But in reality they have rejected Tejas (as it is not War tested + doesn't have FOC clearance+ Not used by IAF itself as Mk1 is under upgrade right now) - Nigeria, Egypt went for Rafale while Cameroon, & Others went for Gripen.

Proud to be an Indian. We can imagine how much of resources for procurement of these defence equipments were being squandered away in the past. Thanks to the changes in the government thinking & the “Atmanirbhar Bharath” programme, a lot of jobs are being created within the country & valuable foreign exchange is saved. It only requires a change in mindset, which has happened, though belated. Thanks L&T, thanks Nitin for showcasing this to common people.
Very happy to hear that L&T had 50 percent of the components of K9 thunder being made. Their Light tank design and production is very critical as it will pave the way for and ingenious MBT and cover all the mistakes of Arjun tank. Hopefully their tanks will take over the retirement of T72 tanks from the army.
L&T's contributions in variety of fields like defense, natural calamities, construction, and many more is really commendable. The people like Ramchandani are real assets for the company as well as for the nation.

I want to suggest the govt of India to make subject matter in IIT INSTITUTEs defence related, medical related, Research and Development, so that specialist Engineers will be available for industries like this.

Instead of pampering the interviewee the interviewer should allow the interviewee to tell as much as possible so that our youngsters can be influenced by it and thus progress their careers on defense so that Indioa would benefit down the road. Privatisation is important for defence equipment. Govt entities are not at all efficient. Projects get delayed even quality is also not good

DEI hire isn't a good thing. Defense must be merit based. The real % will be around 2-5% and not 15%. Most tech women head to IT/MBA.
