Have any of y'all watched the Martin Bryant stuff? The Tasmania mass murderer. Not sure if there is enough publicly accessible footage of the interview, or if the quality is good enough, to make a video on it. But what I saw was interesting. Also, Nashville's Perry March. Lots of material there.
You guys should look at that cop impersonator Jeremy Dewitte (a career criminal with a history of violence, fraud and violation of court orders). He’s also an attention seeker and always playing the victim card every time he’s confronted with the truth.
I find it interesting watching True Crime, so your YT channel happened to pop up whilst looking for other creators. Oh wow, I have been drawn in hook, line and sinker! Seeing each one of you bringing your own experience & expertise to the table, and explaining in 'layman's terms' is wonderful. Its also fab having a UK representative on here too. As Mark often explains American 'phrases' + terminology in a 'British' way, which is great! I am now several days in, 'binge' watching your videos, each one making me more and more intrigued about the body. As an ex employee of our NHS within a Physiotherapy team, it has opened up a whole new world of body language for me. Unfortunately I had to retire from my job due to bad eyesight, so being visually disabled, I normally end up watching your videos over and over and over again, to catch all the moments that you all identify, as they are so So the crux of my message is just to say, your channel content is informative, educational, illuminating and so useful, even in everyday life! Also, you couldn't have chosen more charismatic, amiable, awe inspiring, remarkable fellows to host together! As Americans say 'YOU ALL ROCK!" 🤘🏼 As us Brits say "You are all really quite splendid indeed!' 🇬🇧
As a survivor of rape and someone breaking into my apt...I was not giggling or even smiling for a long time.I was still in fear for over a month.i didn't want to remember the assault.i couldn't remember details for a long time.i was in shock for awhile. She creating this hoax is so disrespectful for us who went thru these crimes. The rapist was never found.I got therapy and help and have healed from this violence and have forgiven that man.I value my peace.
Lynn Gold. Thank you for sharing your experience, I’m so sorry it happened to you and I totally agree with you, what this woman did was so disrespectful to genuine woman who endured such an horrific crime. I hope you’re doing well, and I wish you the best going forward. Sending peace, love & empathy.
Yeah, talking about recent trauma while relaxed and giggling - just no. Not even. True survivors deserve better than narcissistic pond scum belittling what we’ve gone through and devaluing our strength. To say nothing of what she put her family through. She’s a sorry excuse for a human being. Thanks for calling her out, guys. ❤
Sorry that happened to you babylove. And I know you didn't draw a pretty little stick figure hee hee of him. Hit me up if you ever need anything, I'm a healer, caregiver, musician etc.
Watching the BP has been such a revelation to me. It has made me a better nurse, not looking for lies so much as reading people when they are insecure/frightened. Gives me clues to pause when i see those self soothing gestures to see what i can do to help them. ❤
@Kalyn 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Totally agree. Nurses can see temperatures, blood pressures, and each beat of the heart, yet still much is hidden from them. Patients often frame their communications around perceived societal norms. If asked if they have pain, many struggle to put a number on the undefined scale, and believe they must appear "good" by not reporting their pain. The examples are endless, yet most boil down to communications. Healthcare professionals *need* to read body language every bit as much as law enforcement does, yet it is seldom taught to them. I find TBP educational offerings very helpful in evaluating patients. Our profession wants to ensure top quality care in Healthcare. Yet we work, in effect, partially blind, when we can't read body language. Materials like these help us do that. We don't want to be hit, or hurt, but it is not uncommon. These materials can help us stay safe. Highly recommend 👍
@srauen online 100% of everything you said! I am lucky enough to care for Veterans, they tend to be very stoic about pain and anxiety. Learning to read the subtle behaviors that can't be hidden with a gruff exterior or more often with joking around with staff has given me a "new set of eyes". I find myself watching eye movement constantly which had made me a more intent listener at work and at home. Even an old dog like me can learn new tricks!
