concept of mutations building and building generation, after gemeration increasing information and fitness by changing the entire base design is absolute quackery of the highest order.
First off, you are saying this because you want to thump your bible. Your alternative is sky daddy's magic spells which is absurd. Second, you clearly misunderstand the mechanism of evolution. The mutations spread in a population, not an individual. Individual mutations in complex organisms, take a long time to have an effect, if any. However, these are carried, actively or passively, in a population until a mutation will give a reproductive advantage to a population. This takes a long time, with estimates ranging from a couple of thousand to millions of years. There is a huge difference between our small lifetime of around 70 years to a million years.
Your false description of everything is absurd. Try not lying about what evolution is. Then make it clear where we have come and where we need more that 200 years of multidisciplinary discovery.
@mavrosyvannah all you said was you disagree?? That's just an opinion. I clearly didn't mince words so if you can offer a informed rebuttal to my facts go for it.
@@JimWilliams-s8z I only have a basic understanding of evolution, but what you related here has always struck me as extremely unlikely also. Despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of mutations are benign or negative, that mutations could build upon mutation in successive generations to start, continue, and ultimately finish the construction of, say, the longer tail that provides greater balance and agility, that gives the lizard a distinct advantage, that would now "survival of the fittest" his ancestors into obscurity. This, in my limited understanding at least, seems to demand assistance, or intelligence, or both to keep these mutations working in the same direction, expanding upon the initial change created by the first, and preventing negative ones from destroying the progress made. The odds just seem overwhelmingly unlikely. But your words are the first along the lines of that theory I've always held, glad I came upon it.
This video was lying to you even before you clicked on it. It claims to debunk the theory of evolution in 5 minutes yet the video with 28 minutes 5 seconds. After watching 13 minutes 19 seconds I still believe in evolution. Matthew 24:4-5 Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Messiah.' and shall deceive many Couldn't this be interpreted as, Watch out that no one deceives you. 'Many will claim in Jesus's name that Jesus was the Messiah' and shall deceive many?
The easist way to overthrow the theory of evolution is to bring your own theory that is better at explaining life on earth. Just running around saying evolution doesn't happen doesn't work because people can see that it does work. Think of Newtonian gravity. It held sway for two hundred years, even though people knew it had problems in extreme situations, but it wasn't until Einstein came along with relativity that Newtonian gravity was overturned. Well, it's still used in most circumstances because it works for most things. But the point is, if you want to overthrow an existing theory, bring a replacement theory that works. Trying to replace Darwinian evolution without proposing a better idea is a waste of time.

Your flawed math, even if it were somewhat valid, doesn't help support bible mythology in any way Thank you for demonstrating that theism requires ignoring fact and reasoning to remain acceptable.
8. finally, multiply the result thus obtained by the number of living beings that have lived since the common homo/chimpanzee ancestor up to the present (100 billion individuals just for Homo Sapiens and leaving aside the other human species and the chimpanzes). Result = 1,667 x 100 billion = *166,700 BILLION at least possible mutations!* And I underline "at least", because in reality they are enormously more.

And our spiritual condition as humans goes even deeper than just simply committing sins. We aren’t sinners because we sin, we sin because WE ARE sinners. We are born that way. And we are born sinners because we are also conceived that way. We are dead spiritually. Our souls are either 100% saved or 100% lost. “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.” Psalms 51:5 “The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.” Psalms 58:3 “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-” Romans 5:12 “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,” Colossians 2:13 “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,” Ephesians 2:1 “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),” Ephesians 2:4-5 “But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.” Romans 5:15-16 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 Realizing we are all born this way, none seek God on their own (Romans 3), and that we are literally dead (spiritual corpses), gives God the glory due his name when we understand that HE MADE US ALIVE. Variation, adaptation, mutation
Are useful categories
Variation is the mixing of existing information, only half of our father’s DNA and half of mothers DNA.

I only have a basic understanding of evolution, but what you related here has always struck me as extremely unlikely also.

“Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me.”
Psalms 51:5
“The wicked are estranged from the womb; They go astray as soon as they are born, speaking lies.”
Psalms 58:3
“Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned-”
Romans 5:12
“And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,”
Colossians 2:13
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,”
Ephesians 2:1
“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),”
Ephesians 2:4-5
“But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.”
Romans 5:15-16
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
Realizing we are all born this way, none seek God on their own (Romans 3), and that we are literally dead (spiritual corpses), gives God the glory due his name when we understand that HE MADE US ALIVE. Then we can better understand how much of a gift (meaning grace) that faith really is when we are able to believe on Christ in repentance.