@@kalyn7220 Amen 🔥 Our class started our training working with Veterans. They set such a high bar. I wish I could go back and give them the level of care I learned to give, years down the line. I especially wish I could have done what you did, and see through the stoicism and jokes to the pain and anxiety that covered up. There is every reason to teach student nurses how to read and see at the beginning of their training - the rest of the process would be so much more efficient. And yes, better living in the rest of life as well. COVID's weight has stripped care to bare essentials. If we are going to work to the quality we expect of ourselves, we have to find new ways to become more productive. Every quality nurse I've ever known gave their patients everything they had, heart and soul, gladly. We need and our patients deserve for us to have the tools of better efficiency, better tools to learn faster, and do more. We can't tie up a hospital bed for days trying to discern a diagnosis when with the blinders off, its right there in front of us. I'm grateful for the sight and insight BP gives me. I'd sure like it if we could see as clearly as possible from week one, better at week two and so on.
I grew up with Sherri and Keith (who is the nicest guy by the way). I was friends with Sherri for most of grade school. And she would often come to school crying and and telling stories about her abusive parents. When we had the DARE program and an officer came to our class she pulled him aside and I don’t remember exactly but the outcome was police ended up intervening. She was never taken away from her parents or anything so I just assumed she was being dramatic… as it always seemed that way to me with these occurrences. To be fair, other than those dramas she was quite normal. We sang ‘I saw the sign’ in 6th grade at the talent show. I went to her bday parties, she had boyfriends in what seemed to be the normal way. She was always nice to me and I experienced no drama with her. Baffling. The thing that I was kind of struck by was when she was describing the two ladies who took her.. notice how it’s all opposite? One taller one shorter. One had curly hair, one had straight hair. It’s was always opposite between the two. When she first went missing I thought it was real. I was petitioning news agencies, sharing on social media, I wasted nothing more than for her to be found safe. When she was found and the stories started coming out about it… this is the first thing I noticed that made me crinkle my brow. One was mean, one was nice, thin brows, thick brows.. all exact opposite descriptions. It gave me pause.
There's a lot of stories like this where a White person commits a crime and "invents" a perpetrator(s) that is non-White, as if it will seem more frightening if a person of color did it. I think it would be more convincing if they said the perp was White. I remember the Susan Smith story, where she claimed a random Black Man took her kids. That would actually make more sense if a White Woman stole the kids, to keep them. This story also sounded weird with the female Latina characters. Male(s) would make more sense. If this is all a Narcissist going for an attention grab, it's horrible. I wonder if there is any truth to the abuse stories, but it wouldn't make THIS ok to do.
Did you notice her parents being abusive? Sometimes is narcissist do come from abusive homes. Possibly even a narcissistic home that you wouldn't notice from the outside
I had such a visceral response to this one. Bone-deep, gut-twisting disgust. Knowing that children are being kidnapped and trafficked every day and watching how she trivialized that horror with giggles and light-hearted testimony made me want to vomit.
I was just thinking the same thing. I grew up abused and I know the horror of the situation when your life and your health is at mercy of some psychopath. And this woman just made fun of the trauma that keeps me up at night. She’s inhumane.
How dare she….from her spoilt life waste law enforcements time and resources when people truly NEED to be found and rescued. Pathetic selfish Small minded human. Makes me so mad.
Ha, I remember how Scott used to worry they were getting too geeky after an hour of video in the old days. Now they know we're still glued to the screen after three hours! This was a good one fellas 😜
I was 10 when a guy tried to get me into his car. I’m in my late 50s now. It affected me for years. And years. I still remember snapshots and it was scary as frick. Along with several other youngsters he’d tried to get, we had to testify against him in a felony trial. The officers who helped us were the kindest. And this kind of lie takes *resources* from where they’re needed. That’s what makes me the most upset.
@@lucky7mojo thanks. The fact that we were almost kidnapped (and how I can speak to being so affected) goes to the reality of the horror of actually *being* kidnapped - - - and the disconnect this woman shows for lying about something like this is mind boggling. To put a point on it, for 6 or 7 years after the incident, any time a car slow down anywhere near me I would bolt, sometimes losing my footing (once, my shoe) in the process. It was terrifying.
I'm so sorry you had to go through that & you are absolutely right about her taking resources away from people who have really been through this. It's downright disgusting & I'm so glad she's in jail and was fined for it!
What I found strange was her confidence about how she felt she should have been treated by the people who found her. Trauma is demoralizing. She had a sense of entitlement that really came off weird to me, as a trauma survivor. She wasn't grateful to be out of her situation, she was annoyed they didn't treat her the way she expected she should be.
And can I just join Chase in saying huge credit and thanks to Greg for cutting all the videos for each and every one of these recordings! Thanks Greg, I'm not just saying this because you scare me a little, I'm also genuinely grateful! :)
@@aviationfanatic5059 But that's the whole fun of Greg!! Makes him more lovable. 🙃💓 Have you seen him in his two "movies" titled "We Can Make You Talk" and "The Guantanamo Diaries"? If you're scared now ... get a loss of these! They are actually really good documentaries where volunteers agree to be interrogated, and be treated like POWs. Sort of like "Torture Lite". They're actually excellent.
Yes, thank you Greg for all the work! I've seen you in a suit. You deffo look trés chic in one. But you, comfy clothes at home and these great videos are more than plenty! 💓💓
What if she took a big breath and yawned loudly while tapping her mouth with her flattened fingers? “Ahh ahh ahh ahh ahh ahh ahh ahh” whilst rolling her eyes.
I don’t understand how she was allowed to shower, wash her underwear, they changed her bedding, BUT she had to use a bucket in a closet for relieving herself.
And you know whats absolutely crazy as well? The fact that she starved herself, deprived herself of food, surpressed the feeling of hunger by being absolutely determined to fool em all, to come back as a hero. Yeah, the heroine of fools.
She's super-annoying. I've worked with women like her before in a male-dominated environment. They use tears and the little girl act to get away with their bs. Men want to hug them, women in the know just want to slap them.
Yes, I know the type you mean. It’s mind blowing to watch men and even women being manipulated by people like her - it’s like watching 2 crazy people talking, they’re so fake that it seems unbelievable that people can stand to be so shallow like that.
You guys have to do Tom Cruise. He is who Christian Bale based his rendition of Patrick Bateman from American Psycho. That would be super interesting. And again, just in case you didn’t see my previous request of the lady that founded LulaRoe or really any MLM pyramid scheme
I had PTSD from a violent traumatic experience. The way she's talking about her 'traumatic' experience bears NO RESEMBLANCE to my experience with PTSD.
@@wendya.presley7316 There are certainly ranges of response to trauma. But she's showing no signs of any of the symptoms of PTSD (intrusive memories, avoidance, negative thinking/mood, physical reactions such as easily startled). She's putting on a show of being guarded, but she's much too relaxed to pull it off. As you say, 'full of it'!
Childhood sexual abuse, specifically incest, can lead to a lot of the behaviors that this women is displaying, and has displayed. Dissociation, pathological lying; it can be a mess. Not to imply anything about her family, or her own childhood, of course, because I don’t want to get sued, and genuinely have no clue about the context of her own childhood. I felt so soothed when Scott mentioned how hard this must be on her husband. My heart aches for innocent believing supportive spouses & children...i love the gentlemanly compassion & kindness in this band of brothers . Such a needed example for these days. Thank you!
This is solid gold. I absolutely love these guys! I’m a mental health therapist and this stuff is so fascinating to me. Not to mention, they are a laugh riot. The reactions in this one! 😂

Drip Drop is the bomb diggity!!! Crime Circus has the ultimate audio on interrogations, etc... So nice of him to share, he does care! Seriously he treats his subscribers like gold.
So I went to watch the whole interrogation, and man I feel for her husband. He was clueless. When the agents tell them they found the house she was at, he's so excited. Sits forward, claps his hands together once and stomps his feet a few times quickly in excitement. And my heart dropped because I knew he was about to get slammed with the truth. Then later he's alone with the agents and asks if they'll give her a ride home because he doesn't want to be near her. Or have her near their kids. Can't blame him. And I'm not surprised they got divorced. I don't know how he could ever trust her again.

Here's the shortened version of the story for folks who are interested, spoilers ahead I am sure for the video: SPOILERS!!!!! this woman Sherri Papini, looks to be 'Supermom' by all accounts for many years, seemingly gets abducted one day out of nowhere, just disappears down the road from her home with nothing more than her iPod left and some of her hair near their mailbox. She's missing for a little under/over a month until she 'miraculously' is found on the side of the highway near Sacramento, CA where she lived, but she is chained, hair cut, branded, and has some weight loss. She tells police 2 mexican woman (very stereotype driven) kidnapped and drugged her, forced her to do work around their house and stay in a confined space and even brand her with an unknown object. Police start an investigation and this takes years but the following comes out- She wasn't abducted, she lied to an ex-boyfriend down in Orange County, CA that her current husband was beating her and being mean to her and her kids (which wasn't true) and the ex-boyfriend comes to pick her up and live with her while things 'cool down'. She orchestrated all of it including the abduction, branding, and the new look which she has upon 'reappearing' into society. She sort of 'munchausen by proxy's the whole story, including the location of her 'kidnapping' which she describes in near perfect detail as the boyfriend's apartment and a room in it to the cops and many other details thinking she'll never be caught. The ex-boyfriend does spill when he gets asked due to records turning up. She then gets charged, arrested, goes to jail and has to pay a big fine. All the while her husband divorces her, takes full custody of the kids and hopefully doesn't feel like an utter dummy for standing by her for a number of years until the police start to tell the husband 'your wife's kinda nuts'. Yeah, gonna be a wild video!
And if I remember correctly there was another woman who went missing at that same time who didn’t have the privilege of being a “pretty’ white lady. All the resources went to looking for Sharri when the local police, who are severely understaffed, could have been looking for the woman who actually went missing and has never been found. This woman is garbage.
@@majorzipf8947 this is a sick woman. Because of her attitude and general personality that I’ve seen (watched every interrogation), I just can’t like or feel for her.
I live about 35 miles away from her home. A lot of us were suspect of her from the start. I felt bad for the Hispanic community in our area when she told her lies about the kidnapping. I'm glad she is being punished.
When he mentions asking dumb questions, as soon as he mentions "court processes", her face drops with the realization that there is more for her to do than just fill out some forms.
She was missing for 3 weeks and her kidnappers apparently changed her sheets for her??? If I didn't change our sheets regularly, I'm not even confident I could get my boyfriend to do it that often-and he sleeps on them!!
You know…it’s bad enough to deliberately put your husband and close family through hell, but to put your own innocent children through this horrible charade is absolutely deplorable! The depth of the emotional abuse she perpetrated is shocking and most likely irreparable!
this girl ran from home and was living on the streets of LA at age 16. what do you think she did in order to live on the streets? that is where she met "James." is it any surprise she lives a life of nothing but lies? is it any surprise that she saw her husband Keith as nothing more than a "mark?" (making edit to make sure this doesn't delete)
So, as I'm watching the clip where she stands up to demonstrate her story to them, I remember that she initially said she took out her LEFT ear bud when the vehicle pulled up, but during her demonstration, I immediately notice she pretends to pull the ear bud from her RIGHT ear. I'm legit cooking dinner in my kitchen, and at that point I said out loud, "Uhhhh, NO. You JUST said before that you took out your LEFT earbud. That's your right ear!" Then, I may have (definitely) freaked out my entire family because right at the start of Chase's analysis of that clip, he says, "Did anyone notice she said left earbud but pulled her right ear when demonstrating?", and I literally clapped and yelled, "YES! CHASE! I DID!" I got suuuuper pumped about it😅 It's rewarding when I can tell that I've learned from you guys. It's moments like this that make me super happy to be a part of the Panel.😊❤
My son has a girlfriend that has a weakness for lies as a protective measure (hasn’t had a great upbringing), and this channel has helped me deal with her SO MUCH, because I’m the only one that probably three times out of five is like “Cool, tell me the real story now…” I thank the behavior panel.
Before Sherri resurfaced, I watched an interview with a former boyfriend. He said that she was a pathological liar and that he knew from day one that the abduction story was bogus.
As a DV survivor that had PTSD for years, I still am emotionally affected when recalling traumatic events. Though nowadays I can talk about it without breaking down (this took a lot of therapy to achieve), I still can't be as calm as she is.
I’m going through therapy right now and totally get you. You cannot make it up. The end. The feelings, the way your body and brain respond that is out of your control ( although I’m getting there) Why would anyone want to pretend to be going through that when they could be doing literally anything else? Have a beautiful happy life and always remember, you deserve it ❤
Where is her shaky voice her anxiety her fear? Why doesn’t she want to hide why isn’t she checking behind her? I check under my chair in the therapy room and it’s about an inch space.. that always makes me cry and shake because it makes no sense. Describing chewing the ties off like she’s cracking open chips for the kids. I hate her. While they are wasting time with her women are being beaten to death. I know she has a sickness but it feels like a very bad one
I loved when she said that she and Keith had tried to get out of zip ties, before. And then she proceeds to say exactly how she tried to get out of the zipties that the imaginary kidnappers used on her! That was a big red flag to me, and somewhat commical. I also thought her use of the word, revolver, was odd, because most of us would probably just call it a gun. She kept puffing out air, like she needed to let out tension when they kept questioning her and picking apart her story. When she was drawing the room, and she starting giggling about drawing stick figures?! Weird. That was way out of context for the situation she was supposedly in. I mean, if a person gets tied up with a chain and cable by kidnappers, that's traumatic, not funny. Another great show, guys. I learn new things every time from each of you. I think of Chase like a walking encyclopedia, the way he imparts information from behavior studies and psychology books.

In the Hulu doc it’s revealed that she described her “Mexican captors” as having big hoop earrings, serving her only black beams, and listening to mariachi music. It’s the most laughable dated stereotypes.
2:01:39 Wait a minute here. She said she was trying to MAKE THE BED? You’ve been kidnapped, you’re chained to a metal bar along the wall, and you say to yourself, “I think I’ll make the bed this morning.” 🤨 Oh my word, this whole thing is so freaking WEIRD!
This is the most amazing breakdown of Sherri Papini’s interview I’ve seen. What she did was absolutely insane. The way she just sat with detectives and was was able to make up this whole story of abduction, but with truths intertwined.. A body language and behavioural analysis of her during was absolutely critical!! Thank you all so much for this!! 🫶🏼😁

I never believed she was kidnapped. A gut feeling that I tried to talk myself out of when she was found. So glad the husband is free of her and has sole custody of the kids.
I remember once I was nearly kidnapped in Las Vegas but karate lessons saved me. Police thought it might be a trafficking thing. But the first thing I talked about when I told the police was “two guys tried to grab me” it wasn’t until they asked that I told them the whole story. There is no starting at the beginning when you’re the victim… you start with the most traumatic part.

I think it would be super interesting to see what the men of The Behavior Panel would have to say about what they see during false confession. There was a series made using strictly false confessions, The Confession Tapes. It was from 2017, and has two seasons. All of the individuals gave, or were coerced into giving, a false confession.
I remember this; this girl was from my hometown. I remember everyone was looking for her and contributing to a GoFund for her. Her husband was frantic over her being missing and the Hispanic community was on edge. All of these good, honest people looking for her and she was with her ex boyfriend the whole time. Left two young children too. When she came back with this story about what happened and her hair all cut off; people were horrified at what happened but so relieved she was back and with her family. Then investigators started not believing some of it and investigated until they spoke to the ex boyfriend and he told them the truth. Last I heard; her husband divorced her and took the kids. I don't know what in the world made her do this; she had everything. This shows us that having it all doesn't make someone happy.
This one was so good I had to watch again. You all were talking about the husband. I think he was texting one of his close friends our family saying she is lying and I can’t believe the show she is giving to police lol. He is very suspicious I think and knows when she makes things up. Great one fellows. Thanks again. 😊💕
He’s probably on a “group text”. He looks so embarrassed and like what a freaking waste of time “why am I here?” “I need to be at Best Buy around normal people who work!”
@Greg, thank you for describing actual PTSD. When you explained what someone with PTSD would actually do or say I started crying. Thank you. PS: This was a good thing.
A strong case can be made for a DSM-5 diagnosis of factitious disorder. "Factitious disorder requires the determination that the individual is taking surreptitious actions to deliberately misrepresent, simulate, or cause signs or symptoms of illness or injury in the absence of obvious external rewards". Between donations and payouts from victim services Sherri would ultimately receive almost a quarter million dollars, but she didn't know that would happen. As the BP guys mention, she had no clear motive, at least not one that is understandable to the majority of the population.
I’m an hour and 40 minutes into this and the bucket keeps coming up and it’s driving me crazy that no one is pointing out how she described if she were only taller she could have busted the shelf to get free. I keep thinking why wouldn’t you turn the bucket over to gain some height. The minute she mentioned the bucket in the closet that was my first thought. Anyone would stand on the bucket even if you had to spill its contents.
If Sheri Papini gave me a cookie and identified it as chocolate chip, I'd immediately assume, somehow, the cookie has, instead, Sriracha pork with sesame seeds. That's how untrustworthy she is.

She may think she understands how she should react to trauma, and obviously, I can't know definitively how she would react to trauma either, but I can say that whatever that is ain't it.
Having some experience within this realm, it might be useful for people to know this, if they don’t already. Some of the behaviors, are truly inexplicable, and very duplicitous, but within the context of a childhood of incest, can make perfect sense. The person can very much lead a double life, as it aligns so obviously, with the duplicitous nature of a childhood survived, within an incestuous family. Also, any spouse of a person, who displays these behaviors, is not stupid, for not recognizing this possibility, as most people are completely unaware of the behaviors and symptoms of some adults who survive incest. Society refuses to acknowledge it.
@Fowchiii LIED, PUPPIES DIED Yeah, correct, you don't don't know anything about her family or childhood, nor do you have a single clue as to what my own traumatic experience entailed. I have noticed, though, that for whatever reason, you seem to think your reply is relevant or even interesting enough to copy and paste it to multiple comments here by others. Rest assured, I do not find relevance, nor am I interested in your "explanation" of ... whatever it is you've decided is the source of trauma for a pathological liar.
Marks hilarious. He's got a different perspective than the other panelists. When he talks about household protocol for the British royal family. Or the derivative of a word from ancient Greek or Latin word lol
If I had to guess, I'd say this woman tried to leave her husband to start a new life or relationship and it didn't work out so she crawled back and went into damage control.
@@joduffy6851 No evidence and no clue. This one's got more holes than a swiss cheese. The best bit is the kidnappers changing the bedding. I'm still laughing. I don't how the policeman can keep a straight face. I couldn't.
In the first video there are a few loud noises in the background to which she doesn't have any reaction. I would expect someone with ptsd to be affected by every noise around her
I know right ? It may be a misconception but I also thought that unexpected noises should kinda trigger her. Sure you're safe now but I can't buy the underlying fear went away so easily. She should have been way less relaxed to be believable I think.
They changed the bedding like it was a hotel?!! And she giggjes when she says she couldn't break the zip ties. Yeah... most traumatic experience of my life... kidnapped, blindfolded, ziptied...waiting to be tortured and killed... but I'm going to just giggle about it. This woman is a bad liar.
Im still trying to find the motive for her to do something stupid like that and the emotional damage she caused her family and her own children.. nothing she says make sense

Unfortunately I had to retire from my job due to bad eyesight, so being visually disabled, I normally end up watching your videos over and over and over again, to catch all the moments that you all identify, as they are so
So the crux of my message is just to say, your channel content is informative, educational, illuminating and so useful, even in everyday life!

You are so right that this is insulting to those who have truly experienced trauma due to abuse. I am very sorry you experienced that.

Not even. Watching the BP has been such a revelation to me. It has made me a better nurse, not looking for lies so much as reading people when they are insecure/frightened. Gives me clues to pause when i see those self soothing gestures to see what i can do to help them. ❤
Oh yes!!
Yes!These guys have helped me immensely!
@Kalyn 👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Totally agree.
@@kalyn7220 Amen 🔥
Our class started our training working with Veterans.

When someone is innocent, they have nothing but questions.
When someone is guilty, they have nothing but answers.
Good call on the opposite thing!
Sounds almost munchausen-y, making up abuse to get attention
You "wasted" nothing more than for her....freudian slip - maybe??

I had such a visceral response to this one. Bone-deep, gut-twisting disgust. Knowing that children are being kidnapped and trafficked every day and watching how she trivialized that horror with giggles and light-hearted testimony made me want to vomit.

She's something ain't she!? To selfishness to see how her words effect people.

Glad that perp didn't get you me son.

I’m not an expert but my visceral response watching her is that she seems unusually chatty and upbeat for someone who just escaped a kidnapping.
Exactly! Especially with the stick figure
What took me aback was her demanding rash cream from her abductors. That's what made the story sound like total bull to me

Then later he's alone with the agents and asks if they'll give her a ride home because he doesn't want to be near her. Or have her near their kids. Can't blame him. And I'm not surprised they got divorced. I don't know how he could ever trust her again.
He really was. It was heartbreaking to watch!

Here's the shortened version of the story for folks who are interested, spoilers ahead I am sure for the video:
SPOILERS!!!!!
this woman Sherri Papini, looks to be 'Supermom' by all accounts for many years, seemingly gets abducted one day out of nowhere, just disappears down the road from her home with nothing more than her iPod left and some of her hair near their mailbox.
Thanks. Doesn't spoil the body language analysis
And if I remember correctly there was another woman who went missing at that same time who didn’t have the privilege of being a “pretty’ white lady. All the resources went to looking for Sharri when the local police, who are severely understaffed, could have been looking for the woman who actually went missing and has never been found. This woman is garbage.

this girl ran from home and was living on the streets of LA at age 16. what do you think she did in order to live on the streets? that is where she met "James." is it any surprise she lives a life of nothing but lies? is it any surprise that she saw her husband Keith as nothing more than a "mark?" She's the worst! Smh
That's your right ear!"
Then, I may have (definitely) freaked out my entire family because right at the start of Chase's analysis of that clip, he says, "Did anyone notice she said left earbud but pulled her right ear when demonstrating?", and I literally clapped and yelled, "YES! CHASE! I DID!" I got suuuuper pumped about it😅

As a DV survivor that had PTSD for years, I still am emotionally affected when recalling traumatic events. Though nowadays I can talk about it without breaking down (this took a lot of therapy to achieve), I still can't be as calm as she is.
Yes, who is this bubbly, chatty and almost excited person talking to the police about something traumatic?
I’m going through therapy right now and totally get you. You cannot make it up. The end.
The feelings, the way your body and brain respond that is out of your control ( although I’m getting there)
Why would anyone want to pretend to be going through that when they could be doing literally anything else?
Have a beautiful happy life and always remember, you deserve it ❤
Where is her shaky voice her anxiety her fear? Why doesn’t she want to hide why isn’t she checking behind her? I check under my chair in the therapy room and it’s about an inch space.. that always makes me cry and shake because it makes no sense.
Describing chewing the ties off like she’s cracking open chips for the kids. I hate her. While they are wasting time with her women are being beaten to death.
I know she has a sickness but it feels like a very bad one
I salute the survivors here
♥️
? She did? I must have missed that part. Weird TMI .....
All I can think of is her poor children and poor husband. Narcissists Abuse.
When a narcissist is in the family: everybody loses - except the narcissist, of course, who gets everything s/he wants (for the moment anyway).
@@tamararutland-mills9530 and it’s a lifetime loss and becomes generational insofar that if they themselves done become a narcissist then they are usually attracted to them. It’s all kinds of destructive.
I saw Columbo at 2:06, Scott. Very cool! Also, what’s up with the Pampini house? I see it’s a log cabin … is that a real tree in the background? Love your work guys … I have Asperger’s and your guidance has helped me develop confidence in reading people.
They live in the country (for California anyway)
The fact she let her kids and spouse think she was dead during holidays (Thanksgiving I believe), makes her a horribly sick monster. She should have been given much longer sentence!🤬
Im totally enchanted by four intelligent gentlemen, experts in their field, putting together incredible & fascinating videos.
ive seen many of your programmes & never tire of youre insight & analysis 👍 👏
In the Hulu doc it’s revealed that she described her “Mexican captors” as having big hoop earrings, serving her only black beams, and listening to mariachi music. It’s the most laughable dated stereotypes.
Ajajajajajaja

Wait a minute here. She said she was trying to MAKE THE BED? You’ve been kidnapped, you’re chained to a metal bar along the wall, and you say to yourself, “I think I’ll make the bed this morning.” 🤨
Oh my word, this whole thing is so freaking WEIRD!
Leticia Stauch will blow your minds!
P.S. Thank you Scott, for sticking up for those of us who love true crime. ❤
This is great, guys. As a psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of trauma, substance abuse and severe mood- & anxiety disorder, I provide collaborative, integrative therapy using primarily somatic experiencing, MCBT, EMDR, psychodynamic practices. Tracking the autonomic nervous system informs timing and choice of approaches appropriate to supporting client goals. Over the past few years watching you, I’ve learned a ton. Just bought a couple of your books and look forward to the journey ahead.
Thank you, deep bows for generously sharing your expertise.

The decor in that room is unbelievably hideous. I’d be highly suspicious of anybody with such poor taste.
😂😂😂😂
I understand we were watching Sherri's body language and she was the focus, but man I would have loved to see her husbands body language throughout. When did it truely click with him that her story was bs🤔
If you watch the interrogation vid, he scoots further from her and out the door. He comes back after her interview to talk with the detectives.
When she’s explaining the room, he had to see she was making this up!!
Not soon enough... He helped her spend the victim funds.
@@tishwitchThat’s just an outright and bizarre lie.
@@texasvet2729 no it's not. They both used that money to pay their bills. The only difference is that he was unaware that she'd committed a crime (ish... He knew on some level she was lying as soon as she came back).
Hello from Glasgow, Scotland!! These guys are so amazing!!
Hello from California! I traveled through Scotland in the 90s and found the wonderful town of Strathpeffer and the Richmond B&B. Fell in love with the Highlands!
@2:25 the husband is SO BORED of her story. He's crossed his arms and sighs as if he is waiting for her to get real 😂 . He's more interested in his phone, than the ''torment" his wife is describing .
I never believed she was kidnapped. A gut feeling that I tried to talk myself out of when she was found. So glad the husband is free of her and has sole custody of the kids.
I agree with Mark... I think the husband is booking a single ticket for a one-way trip 😂
She talks and sounds like Lori Vallow.
Omg! I'm glad you got away
Her husband didn't really believe all she said, but he stayed with her for six years. The FBI has to tell him the whole truth before he gets it.
I am so glad you guys analyzed this case!
This woman is a piece of work! I feel bad for her family. Especially her husband and kids. Those 3 weeks she was missing must've been rough.
Love this show ❤
You guys have really help me in life, I really do appreciate what your doing. I'm autistic and I have bad adhd and your helping me understand people and how to get the best out of situations. I manage really well now with close people like neighbors and shop keepers, I used to be scared to let people in now i have confidence and I'm more aware of my actions and behaviors, thank you so much you 4! Where can I buy some of the t shirts you've been talking about?
Good for you! Glad your doing well. I enjoy these very much too.
This is so cool. What a great comment - I bet it will mean the world to these guys.
@@fowchiiiliedpuppiesdied Yea they have help me, iv struggled with situations and family members etc and now iv diagnosed my brother as a narcissist / pycopath and my dad too 😂 it made me realise how the family get what they want and why it doesn't seem to bother them when you trample over people 😏
Wow. No words. This kind of people walk amongst us.
She strikes me as very arrogant and narcissistic. This is the woman the police and the rest of us are suppose to believe was kidnapped and held against her will??! She got less than what she deserved from the courts. She should have been sentenced to nothing under 5 years in prison. She disgusts me.
Binged the whole Hulu series last night and I'm really enjoying watching this vid from last year! This is fun!
Holy crackers!!! There is a Hulu series? I am going to see if there is a free trial..I would rather get my money here content creators rather than Hulu
@@EliseRoss-di1eeIt is from the prospective of her husband, Keith.
@@mattiejefferies6328 ya I watched it
I think it would be super interesting to see what the men of The Behavior Panel would have to say about what they see during false confession. There was a series made using strictly false confessions, The Confession Tapes. It was from 2017, and has two seasons. All of the individuals gave, or were coerced into giving, a false confession.
My husband would have gently told me I need counseling and medication. Then he would go to Key West while I was in the institution.
OMG! You are right! 🎯 🎯
If Sheri Papini gave me a cookie and identified it as chocolate chip, I'd immediately assume, somehow, the cookie has, instead, Sriracha pork with sesame seeds. That's how untrustworthy she is.
Mark, YOU ARE HYSTERICAL 🤣 I love the way you describe the hair...... Chase is classic & on point 😊 GREG loves his provocative statements & his redirect is always great & SCOTT with his " WHO TALKS LIKE THAT " RHETORIC 😅 LOVE YOU GUYS
There are some flashes of anger that seem quite intense. That sugary demeanor is hiding a hostile and easily frustrated person.
I have PTSD.
I was in a situation today that meant I had to re-tell the story of what happened to me.
My "event" occurred 13 years ago, the re-telling was 8 hours ago now, and I'm ruined.
She may think she understands how she should react to trauma, and obviously, I can't know definitively how she would react to trauma either, but I can say that whatever that is ain't it.

If she's claiming PTSD she's really really bad at it. Her family and husband has come out claims she's pathological
What got me was her faking trying to remember what happened almost like she had amnesia.
I like that Mark doesn't always know some of the US crazy stories. It makes for a refreshing viewpoint.
That was my guess too. She didn't intend to come back, then something happened and she had to make up a story with no evidence whatsoever.
Thank you for your service Mark, Greg, Scott and Chase
I loved this! Please do more lengthy ones like this
They changed the bedding like it was a hotel?!!
So cringy. I'm just dying for the panel to mention how much she is LOVING being center of attention too? So gross. She can't even hold the giddiness back. She's dang near slap-happy.
And, when the cop says, do wanna get back up to the table now? Like, is your performance done now? 💀😂💀😂💀😂
